The place itself is astonishingly good despite the presence of mosquitos and insects (better to have off lotion) since its an open air ventilation so most of the time insects would just fly in and out. We didn't get the chance to start a bonfire tho since the wood is wet but would be nice if the caretakers set aside some dry wood for the guests to maximise the deal. Only cons here are the insects and hot humidity in the morning since ( there is no air-conditioning ) which is a must for back up during summer season. Grateful for the experience and responsiveness of our hosts.

We had an excellent time at Mio’s place. The house itself was beautiful, spacious, bright and clean. Perfect for a large group. Kitchen appliances and cooking paraphernalia , super nice and all we had to do was chill. The property was full of trees, and my family had a great time at the pool which was provided with areas just to sit and bond. The rooms were large with comfortable beds, clean and fresh linen. Marj, the head of the property staff was very attentive to our needs, gave clear instructions and was awesome. Planning to book again this year. Recommend this place 💯 percent.

Balai Pahuwai is really a nice place to stay. Perfect place to relax and a place that is so peaceful and a time to really bond with family. Me and my family really like the place and the staff is really accommodating and Bang is always responsive and very helpful to our request. It’s too bad we didn’t managed to experience the bamboo bridge because it is under maintenance but overall we like our stay in this place and it is very clean. I might book it again in the future. Thank you again to the staff of Balay Pahuwai and bang.

We booked Casa Sebastian for my birthday, aiming for an experience that was fun, peaceful, and truly special. We got all that and more during our stay! The service was exceptional. Grace, a huge thank you to you and your entire team. We felt genuinely taken care of, and we appreciate how you accommodated all our little requests. The complimentary bonfire for one night was a fantastic touch! The view is absolutely fantastic, and the natural vibe truly enhanced our experience. The pool table was also a big hit — our family couldn’t stop playing! Overall, we are truly grateful for everything you did to make our stay memorable.

14 members of our family stayed here and the place was very relaxing with a beautiful view and plenty of activities to do. We felt safe and secure throughout our stay. The assistants there were extremely kind and helpful. Overall, it was the best experience with a good place to be with your family and friends

Very nice and relaxing place. Good location in the middle of a forest. No phone signal but they have wifi for guests. Only complain was the electric power seems underpowered.

The place is exactly as described. Neighborhood was quiet and the unit feels safe with a lockable metal gate installed as well. The place is neat and spacious. It was also very cosy, my husband and I felt at home right away. April is an excellent host. She has hosted us twice, and on both instances, we are impressed by her responsiveness, friendliness and her hospitality. We will definitely book the place again when we visit.

it was wonderful experience.. but please expect that parking area is 5 mins away from the actual cabin.. But overall, everthing is perfect.. Will definitely comeback..

Good place. Very accommodating host and personnels. Lot of things to do. Worth the price. Although, bumpy access road going into the property, but manageable. Very accessible, just 1 ride from SM Masinag and 1 tryk ride.

Even the brief brownout we experienced was a minor inconvenience, easily overshadowed by all the positives. The cold weather was surprisingly pleasant, and the comfortable beds ensured we slept soundly. We loved it so much that we even requested an extension on our checkout time to soak it all in! Tierra de Segundo totally blew me away! The listing photos really don’t capture the incredible magic of this place. As soon as you step through their gates, it’s like you’ve entered a fabulous resort paradise! It’s an experience that’s beyond what I ever imagined! One of the things I absolutely adore about this place is the incredible outdoor kitchen! It’s so convenient for cooking, and since it’s outside the pavilion, all those delicious food smells stay outside where they belong! This place is TOTAL IG gold!!! The cabins are absolutely adorable! A little heads-up: the stairs to the second floor are definitely steep, but trust me, once you reach the top, you’re enveloped in pure coziness! And let me tell you about Mam Irene—she is the sweetest! She went above and beyond to make us feel right at home. Whenever we had a question, she was quick to respond, usually within minutes! Without a doubt, we’re adding Tierra de Segundo to our top picks for celebrations with friends!

I randomly checked out this accommodation and asked Paulo all the questions I had, which he answered very promptly. We were looking for a place away from buildings and vehicles, and this one was exactly what we were looking for! Just expect a 15-20 minute trek—there’s a caretaker who will guide you. When we arrived, it was raining, so be careful as the path can get slippery. But once you reach the place, it’s so beautiful. Overall, our stay was private, and both the host and the caretaker were very accommodating. The signal is intermittent, but that’s to be expected given the location. Tip: You may ask the caretaker to buy things you need, but be sure to maximize the effort he’s putting in, as it’s difficult to go back and forth. And of course, tipping is key! We’ll definitely go back! Thank you for the wonderful experience!

we loved our stay at Haruman, great location, beautiful place, cozy, you have everything you need. Mary Ann was very responsive and helpful. She tends to our request and questions. Roman, the caretaker was great too. He was very helpful, responsive and kind. You can asked to buy meals for you so you don't have to cook, which is awesome. The food tastes good. The free breakfast was amazing too! I highly recommend the place and will definitely go back here!

The place is great if you want to bond with your friends. I enjoyed our stay there, however, the directions going there is too difficult and the road is very bumpy causing us to arrived at the place late at night. Signages should be put to recognize the direction going to the main road. Overall, it's a great stay!
