Stunning property! I would say it’s even more amazing in person. Felt right at home and enjoyed the spacious property and home. Tons to do to entertain all kids and adults. Looking forward to staying again when we can spend more time here!

Great location! We were able to boat to both Trident and Duncan Bridge Marinas. The views were gorgeous. Very quiet and peaceful. The house was clean and perfect for 6 adults (3 couples). Of note there were only 2.5 baths not 3.5 as listed. The two queen rooms share a Jack n’ Jill bathroom.

Easily the best AirBnb I have ever stayed in. This place is truly a gem - the photos do not do it justice. I had 10 friends fly in from California and they were able to experience Mt Cheaha State Park (less than an hour drive) and the calming nature surrounding Lake Wedowee. Thank you so much Philip & Lana for the amazing experience!

I made a huge mistake when booking. And I booked the wrong date, but as soon as I reached out to the owners, they were understanding and kind and worked it out with me so that We could go another time. Wonderful people!

We absolutely loved our stay here! We took a family vacation with our two young kids for a week just to relax and so my husband could fish on the lake. The house was gorgeous and clean, and the view was amazing. It was in a quiet area and the check in was super east. Stephanie was awesome and answered messages quickly. We had an issue with the toilet on our first morning, but I let Stephanie know and she had someone out within the hour to fix it - on a Saturday - and we had no other issues with it. There isn't much to do in the direct area, but there is a newer brewery closer to Cullman that we loved. Huntsville was an hour away and we took a day trip to Nashville. The house/location was perfect to just relax in but it also wasn't too bad of a drive if we wanted to go somewhere for the day since we had the time. We would definitely stay here again if we decide to go back to this area!

The cabin is easy to get to and sits on a beautiful point facing the lake. There’s a comfy screened porch, firepit area and boat dock with kayaks. There is a smaller studio cabin on the property as well that he owns and could easily allow for a small group of people to rent both structures! It’s clean and we felt safe in the area. Gas station is five miles away with groceries and made to order pizza. We will definitely be back!

We liked the overall experience- peaceful location, in front of the beautiful lake, comfortable rooms. Perfect place for groups to get together.

Amazing stay in the Trottage! Perfect for a weekend at the lake with our two young children. Plenty to do and very relaxing with amazing lake access and views! We will definitely be back!

The home was clean and in an ideal location for our recent family gatherings. We loved the mountain-top location and the surprise underneath the cliff at the base of the stairs!
