Très beau logement et propre. Le paysage est très paisible. L’hôte est amical et vraiment très réactif aux messages. On a manqué de rien. Si on revient dans ce coin on louerait à nouveau ce logement sans hésitation!

This was an amazing stay, with everything we needed to base our adventures and from and enjoy some great views and quiet away from the city. The hot tub was clean and spacious, and provided a great way to stay warm while viewing the northern lights on our first night there. We ran into an issue with arriving late due to weather and flights and it was easy to communicate with Dan through the whole process. Would highly recommend this location and house for anyone visiting the area.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Sommarøy! Die Wohnung ist schön geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Dazu ist sie perfekt gelegen, wenn du ganz in der Nähe zu wirklich guten Spots zum Fotografieren von Polarlichtern oder schönen Stränden sein willst. Auf eine große Auswahl an Restaurants musst du allerdings verzichten können. Eine Imbissstube, das Restaurant des Arctic-Hotel, ein Strandcafé sowie ein Supermarkt sind aber fußläufig erreichbar. Darüber hinaus ist Jan ein herrlich unkomplizierter Gastgeber, der sehr um das Wohl seiner Gäste bemüht ist. Wir danken ihm sehr und können einen Aufenthalt bei ihm bestens empfehlen!

The location is peaceful and perfect for a quiet retreat, yet conveniently accessible. The cable car Fjellheisen, bus stop, and grocery store are all nearby. Jarl and Frøydis are excellent hosts, and the place fully lives up to its glowing reviews. They provide all essential amenities, with the added bonus of micro-spikes for winter, which were incredibly useful. Jarl also shared some great local tips that we really appreciated. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay in Frank's beautiful house. Lots of space and a nice jacuzzi! Frank is a kind host, responded quickly if we had any questions. There is a busstop close to the house, the bus goes to Tromsø often. You can also take a taxi. To Tromsø center we paid NOK 1000 (one way)

We have spent a wonderful time at Liv's house. The view is just amazing. We went skiing during the day at Husfjellet and chasing northern lights in the evening. A perfect holiday in a wonderful place. It was like staying at the grand mother's place. We felt really well in this house. When the storm was outside, we lit the fireplace. So nice.

What A Place! I've stayed in many Airbnb over the years. This was one of, if not, THE best! The place itself was large, immaculate, and had stunning views out over the sea and mountains beyond. Everywhere was tidy and the beds were really comfortable. Plenty of amenities everywhere. We especially liked the wood for the indoor fireplace. It was a mere 30min walk into town along roads which felt safe to walk along, even in snowy conditions. A taxi from this airbnb into the middle of town was about 170NOK, so very reasonable. The location was peaceful and with relatively low light pollution and we could see the Northern Lights very well for 3 out of 5 of our nights! Some lovely walks from the airbnb, down to the Northern Lights viewing platform, along the western edge of the Tromso peninsula or along the hill towards the Prestvannet Lake (a must!) Whilst the Airbnb is fairly expensive, it is very large, so if you have a group of 5+, it represents very good value, & you will be pleased
