We had a great time, nice tucked away cabin, hot tub was fantastic, and the space is super cute. Would recommend and would definitely stay again.

Lori’s is exactly what we need while visiting family over a holiday. She is very gracious to host us over Thanksgiving as the last occupants of the year. Even during a snow storm, her place is cosy and beautiful. This is our second year coming, and we love it every time. We would recommend it for those looking for a charming getaway from busy life. Just returned from the most fantastic 2 weeks exploring the US which included a weeks stay at Kiwi Lodge. Where to start? This was exactly as described and the perfect base for exploring Maine. The property was spotless and has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. 3 beautiful bedrooms, 2 great sized bathrooms, wonderful living area and kitchen and fantastic games room. Hot tub was brilliant. The location on the lake is just perfect, we had the lake to ourselves and took the canoe out. Nearest town of Farmington has all the shops and cafes you’d need. The communication from Kay was great from the day we booked, and recommendations we took her up on were all absolutely spot on. Thank you Kay and thank you Kiwi Lodge for a holiday to remember!

Jen’s cabin was exactly what we were looking for. It was in a quiet area, had a beautiful view, and felt very relaxing. There was detailed instructions and information on where things were located within the cabin and how to use the hot tub/stove/etc. We had everything we could have needed. Cooking was made easy with the stove and grill with plenty of utensils/cookware. Plenty of linen/towels. Easy access to the hot tub from the cabin. Two great stores were within a 5 minute drive for all essentials and really great pizza. We felt we had privacy at this location and could really enjoy the space/outdoors. The firepit was lovely and had everything needed to start, even if inexperienced. Thank you Jen!

We cozied in for a couple of days, highlights were playing board games and the hot tub on the deck. Pretty pond just steps away. The heart of the cabin is the back deck.

The location is magical . Loved waking up and seeing the scenery. The trail was really well maintained given all the snow. We've had a wonderful hike to the pond seeing only nature, not one person on the trail. It was fun stopping and trying to identify all kinds of animal tracks along the path. We are thinking of coming back in the spring or summer. Thank you for muffins Toby and Peter!!!

Look no further for your next stay in the mountains of Maine, and only a short drive from Sugarloaf. I have stayed in many Airbnbs and this was by far the best experience I have ever had. The place is exactly as described and was fully stocked with everything you’ll need throughout your stay. It has a very charming “mountain” touch and honestly was difficult to leave.. The hot tub was awesome after a day on the slopes as well. What stood out the most for us was the care, attention, & responsiveness of the hosts. They were very flexible with checking in/out. We also left a bag behind and they made it their top priority to get it shipped back to us asap. I cannot recommend this place enough! Spectacular experience from beginning to end.

We had a wonderful visit at Caitlin’s cozy cabin! Loved watching the sunrise in the morning from the front porch and winding down with a glass of wine in the evening outside. Caitlin and Jackie were both very responsive and great hosts - will be staying here again!

It was exactly what we were looking for as a little weekend get away. It was fairly quiet and in the woods just enough for privacy. The fire pit was great and we just really enjoyed our time there. Would definitely stay again. Only thing notable was the grill did not have a propane tank which was okay to us because we had our own little camping grill but if you plan to use the one there, just a heads up!

Had an awesome time. Place was private but still close to stores and town. Super clean inside and full of things to do, nice tv, back patio was beautiful to look out at anytime of time of the day. Connor was very quick for responses and awesome to have as a host. 10/10 would recommend seriously can’t think of a single complaint.

I loved this place! Enjoying coffee and meals outside on the deck overlooking the lake and beautiful surroundings of nature. I felt safe there and was a charming neighborhood. I loved that there were boats to use and a dock to watch sunset an autumn harvest moon over lake! Jess was the perfect host and made sure everything was great when I arrived. She was very helpful when I had any questions and I am looking so forward to going back there again! Thank you Jess for sharing this wonderful place!!!

