Second time booking Heron hideaway; Family enjoyed our trip there last time. Couldn’t ask for a better host. Daina was always available when we had questions. If you want to disconnect this is the place to go, peaceful and relaxing. Big yard for your fur-babies to run around.

Tayna was amazing as a host! we enjoyed every every minute of our time at her home! She was so proactive and incredibly kind! Her instructions were easy follow, and the home was clean, well maintained, and felt like home! The back deck was just beautiful to sit on especially at night and watch the little fish jump. We couldnt have picked a better place! I absolutely recommend her home to anyone!

The home was spacious. Very clean! Perfect for our three couples and kids who stayed. Although it’s off of a main road it was very private and gated. Loved having full access to the pool. Would definitely stay again! Thank you Justin for being a responsive host!

My husband and I wanted a quick getaway, but not too far from home. Rockport was the perfect place to relax for a couple days. The house was extremely responsive and very helpful. The little cute cottage was perfect and exactly what we needed. Lastly we were grateful that we were able to bring our two Yorkies With us.

Had an exciting stay here with my wife and two kids. It was very tranquil.

The Elk House was perfect for our family of 8. There was plenty of space for everyone to sleep and relax. The location is fantastic, too, being just a few blocks off the intersection of 2 major roads. It is Corpus, so like most towns in Texas it's not exactly walkable, but it was close to a convenience store and small shopping center. Even though it was conveniently located, it was still a quiet neighborhood and there is nothing behind the house for a long ways. Karen was very helpful and provided clear instructions. Most of the light switches and amenities are labeled which was often appreciated. Speaking of amenities, of the dozen or so BnBs we have stayed, this one was easily the one that felt the most like friends saying, "We're going to be gone for the weekend so why don't you stay at our place?" Cozy and well appointed, though be aware that it's named the Elk House for a reason and if you have difficulty with taxidermy animals, you might consider other options.

Such a nice place! Our group loved staying here; it was very spacious and fun.

We enjoyed the place so much, we've almost got our next trip to Mark's booked. Exactly what we needed for a peaceful, restful, delicious food, four day get away. Mark's place is terrific - highly recommended. Even the goodies in welcome bag were helpful.

Really enjoyed our stay, great location, fishing pier is wonderful and a quick walk. Friendly folks at the pool, enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs at the end of the day. Condo stayed nice and cool and the beds were very comfortable! Host was responsive and helpful with any questions we had.

This was our second stay at this property. The rooftop hot tub is probably our favorite amenity but the entire space is perfect for my family. The owner leaves clear instructions for everything and very responsive touching base almost immediately after booking. We definitely look forward to future stays at this property.

We had a wonderful stay! Dave had lots of recommendations for things to do and places to eat. The home is older but very comfortable, we slept great every night and never once worried about our safety. As stated in other reviews the patio door does not lock, but there is a removable bar that holds the door shut and is probably stronger than the original lock.

Diana was very helpful and always quick to respond. We absolutely loved location and the outdoor pool was great to have when we wanted something other than beach time.

It's a nice little spot. Not too far from neighboring Port Aransas (depending on the ferry line) and Corpus Christi (45 minutes). Comfortable for up to four people. Within a block of Little Bay. Easy to get in and out of. It can be a bit noisy in the morning from the second-floor patrons, but the place is clean and provides the essentials for a nice little getaway.

Amazing little house in such a cute little rental neighborhood! Super friendly neighbors and the porch area is EXACTLY as pictured!! Quiet and away from the hustle and bustle but still within short distance from grocery stores and quick stop restaurants! Jenny is super sweet and very informative and always ready to answer and questions! Cannot wait to return for next family trip!!

Incredible stay. The cabin is even more gorgeous in person. Very well maintained and clean. Very well equipped kitchen! The setting was just so relaxing. Definitely the place for a getaway. We were visited by a friendly peacock, and a flock of guineafowl. Great spot to bbq and fish! Thank you Tyler for the awesome host. This is the first airbnb I have been where I truly look forward to booking again!

Place was very clean and peaceful!!.We did have a minor issue with one of the bedrooms air, but Jenny responded very quickly to try and get the issue fixed.

If your looking for peace and quiet this is definitely the place to be. Very friendly little park and not far from some good fishing spots. The scenery was absolutely beautiful in the mornings. I’ll definitely be back!
