The Old Nunnery was easy to find. Entry was supposed to be a key code lock but this was broken. We could enter but not lock the door. One phone call and Tom who was looking after the property immediately attended and arranged for a locksmith. A new lock was fitted within a couple of hours which was brilliant. The house is large and provided great accommodation for the family. We were comprised of adults and older teens giving them space to socialise and play games but also space for everyone to watch a film together. Huge kitchen and dining room perfect as we took all our meals together creating a very special Christmas. We were 15 in total and it did not feel crowded.the kitchen has lots of crockery and cutlery and a fantastic bar area. Hot tub steam room and sauna which was greatly enjoyed. There are sone artworks as mentioned in previous reviews which might not be suitable for younger children. The views are stunning and many a morning spent watching the seals. Short drive to shops

The Clyde View cottage was just what we were looking for; rural, a great view, peaceful, a short drive to the Glasgow airport, and a feeling of seclusion. Even though there is a similar cottage on either side, the orientation and fencing give you privacy and a view over the sheep pasture and the River Clyde in the distance, feeling like you are all alone. The interior is tastefully decorated and perfect for two people. The hot tub was ready to use and we availed ourselves of the washing machine also. Make sure that you have time to hang dry your clothes, we didn't and ended up using the hair dryer! It's a quick 15 minute drive to GLA; no more than from downtown Glasgow, and much less traffic. A nice touch was the basket of local snacks and small bottle of prosecco. Cottage was super clean, welcoming and everything seemed very new. Highly recommended! Oregon/Alaska, USA

Culzean House was perfect for our needs, providing a remote and spacious retreat for our group of fourteen. The surroundings were stunning, and the location offered a peaceful escape from busy life. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub and sauna, which provided a wonderful way to unwind after a day of walking. Nearby, Pucks Glen offered a delightful walk with breathtaking views of the waterfalls. The house itself was impressive, with ample room for everyone. The rooms were exactly as described, offering plenty of options to suit all family members. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable throughout the house, ensuring we stayed connected. While there were a few areas that showed signs of wear, this was understandable given the age of the property and didn't detract from our overall experience. During our stay, we encountered a minor issue, but the owner was incredibly responsive and understanding, resolving it quickly. Overall, we would definitely return to Culzean House.

Alan is a fantastic host - he popped by in person but was also responsive by text when I had a query or two. The house is perfect for a group and the large kitchen and living room was great for spending time together. The house was well equipped with various things you might need - glasses for fizz, speakers, HDMI cables etc. The view is also lovely. Would recommend!

Spent a lovely time over Christmas... nice walk to the town along a promenade type path (dog loved the pebbled beach). Great views over the water, lovely big dining table for us all to get together for dinner, enough space for us all to do our different things ...and enjoyed a couple of dips in the hot tub at the end of a fun day! Didn't travel too much around the area, but Dunoon itself was nice and took a walk round nearby puck's glen which was worth the visit if you like country walks All in all, great place to stay Thanks Cam

All 8 of us really enjoyed our stay in Glen Massan. The lodge was very well equipped and in beautiful surroundings. It's only a short walk to Benmore botanic gardens and the garden is beautiful too. We also enjoyed the hot tub!

Absolutely loved our stay here. Immediately felt right at home. Everything clean and spotless. Would definitely come back.

Very happy to recommend this property. Good communication from host, stunning location, everything in good condition, a few local bars and restaurants. Under 5 minutes walk to railway station, right on the riverside path, 10-15 minutes walk to loch.

This is our third or fourth stay at Arthur's beautiful place. Always a first port of call for my stay's in Scotland. First time staying in the family barn and it was well laid out and equipped.

I had a fantastic stay at the wee cottage! It’s a beautiful location with stunning views. The cottage itself was cozy and comfortable and felt like home away from home.

Margaret and Stuart gave us such a warm welcome. Margaret gave us a full tour of the property. The property has a large garden that my 5 Yr old loved to explore in. The property itself had everything you need and had comfy beds! We used the off road parking. It's in such a quite location, not a long walk down into Helensburgh, takes a little longer walking back as it's up hill. We would stay again, 100%!!

Lovely cottage with easy access to so much. We recommend finding the hidden waterfall during your stay. Thanks for making our time in Scotland delightful!

This was our second stay with Liz and felt like we'd never left. Liz was responsive as always and very welcoming taking time to get to know her guests. This is definitely recommended home from home stay.

Andy’s house is fantastic for a celebration weekend. Twelve of us stayed there comfortably and there is so much public space that it’s easy to do different things yet assemble for meals. The view from the conservatory and garden is stunning. We had one person in a wheelchair and the house worked well for him too. Andy and Joan were welcoming and helpful.

Everything as described, a good host, Therese gave us information about local bakers and some eating establishments which were excellent. We would certainly go again, the weather was in our favour, which was another bonus

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at James's caravan. The views are stunning and the area is situated within easy reach of various other attractions and places to visit. Would highly recommend.

Prettig verblijf in een fijn huis. Voorzieningen van Cameron House zijn ook zeer prettig.

This was our second year and we love it even more. Amazing location with 5 star facilities.

Wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay here, perfect location and great space to be in.
