This was our third time staying at Lakeside Escape and it never disappoints. This home has a huge well laid out space with high-end, comfortable furniture and beds. We love the air hockey and ping-pong or pool tables plus 2 giant TVs. Always super clean with gorgeous views of the lake with a paved walking path all around it to enjoy. Julie is always friendly and responsive to any questions or needs. When visiting our son and his family we always look here first to see if there is availability. Our grand-daughter loves to come over and "hang out" :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The house is beautiful, clean, and well stocked, and the host was extremely kind and very responsive. We’re already looking forward to booking this house again soon!

Red Oaks Retreat was the perfect spot for my girlfriends and I to catch up over the weekend. We loved the large kitchen that was well stocked to cook our meals and made good use of the game room upstairs. The attention to small details did not go unnoticed, but my favorite part was the immaculate soft yummy beds! Thank you Becky and Don. Hope to be back again next year.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Southern Comfort II. The property was open and spacious enough for a large gathering. Everyone could spread out and enjoy the amenities- hottub and game room. The entire home was neat and clean. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds/bath were very nice and far enough away to enjoy some quiet. The view was outstanding! Simply beautiful! The small town was quite sleepy, but we didn't decide on this location for such activities as we simply planned to be with each other. We highly recommend John and Southern Comfort II for a large gathering.

Britney, Mike and Jenny were very responsive to issues we had with water, heat and hot tub. Everything was corrected very quickly. The house was perfect for our family and the house was decorated with a beautiful 12’ Christmas tree. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook a large Christmas dinner for 26 people Christmas Eve. Thank you Britney for making our Christmas very enjoyable! Great memories were made.

We got many hours of joy from the piano and the incredible screened in porch. We loved the tranquility and the birdsong. The new, blessedly deep bathtub and big shower were excellent. Also enjoyed reading a few of the great books! The place was not as clean as we had expected, and since we were staying for over a month we did a good bit of cleaning, so it may be better for the next folks. Updates to the kitchen and better pans would be nice. Be prepared that there are not a lot of restaurants or grocery options nearby. We planned ahead so that wasn’t an issue. For accessibility, be aware you will need to go up or down curved wooden stairs from the main level to get to any bathroom. Be careful not to slip on the steps.

We had a great stay. Very convenient location. The house was comfortable and exactly as described.

Norris Nook was the perfect place for our needs. It was exactly as described. We will look to see it available in the future.