Great stay; were very accommodating about our repeated, rather last-minute extensions of our stay. All I would say is that if you’re visiting in winter , you’ll definitely need 4 wheel drive to get to the house! But other than that, it was perfect for our needs and we really appreciated how accommodating Hui, Roger, and Cindy were of our changing plans. Very well stocked with cleaning supplies and kitchen things as well. Tub was really nice for my little one and we enjoyed the wood stove. Also very clear instructions and ultra quick response times. Very private. I’m sure in warmer months the fire pit outside area are really nice; as wintertime guests, once we got the car in, we appreciated being able to park so close and the absence of stairs or steps to navigate and the covered porch in front of the entry for loading and unloading.

Charming little cottage on the lake! Had a lot of fun, easy to get to town and the lake was serene and peaceful. Great place to stay!

This cabin was a wonderful place to spend the week, and I couldn’t be more happy. The hosts were communicative and friendly; offering great local recommendations. My girlfriend and I would be more than happy to stay here again!

I had an absolutely magical stay at Camp Moonbud. It was just me but I could have fit the family. For starters, it’s on a beautiful lake. The house is cozy and lovingly decorated, high-end linens, well stocked kitchen, and spotlessly clean. They didn’t miss a thing. I was the last visitor of the season and the chill was setting in, mist coming up off the lake in the mornings, and the most beautiful evening sunsets. I can imagine what a joy it must be to be here in the height of summer. The camp is located near to great hiking (I hiked), good food (I ate), and not far from Midcoast or Portland. The proprietors – Amy and Dana - are unmatched. They are responsive and warm and engaged Mainers; they picked up a grocery order for me because I was getting in late the first night, left treats for my morning breakfast, and even invited me to join their Sunday morning running gang! Huge bonus. Left Readfield with a couple of new friends! Highly recommend this gem.

Couldn’t be happier with our stay! Michelle was a great host and the property was everything we wanted and more. We honestly found ourselves spending more time just enjoying the property and the surroundings then some of our planned activities. It was truly hard to leave and we would come back and stay in a heart beat!

Such an amazing private, quiet place with breathtaking views! If your one with nature then this is the place to go, from its off the grid living ( no power and no running water) then this is a palace! Wood stove heating that keep us toasty during the Valentines weekend storm of 2025! Will definitely be returning in the future!!

If you are looking for a perfect Waldenesque retreat for a few days THIS IS IT. Perfect for those who appreciate the beautiful quiet of life on a marine estuary, who are looking to camp-glamp without intrusion, yet also not ready for a truly remote location (you can get to the charming town of Bath in 15 minutes!). I sincerely hope to return.

Kim's place felt like camping out, in a great way. We love the little three stringed dulcimer and cooking hot dogs on the campfire. The beds were comfortable! Thank you, Kim!

Great place and stay! Great hosts. My family (5) and my brother's family (5) rented 2 of the cabins that shared a back yard. This was a perfect setup for two families who want to vacation together but have some separation / private space. A generally quiet location. The cabins were beautiful and authentically Adirondack. There is a "wow" factor when you walk into either cabin. They had everything we needed. The yard was great for a firepit, and games. The HOA beach is a very short drive ~3 min?, or a long walk - maybe ~15 min? (wouldn't recommend this if you're carrying anything), and a really nice setting/view with sandy beach, moored boats, and a nice dock to swim to in a roped off area. Very protected. We could walk or short drive to downtown Booth Bay for all the shops, etc. - great. The botanical gardens were a close drive, and incredible - great for kids also. We even did a ~1hr drive to visit Camden one day - really nice. Overall a great stay and I'd recommend!

We had a very restful three days at Rod’s lovely cabin. This is a fantastic place to stay for those seeking to experience the midcoast area for what it is (without all the tourist traps and hustle and bustle that you’ll find in Bar Harbor area). Don’t sleep on this gem!

We love Katharine’s cabin! This is our second year and we plan to make it a tradition. It’s just a great location, and the cabin makes you feel right at home. It’s easy to disconnect and just take Boothsbay in! Thank you for having us!

I stayed for three days, and it was everything the host described. The layout was perfect, making it a comfortable and relaxing stay. It snowed during my visit, which ended up being a great experience. Andrea and Jamey were awesome hosts, they truly thought of everything, providing all the essentials and more. I’d definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back!
