Jair, Liam, and crew were very responsive and gave plenty of information to support a fantastic stay. My partner and I enjoyed the peaceful space to read and take a break from electronics. It was a lovely space, well insulated and warm with the fire going. They were very kind to have started and kept the fire going until we arrived so the yurt was warm. Would absolutely recommend if you are willing to keep a fire going for warmth, and aren't fussy about needing to boil/heat water and more rustic stay.

The yurt is cozy and clean on arrival. The tub is pretty small to accommodate 5 adults, we had three and were pretty tight. Not having a bathroom closer does make the price feel very expensive, it is a basic room with a bunk and futon as described. Overall nice place to stay

Very cosy, unique and rustic place, perfect for a romantic getaway. The separate bathroom/shower was top notch and modern. Suzanne was super friendly and accommodating. We really liked this special place and would come back in a heartbeat!

Second time staying in the yurt. City of rocks is one of my favorite places in the world. This makes for a very comfortable and “rustic” stay when the weather is questionable. Kind of a glamping feel. Unlike most yurts I’ve stayed in, you do need to bring everything to cook, including pots pan and utensils. But I knew that going into it and was well prepared. I also missed the word, burning stove for nostalgic reasons , but the gas heater kept us plenty warm and we did not have to get up to feed the fire through the night. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

My adult son and I were looking for a rustic, relaxing getaway with modern conveniences and close to the ocean. The yurt was all of that! You have to bring your own bedding, which was no big deal. You can hear the ocean and the rain, and sit on the deck and enjoy the surrounding nature and even see the ocean through the trees. The moon over the ocean at night was beautiful. The path to the ocean nearby was washed out, but we decided to just stay in and relax, cook a good meal, and watch movies. We left feeling relaxed and refreshed! We highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to chill out no matter what you end up doing on your trip. We gave it 5 stars, but hope the path gets fixed soon!

The Yurt was so much fun. It is camping, or glamping I should say, so keep that in mind. But it did have everything we needed. It was a little cold at night, but Pam got us extra heating blankets to help. Pam was very responsive to our needs and she went out of our way to make sure we were comfortable and happy, which I really appreciated. The bathroom was shared with one other Yurt and the water was warm (not hot) but, remember, you are GLAMPING so that should be expected. The microwave and the wifi are in the "barn," which is a short walk away. I have AT&T and had no service in the Yurt. We loved our time there and will definitely consider coming back again. It is in such an amazing location and you do get away from all the crazy of city life.

Amazing views. Very nice experience. Glad we booked this at the last minute. Loved the surroundings and home amenities. Met the host’s husband who was very kind. Overall loved our stay.

Todd and Monica are among the nicest people you are ever going to meet. Very flexible with our reservation adjustment. They go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and at home. We stayed in their yurt in mid February and it was cozy and warm. The bed was also very comfortable. Great location proximal to Schweitzer ski hill.

Our weeklong stay in the yurt was relaxing and peaceful. The farm has beautiful walking trails, deer, and rolling terrain. We experienced snow, rain, and sunshine. The yurt is fabulous and having a fireplace for warmth was awesome! We bonded with Carly and her family while putting our dog through a truffle hunting boot camp. Will absolutely return in the future.

Camping and being outdoors are the greatest time as a family we have and winter trips are always the hardest. This was a great place to get the camping experience with still having enough amenities to not have the kids complain. The ski park was amazing and we will be coming back again

A very unique experience! You are off the grid, so our family played card games and entertained ourselves without electronics! The Yurt is filled with games, books, full amenities in the kitchen and bathroom, a wood burning fireplace and lots of blankets to cuddle up with. The town has some amazing food and place to visit. We hiked the Mesa Verde National Park.

We loved this charming and well-thought-out yurt. The pool was nice and hot, and secluded. I was pleased to find a well stocked kitchenette and bathroom with basic toiletries such as extra tooth brushes in case you forgot yours! The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. We can't wait to come back again!

It was truly more amazing in person. We walked up into the yurt, it was beautifully light up, cozy, and warm. The outdoor BBQ area was lovely as well. We got to see an eagle on the drive in and a fawn deer crossed our path while hanging by the fire. Would highly recommend and we will be returning to this relaxing get away.

The yurt was beautiful and well cared for! What a hidden gem in the middle of a large city. I would love to see the grounds during the spring and summer months. The experience is well thought out, with the hot tub and sauna. My only suggestion would be to put a privacy fence up in the area that separates the house and barn from the yurt. With other renters in the barn hanging out on the deck, there wasn’t as much privacy as I hoped for. Otherwise what a great experience! Thank you!!

Cozy little yurt, very peaceful surroundings. It was a chilly day so they had the furnace started for us so it was nice and warm by the time we got there. Hot tub was great with nice view of the trees. Would definitely book again

Everything was beautiful. Magical private setting. Outdoor space with griddle and bbq & seating area. Nature sounds all around, not much noice other than that. Bathroom was nice and cozy with towel warmer. Yurt was amazing. Views are great with nature all around. So much space to relax, cook, dine, play games, and read. Had everything needed for a relaxing and fun weekend. Books, games, blankets, cooking & dinning utensils. A local wine bottle waiting upon arrival. 🥂

Our stay at the Yurt was the perfect weekend getaway! Super peaceful and the ultimate relaxation destination. Just being able to fall asleep to the sounds of rain hitting the roof, and the crackle of the wood stove was more than I could ask for! Overall our stay at the yurt was super beneficial to our mental health, and physical wellbeing.

Fantastic spot! The yurt had everything we needed for our stay. Mark was extremely responsive and reached out with info prior to our arrival. Road was dry while we were there so didn’t have any issues. Thanks Mark!

My second visit. Very cosy and a great place to get away from it all. I knew exactly what to expect from my first visit so came well prepared. There is no microwave or oven, so having the right food options if you don't plan to eat out is a must. Also, it is a little noisy at night - freight trains and the yurt's heating will definitely wake light sleepers. The host provides earplugs if you forget to bring your own. If you plan appropriately around those two things, it's a fantastic little location and a very relaxing retreat. The yurt itself is well-decorated and extremely comfortable. Thoughtful touches like under-rug heating and throws add to the comfort level. The bathroom and kitchen are clean and modern. I will definitely book again if my travels bring me in this direction.

Super cute spot! Very private, quiet, and relaxing. Close to restaurants and shops. Had an issue with the heater hosts were very responsive and switched out same day. Look forward to staying again in the summer.

What a darling and relaxing location. Comfortable and clean. Greeted by the large white fluffy dog and he was quite friendly with my Aussie. I couldn’t love the yurt more! Only suggestion I have for visitors is to bring an eye mask if you need darkness to sleep. It was just a few days from a full moon on my visit and the room was quite lit up at night. However the stars were beautiful! Loved this location and looking forward to staying again!
