Very peaceful getaway from the city. About an hour and a half drive from Manhattan. Place was clean, quiet, and retro. Loved getting to take the row boat out around the lake and listen to vinyl records all while being surrounded by nature. Owners were very helpful and responsive.

Great house for our extended family winter get together. Loved the one great room with kitchen, dining, and living areas. The out building game room was perfect for a snowy cold weekend. Carl was very responsive during our stay. His ice skating rink recommendation was helpful. And the snow removal services were greatly appreciated.

Dana’s home was beautiful and very comfortable for our little family visiting the areas for skiing and tubing. Dana was kind enough to gift us some fresh local coffee and treats. The kids loved the game room and reading / yoga room. 10 mins from My Peter. 15-20 mins from Main St in Warwick. Would be a great spot in the summer for the direct lake access (some Greenwood Lake homes aren’t clear if they have direct access or not). They are next to the marina so can’t speak to how busy it would be in the summer months. All in all, a great 2 night family stay with a lovely host.

We couldn’t have picked a better home to spend Thanksgiving in! The house was absolutely perfect—spacious, modern, and comfortable, with the most stunning, private views of the lake. Waking up to those breathtaking views every morning made our holiday extra special. Malik was incredibly responsive, helpful, and accommodating every step of the way, ensuring our stay was seamless and enjoyable. The home felt like the perfect retreat, and we’re so grateful for the experience. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway!

We spent our family Christmas at Nancy's house and enjoyed a bit of Manhattan too. It was perfect. The house is in a quiet location with a wonderful view. I highly recommend it.

WOW!! We cannot say enough amazing things about our stay. We stayed for the holidays and the snow surrounding the lake was the most beautiful surrounding imaginable. It was so peaceful and we watched both sunrises and sunsets there. Plus there were tons of beautiful swans to appreciate! The house was extremely pristine, decorated beautifully for the holidays, and felt like home. This was such a special stay and our host was so accommodating! We will absolutely be back.

Everything was perfect ! My family and I had a great time. Looking forward to staying here again in the summer.

Chris’ place was immaculately decorated and felt peaceful! Beautiful spot right on the pristine lake, foliage being in peak season definitely made things even better. Close to fun fall towns like Sleepy Hollow and Cold Spring, but honestly could just spend every minute relaxing at the well-stocked home. You can tell Chris and his family take pride in their home and are happy to share it to price the best experience for their guests. Chris was quick to respond if needed and went out of his way to make a trip quickly to ensure we were properly taken care of at the home. 10/10 - would recommend!

What a wonderful time in a wonderful place. Since the moment we arrived we knew we made the right choice booking this place. The outside area was spacious enough and perfect, our dog start running around as soon as we open the gate. The house was nice and clean, master room with a king bed, the other room with a spectacular view of the woods. Washing and drier on site and a very equiped kitchen. The bathtub was right in front of where the sunset werensetting down so for the 3 days of our stay we have a wonderfull view. Kelly (our host) was excellent in answering our messages and accomodating our needs. Place is A Diamond...Me, my wife and Niko (our dog) simply Love it.

The area was absolutely beautiful. Valhalla Lake was private with stunning views. The cabin was exactly as it was described and the book of directions that was left for guidance was easy to follow.

Fantastisk sted, hvis du trænger til at slappe af uden for byen i et par dage. Vi tilbragte en forlænget weekend i huset. Huset er hyggeligt, velholdt og føles varmt hjemligt med masser af sjove detaljer i indretningen. Køkken har alt hvad du skal bruge. Badeværelset er småt, men mangler ikke noget. Beliggenheden er fantastisk på toppen af en klippe med udsigt over vandet og ud over skov som havde flotte efterårsfarver. Der er en lille båd og en kano som vi brugte til at sejle ud og fiske. Også en terrasse nede ved vandet som man kan sidde og slappe af på eller fiske fra. Igor er hjælpsom og imødekommende.

Beautiful space! Private and tranquil neighborhood with wonderful lake views. The house was extremely clean and cozy with comfortable beds, an extremely stocked kitchen, and toiletries in the shower. Would definitely stay here again!

The property was beautiful and very clean. I loved the art and small touches that made us feel so welcome and at home. We were traveling with our pup and there were bowls out and nice pet blankets on the couches. It felt so inviting. There were lots of books and games available too! Pam, our host, was super kind and responsive. We would definitely stay again.

We recently stayed at the Nordic Cabin and loved every minute of it! From the moment we first set eyes on the cabin to when we stepped inside the warm, inviting decor, we knew we made the right choice. While the pictures online were nice, the cabin in person was much better. There were several hiking trails we visited nearby, including the Stairway to Heaven and the Appalachian Trail. On the day we hiked the Appalachian, we woke up to a dreamy scene of heavy misty fog from the lake drifting through the trees, viewed beautifully through the large picture windows. The fog continued later in the day during the hike, making the trail feel mystical. We would have stayed longer, but we were eager to return to the cabin. Property feels very secluded with the back facing the lake. We imagined how picturesque this place would be during the fall foliage and made a note to return in autumn if not sooner. Final comment - loved the towel warmer!

We enjoyed our long weekend at the lake house. Great views of the lake and the home is well equipped with lots of board games, TVs, a projector, great sound system, dart board, foosball and more. We were in the dead of the winter and can imagine how its even more fun in the summer when you can grab the boats and head out onto the lake.

Great house and great value! If you are looking to play some golf in the area, I recommend Centennial Golf Course and Putnam County Golf Course. The house can be a little tricky to find if you are using Google maps or ordering Ubers - best to use Waze and drop a pin for the Uber!

This place needs a 6-star rating. The location is serene and absolutely stunning; the cabin faces a small island. It’s well-heated, had everything we need, and is perfect for a 4-person cabin retreat. Cynthia and Warren greeted us on our arrival, and they were super kind and hospitable. Thank you Cindy, we created some magical memories at your place.

Indian lake is holy ground. I’m a level 5 empath and energy worker. Ancient wisdom energy beings thrive wi th tallman state park behind the house and the fauna and healthy ecosystem speak for itself. In these three day visit we saw 1) 2 Pilated woodpecker’s 2) a family of 6 bears replete with a cub hugging a tree 3) a great grey heron with 7 foot wing span 4) a gaggle of giant crows and 5) a lone HUGE black bear > 600 lbs. if nature is your cup of tea Lionel’s your man. Thanks again we will be back!

If you're looking for the ultimate getaway, this lake house near Greenwood Lake in New York is an absolute gem. The real star, is the view. Every morning, you see the breathtaking panorama of Greenwood Lake, the water and surrounding mountains. We enjoyed our mornings on the deck and in the evening, the view is magical. Large windows let us take in the view from almost every room. The kitchen is fully equipped, making it easy to cook up a meal! This lake house is the perfect balance of seclusion and convenience, offering us a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the City!!!

There's something homey and really special about Camille's place in Monroe. The view of the lake is great, especially through the trees, but also the whole place feels designed to be fun for a small to medium sized group. It's got the best kitchen I've seen at an Airbnb that's for sure! and the ping pong table makes for tons of fun. Great place, great time, lovely host!
