We had a lovely time. Doreen and Doug were extremely responsive and helpful even when the power unexpectedly went out during a storm. We would definitely come back the next time we are in Sechelt.

Beautiful spot to relax and walk on the beach. Nice hikes around, and just a few minutes away from everything we needed. Place was spacious, views were fabulous, and the hot tub by the beach was great! Doreen was there to welcome us when we arrived later at night and we got to try her wine, or at least it was labeled that way!

James was a great host! Their location is walking distance from loads of trails and the coast. We visited on a rainy weekend and found the space to be super cozy to hang out and play games and music (we enjoyed the novelty of the records and playing the accordion and guitar). When the rain cleared we went for a beautiful long hike just outside their door. They were super warm and welcoming hosts and we loved getting to chat when we crossed paths but still felt a sense of total privacy in the suite. Would absolutely recommend the suite for anyone making a trip out to the sunshine coast. It was perfect for a winter getaway and I imagine even better in the summer with loads to do.

I had an amazing stay. Was only a few steps from the beautiful very quiet beach. Julie and her husband were lovely and very welcoming and helpful. Will definitely be returning:)

This was the perfect spot for me and my family to stay for a few days away in the new year. We were a full house of 5 and a dog but there was enough space, a lot of unique and wonderful amenities that made it extra special ( like the bathtub and sauna!) and it was a beautiful house. Clean and modern mixed with a cabin feel. We all loved it. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful and it was the perfect place for us to unwind as a family after Christmas!

My right index finger would not have to put too much thought into hitting the reserve, make it 'hot' button the next time I'm in town. Easy decision. Thank you Shawn. Your place has a nature getaway feel to it, yet close to grocery stores and restaurants. The kitchen is kitted out with everything you need and everything was functional. Comfy bed and couch with lots of sunlight to light the place up in the daytime. I'll be back.

great overall. john was very friendly and caring. he came and helped us right way when Netflix did not work and then stayed and chatted with us. we had everything we needed. Just one thing for me would be a softer mattress or topper. great location and private. we enjoyed our stay.

Stayed for just 2 nights but wish it had been longer! This was by far the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed – everything was perfect! The kitchen had everything I needed, and the location couldn’t have been better. It was peaceful and quiet, plus I was thrilled to find a beautiful beachside walking trail in the nearby provincial park. An all-around amazing stay! I will FOR SURE be back! Thank you Aileen for hosting such perfect accommodation.

We had such an amazing weekend getaway at Jennifer's beautiful home! She went above and beyond in thoughtfulness, even making me gluten free breakfast goodies. We will definitely be back :)

We absolutely loved our stay.! The house was clean, comfortable, and beautiful. Janis and Bill thought of everything in preparing the house to make our stay enjoyable. It had everything we needed for our family including our dog! The beach is just across the street and there are tons of hiking trails in the area. Janis and Bill were so helpful and welcoming. It was the perfect place for our family.

Danielle's place was the quiet, cozy and easy space I was hoping for from a weekend on the island. Would highly recommend.

We very much enjoyed our visit. Quiet location with great view of ocean. A couple of good restaurants close by and lots of trails and parks within easy drive. Marion and Fred were great hosts. Suite was well equipped and very comfortable. We will definitely return.

Loved our stay at Margit’s place, would book again if we ever find ourselves on Bowen Island! The space was bright and cozy even though it was raining for most of our stay.

I've stayed twice at Christine's Cabana and would love to stay again in the future. Christine is such a caring and helpful host, always there for any needs or doubts one might have. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, surrounded by beautiful trees. If you have a car, there's always parking space on the street. If not, public transport is only two blocks away with easy connections in and out the city. 41st Avenue is just walking distance with nice restaurants and shops. The Cabana was spotless clean and very well equipped. Everything is new and appliances are high quality (big fridge, good microwave, washer, dryer, etc). Lots of closet space ... and hangers! Bed and pillows very comfortable. Really nice shower. The light is beautiful due to the large window-doors that face the garden. So peaceful that it even makes home office almost a pleasure. Highly recommend! Thank you!

It's hard to add anything to the glowing reviews this place has rightly received. We had a wonderful week. It is a great base for getting out and about or just relaxing and admiring the sea views and very tame hummingbirds! Thank you Lyle and Maret.

Séjour excellent. Bel endroit retiré, logement très propre et avec un décor chaleureux. Les petites attentions laissées par Maria nous font sentir bienvenus dans son chez-soi. Le seul point négatif est le confort du lit moyen, mais pour un court séjour c’est correct. Je recommande cet hébergement et j’y retournerais avec plaisir. Merci et bonne continuation! Réjeanne

Mike & Dilla's place is very cozy, and the location is amazing. Right next to the beach! View of the sea from the kitchen is a bonus for sure. The bedrooms are very comfortable, and the cottage is equipped with everything you need to spend a great few days. Mike is super responsive. We will come again!

Beautiful modern and clean. We felt very much at home. Very nicely appointed kitchen with everything we needed and ability to cook some meals. Very bright loft style suite in a quiet neighbourhood with easy access to major roads, walking distance to beach and Lantzville pub. The photos don’t quite do it justice. Easy to book & modify booking as needed, very good price point for what was offered.
