What a wonderful weekend we had by the river! The shack had everything and extra that you could need for a holiday. We had a l group of friends/ family and it was great to have enough seating inside and out for us. From reading to board games to wakeboarding much fun was had by all. The little ones adored the paddle boat and sandy riverbank whilst we enjoyed having our speedboat in or relaxing on the pontoon. The fans on the outdoor deck were a delight during sunset and we enjoyed delicious bbqs, baking and big cook ups with all the utensils provided. Great AC even on the 44 degree day. No dishwasher meant for bonding time over a tea towel which was a good laugh! Great room lay outs, comfy beds and 2 bathrooms worked well. Would recommend this home for anyone wanting a river space! We hope to return yearly now! Thanks so much for sharing your home.

If you’re looking for an all encompassing glamping adventure to the river then look no further. This house has more than enough room to fit a large family, plenty of activities to keep children occupied and all the utilities you could need to be comfortable. It’s also situated just a short walk from the boat ramp. Amazing value for the price!

We had a wonderful stay at Bradley’s Airbnb by the river! The place was spotless and incredibly family-friendly, making it the perfect spot for our getaway. The location was peaceful and relaxing, with beautiful river views. Bradley was also very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this spot for a quiet and enjoyable retreat!

Absolutely loved our stay at shack time. Michael and Lyndel were very responsive and informative to our questions, they were also very accommodating with checkin and checkout times. The house had everything we needed for our riverside stay and the boat dock was very useful. We will be sure to return in the future.

Absolutely the best place to stay on the river! Everything you could need was in the accommodation and the views/night sky were amazing. Highly recommend and wish I’d stayed longer.

Our experience with Michael was fantastic and the property just beautiful. Having a private river front away from the busyness of the main public spaces was phenomenal. Plenty of room for the jet skis, boat and kayaks and safe for the kids to explore and use the water. Wonderful experience, we'll book again.

Lovely cottage in serene surroundings with a spectacular outdoor area

We loved the place! It was so beautiful and peaceful. The view from the property was nice. We could see a beautiful sunset everyday during our stay. My kids loved strolling around and walking to the river to see so many birds. The place was very clean and cluster free and the hosts were very responsive as well. We had a relaxing stay! We had some staff stay here and it was great, had everything they needed, and the host was very communicative. Would recommend and stay again if in the region :)

We stayed here for almost a week and had the best relaxing time. The property is such a precious space and we felt lucky to have it all to ourselves. A lot of privacy and huge space outdoors for the dogs to run around. Highly recommend!!

Peter's place is Awesome !! It is very clean; with well appointed amenities; quiet; and peaceful. As an added bonus it is within easy walking distance of the very, very cool and quaint town of Strathalbyn. If we are in area in the future, we'd Love to stay there again. The Jetty Hut is a great stay for a two person getaway. It is very well equipped and comfortable. The surroundings are extremely calm and relaxing, with the extra bonus of the beautiful lake and supplied kayaks.
