The Pecan Tree Cottage is a wonderful place that offers many opportunities to relax and recharge your batteries, but it is also the perfect starting point for all kinds of activities. The cottage enjoys a wonderful location and offers numerous amenities, offers plenty of space and comfort. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. From the moment we booked, Philip provided so much detailed information about the area and so many suggestions for stops on the way to Montagu that we could have easily spent two weeks in the Montagu area. We only spent two days there, but they left us with many wonderful memories and the desire to come back. In that case, we would definitely book The Pecan Tree Cottage again. Not least because of our two excellent hosts, Sheryl and Philip. They made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived and pampered us (not only with the sensational treats in the fridge). Thank you for having us.

We absolutely loved our long-weekend in this beautiful, comfortable cottage. It felt 100% like "home" with all the little comforts - there was not a single thing we could have needed that was not there. The kitchen was a dream to work in and we very much appreciated the lovely quality wine glasses, crockery, cutlery and sharp knives! We played Scrabble at the beautiful big dining table in the kitchen and we were lucky to be able to eat dinner outside on the verandah every evening. I loved the outdoor shower too! Daryl is honestly one of the best hostesses we’ve come across. She’s so friendly and accommodating based on our travel plans. She let us check in early and leave slightly later since there were no other guests booked, which really helped with planning our activities for the day. The guest house is very cozy and relaxing with an outdoor area to enjoy the garden. Bed is very comfortable! Definitely a place to stay when visiting Greyton.

Echt een geweldige plek!!! Paradijsje op aarde. Echter host, Willem, is niet heel erg attent voor een host en reageerde niet op onze berichten. Jammer! Anders zou het zeker een 10 krijgen :).

If you are looking for the most amazing views and a break away from reality, this place is perfect. The views are amazing. The people are really friendly and helpfull. We had breakfast which was great. It is a real find. There are limited KolKol's available so be sure to book that prior to arriving if you want to use it. There is one with an amazing view which I will highly reccomend! One thing to note is that the KolKol is not included in the price which wasn't stated on the AirBnb booking. Can not recommend this place high enough! Do yourself a favour and visit it!

Absolutely outstanding stay - thank you Rene, and family, for being so hospitable and welcoming. Your farm is gorgeous - our kids loved seeing the animals and playing in the beautiful surroundings! The cottage is very stylish yet cosy and comfortable, and equipped with everything one might need. The farm feels wonderfully rural but is close to amenities and restaurants and not far off the N2 if anyone is looing for an overnight stay. Can't recommend it more!

Beautiful place on a pretty working farm. The accommodation is private, modern and has all the necessary facilities. Loved the extra small touches. There’s so much to do on the property itself. We would go back!

Beautiful and peaceful. This cottage getaway was such a lovely experience. From the wonderful greeting from our host Riana, who was always so helpful and accommodating, to the beautiful views on the patio where there is a hot tub and a braai for the perfect relaxation. Kitchen was fully equipped, bathroom was stellar and the lounge is the perfect place to relax and unwind after enjoy the beautiful peace outside. Once again, Riana is a super host, she was always super responsive and willing to help with anything we needed. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

What a wonderful location. A very neat and spacious flat set in a lovely quiet garden. The fact that the main house also runs a coffee shop is a real bonus. Cherylynn cooked us a delicious breakfast -- marmalade toast and bacon rounded off with a large cappuccino. Very friendly and helpful and we had a really pleasant and comfortable stay.
