This home is gorgeous with the mountains as a backdrop. So peaceful with an outstanding view. Fire pit was great! Sally had all we needed to have a fire in the fire pit. The lower level, where we stayed is lovely! Very clean and decorated beautifully. We only stayed one night. Would love to go back.

Pete and Kyle were wonderful hosts! They have a beautiful property and it was a short drive to Massanutten ski slopes, which was what drew us to their guest suite in the first place. Check-in was easy and the suite is exactly as shown. They were responsive and made sure everything went well with our stay. When it snowed during our trip, they salted the driveway and pathway to make sure we were safe (and even moved their car so we could park closer to the house). We would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely perfect place to spend our engagement weekend! It was cute, cozy, comfortable, and had breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Shenandoah! The amazing location near the Shenandoah River was lovely. The hammock and fire pit also added to our enjoyment! Couldn't have picked a better place to stay for this special event in our lives.

Ruthann is responsive and lovely. Her place was clean and the property is beautiful. She gives you space if you desire so you can enjoy the place. There were little snacks out that were helpful and the kitchen had everything you need. What a lovely and serene spot!

We had an amazing stay at the Miller House! The way Dawn cared for and improved the house and the property is inspiring! The house is well equipped. The rooms are spacious, the kitchen has everything you need to cook, and the living room setup is perfect. We loved sitting out on both the front porch and the patio in the morning and at night. It was chilly outside at night, so the fire pit was a nice touch, with plenty of stargazing opportunities. The gas fireplace in the living room is also very easy to operate and gives even a cozier feeling. The way the house was renovated and decorated kept the farm house feel, and gave us a real taste of country living. We loved waking up to the sunrises, and walking around the property. Every corner of the property and the house is picture perfect (we took so many pics!) Overall it was a great vacation/family reunion for us and we really enjoyed the farm house/country life feel this house provided. We would love to come back in the future!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Eileen's. Her home was beautiful. The amenities she provided was above and beyond other places I have stayed. We loved the fresh eggs we were able to purchase. The home was warm and cozy on the cold nights. We used both the fire pit and the hot tub. They were both great. If we are in the area again we would definitely book again.

My fiancé, pup, and I booked this place for a relaxing valentine’s weekend getaway, and we got exactly that! The cottage was charming and such a peaceful oasis with the beautiful views and farm animals in clear sight. The hosts were kind enough to leave us farm fresh eggs, muffins, and valentine’s themed chocolates — all were delicious and well appreciated! Additionally, they were very responsive and extremely friendly :) My fiancé and I spent time cooking dinner together, I baked, and watercolored, it was a lovely time! I highly recommend this place and hope to be back!

We loved our stay at Sarah and Kyle’s place. Although during much of our time it was rainy and cold, we were cozy and dry in the tent. We found good hikes in the area and enjoyed a local winery and cidery. It was a great place for a weekend getaway.

I can’t say enough great things about this cabin and the Super hosts that made sure every detail of our stay was comfortable!! We drove 14hrs to stay here and when we parked and stepped out on the property you can hear the soothing sound of the running stream surrounding the property, they had the hot tub turned on and every bit of this place was spotless and cozy!! They did not leave anything out. First time I’ve ever rated an air bnb stay but this place was well deserving of praise.

Such a wonderful lil home. I would most definitely come again. So peaceful and homey. Out from civilization, but not too far if wanting to go shopping. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. One of the best homes that I have been to

Had a great time staying here. My group of 8 had plenty of room. The surroundings were peaceful and private. Additionally, the hot-tub even in the dead of winter was a great amenity. Definitely recommend.

We had the most amazing stay at Big Oak Manor! The beautifully renovated farmhouse is a perfect blend of historic charm and modern comforts. The chef’s kitchen was a dream—we loved preparing meals and gathering around the huge farm table with the stunning picture window views of horses. The setting is idyllic, with breathtaking sunrise and sunset views over the mountains and peaceful rolling hills. The cozy fireplaces and reading nooks made for a relaxing and inviting atmosphere inside as well. This home is so close to incredible spots, but honestly, we could’ve stayed on the ranch the entire time—it’s that lovely. The hosts have thought of everything, and it’s clear why they’re Superhosts with such glowing reviews. Highly recommend this gem for a getaway with family or friends. We can’t wait to visit again! 🌟

Great place to stay. Amazing views from the house which is situated on a hill overlooking a valley. It is beautiful. So fun to be out in the country, relaxing and peaceful. Everything you need is in the house. All 9 of us had our own space. The pool table was a lot of fun. Close to downtown Staunton which is a fun place to walk and eat. Totally would come back and we would recommend this place to everyone.

We enjoyed our stay in this quiet, clean, and charming home. It was close to JMU and stores, and also offered other modern conveniences such as a strong WiFi connection that supported remote work during our stay. Yet, the home was also remote enough to offer beautiful rural life experiences. We loved the simple pleasures such as the fresh eggs and homemade cookies they provided, horse and buggies passing on the front road, picture perfect sunrises/sunsets, and clear night skies for star gazing.

Great place to cozy up to quiet mountain life. Amenities were provided as well as unexpected treats. Loved the warm feelings this home provided. Great launch point for a family adventure.

Not only was Julian responsive and the house inviting and clean, we were thankful for the number of blankets provided to ensure we stayed warm (bonus!). We will definitely stay here again!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Veronica's Airbnb; it was one of the best I've experienced. The accommodations were impeccably clean, and all amenities were in excellent condition. She also provided a very helpful guide to their use. Its convenient location near Shenandoah National Park made it the perfect spot for my proposal to my now-fiancée! I was overjoyed with my experience and plan to return in the fall to admire the autumn foliage. I highly recommend Skyline Drive and Luray Caverns. Thank you again!

The place was amazing, clean, and just the perfect mountain getaway aesthetic, far enough to be private but close enough to local attractions, restaurants and bars. Perfect if you just wanna stay in too, take a walk and breathe in the mountain air! I would buy this place if i could, and i will come back as much as i can!

We really enjoyed the cozy cottage. The surrandings were beautiful. The hot tub was a great addition. Nice size and very clean. The cottage is a great place for a family get away. I will return. Thankyou so much for wverything.

The cabin & the land were wonderful! We wanted for nothing & enjoyed the amenities including the fireplace, the gorgeous expansive porch, the firepit, the diverse selection of books, games & puzzles, gourmet coffee options, spacious bedrooms, stylish furnishings, etc! I must mention something that has nothing to do with the airbnb itself, but that I wish I had known: the surrounding community is heavily confederate. We were confronted with well-painted confederate flags on the sides of wooden barns/garages as well as flying on front porches and on many graves in local cemeteries in the surrounding valley. This made for interesting conversation, but when we went to lunch at Southern Kitchen & a few tables over was a group of more than 20 members of a motorcycle club whose matching denim jackets were emblazoned with large confederate flags on the backs, the situation became intimidating. We were a racially diverse group of six people ranging from teenagers to adults & left a bit gutted.

Recently visited this place and enjoyed every bit of it. The home is great and extremely quite. The dogs loved it. I would highly highly recommend getting in before the snow begins to fall, as the description says it is steep going to the airbnb. The HOA did plow EVERYTHING leading all the way and was nice enough to clean up a bit of the snow in the yard.
