Stop looking and book this! Safe, private and peaceful. We loved our stay here and were sad to leave. It is even better than the photos. The jungle setting was so peaceful and had so much wildlife, which thrilled our family. The hosts are great communicators and attentive. No issues with directions or check-in. All rules are reasonable and easy to follow. Location felt safe and secure. We had rented a car and the location was absolutely perfect for all the activities on our itinerary. Cenotes, beach, snorkeling, restaurants and stores just a short trip away. This Airbnb was exactly what we were looking for and did not disappoint. Would definitely stay again!

Ileana met us on arrival, responded promptly and the house was just what we expected. Near good restaurants, and easy walking distance to strip. Always felt safe and it was quiet.

Room looks like the photos, it’s just enough space for 2 people and theres nothing to complain about.

John a été un hôte très accueillant, serviable et de bons conseils. Malgré le fait que nous soyons arrivés juste après le passage d'un cyclone, il a pris le temps de nous accueillir, de nous informer et simplement de bavarder. Akumal Camp est un peu excentré et c'est un joli petit oasis dans la jungle mexicaine. Pensez à prendre de l'anti-moustiques, mais ça c'est une remarque valable pour une grande partie de la péninsule.

Eduardo has a great little place off the beaten path and out of the touristy zone of Playa. I don't drink or party so being outside of the touristy area was nice. The place is really beautiful and clean and the natural elements of the courtyard are beautiful as is the terrace. The location is a bit of a walk to downtown Playa but very close to some great beaches and every Sunday you can catch the huge street market if you walk 25th Ave down past Calle 60. It has anything and everything you could imagine and better prices than anything on the tourist strip and lots of local food vendors as well.

Highly recommend. We stayed for one week, working remotely and then doing activities over the weekend. The space was exactly what we were looking for: internet worked well, multiple spaces to work from, and a small kitchen. Leydi is very responsive and really friendly. We ended up using the bikes she had available, which were great for a local ride. If you want to bike the 40 mile loop, I’d recommend getting hybrid bikes (which is what we did). Overall fantastic and would stay again.

Le logement est propre. Je m’y suis sentie en sécurité. Le wifi fonctionne très bien. Vous avez un supermarché (chedraui) à 10 minutes à pied et une laverie à 5 minutes. Si vous êtes étranger, n’hésitez pas à demander l’adresse exacte avant votre arrivée et/ou le contacte de la personne qui vous accueillera. Dans mon cas, il n’a pas été évident de trouver le logement.

I loved my one month stay at this airbnb and the family who runs it are wonderful, decent people . It is a safe, quiet and comfortable option and I highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful location. The Airbnb itself is stunning and has all you need for a comfortable stay. Breakfast brought up every morning is delicious and healthy. Melisa and Nancy are great and communicative hosts. They even packed us a to go box on the day we drove to Chichen Itza. The bed is large and comfortable. Room is stunning. This is a much better location for Tulum compared to hotel zone. It is relaxing, private, and not packed with parties. The beach is amazing with soft sand. Seaweed is present no matter where you are in Tulum, but it is much less of an issue here than we saw it down in hotel zone. Also, there is a pier to walk right out into the ocean with no seaweed present. The access to the sea here was better than anywhere else on our trip. They also have kayaks, paddle boards, or even a Cenote nearby. The restaurant next door is also a must, with very friendly staff and live relaxing music on Thursdays. Highly recommended booking!

Samy, it was such a pleasure to meet you and stay at Casa Del Sol. The time we spent in/ next to the pool was unforgettable. Thanks to Arturo and Sylvia for being so hospitable, gracias Mama! The AC worked great, even for my -always hot- spouse. It worked out to be under $80 CAD per night for us and it felt like we had a private hotel room, with a private pool near a beautiful park close to the centre of Cancun. I highly recommend staying here. We had some trouble navigating the neighborhood with our rental car, but with google maps preloaded we got around safely and efficiently. Reserved spots for tenants on the street outside the gate. The wifi at Casa Del Sol was great. Samy was very responsive, ensure to use her number! If you’re not sure about something make sure to ask her, her instructions are very thorough. Hosting is definitely a skill Samy has developed very well. When we return to Cancun, we hope to stay at Casa Del Sol again!

Andres is a great host. He’s very attentive to details and flexible if something changes. Great value, a fantastic location and easy walk to the beach and restaurants. I will definitely check availability the net time I’m in Puerto Moreles!

Nancy was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and generous with her spectacular home. Our casita had all the little and big extras to make us completely comfortable. We were combining relaxing and working remotely and had excellent wifi speeds and the ability to take a break and swim some laps in her 25 meter pool! Nancy is so generous with her space— it almost felt like we had the whole gorgeous property to ourselves!! And she introduced us to a local Mayan liqueur that we now love — thank you for everything, Nancy!!!!

We stay at a lot of Airbnb’s and very few of them stand out as Hacienda Xcaret. The owners father lives onsite and was incredibly gracious and kind, always responsive to our many questions and even offered to grab us supplies when he ran to town for himself. There are very limited options for dining nearby so prepare to purchase groceries so you don’t find yourself a hangry mama on Sunday morning when you realize the only breakfast spot nearby is closed! We wouldhave been in quite a bind but Skip offered to allow me to raid his fridge and the eggs and bacon he provided saved this mamas day! It is quite far from pretty much everything, but that was exactly what we wanted. Walking distance to the park that we attended was a huge plus. The grounds are absolutely incredible and you can see the love and care that has been put into their design. I do wish we had decided to rent a car to be able to explore more of the area, but we were perfectly happy to spend our time enjoying the property.

What a great oasis! It was so nice to have two outdoor spaces to enjoy ... the covered upper patio was lovely and it was great to have sun loungers available. I enjoyed the plunge pool several times a day. Unit was 12 min walk to 2 large grocery stores and 15 min to the tourist area.
