I stayed for a month, and the apartment was great. It was so lovely to sit at the open windows overlooking the canal, the bed was very comfortable, I had everything I needed, and it's a short bike ride to anywhere. The tour of the upstairs was fascinating! Good to know: Part of the beauty of this place is that it's near the center, in the old section. That means there are canals everywhere, it has tons of character and history, and it's easy to get anywhere on foot or by bike. It also means that it is near a touristy area. Don't let that stop you! I don't like the hordes of tourists at all, but I was happy here. I simply rode a few blocks away at the busiest times to escape. And Herengracht itself in front of the building isn't crowded. Sure, canal tour boats glide by, but they're fun to watch. The couch is comfy, the chairs are less so, but two people can enjoy the couch. The kitchen is a little bit worn, but it was clean and served my purposes (I did not cook). I would return!

The house fits well the description and was easy to find. A bus stop only 4 minutes of walk and also there’s a supermarket with 7 minutes of walking. The place was clean, cozy and the cat is also really cute!

Charming house in a lovely neighborhood, equipped with everything we needed and lots of space (indispensable if travelling with two teenagers). We very much enjoyed the tastefully decorated kitchen/ living area. The communication was great throughout, Vincent and Michiel were very friendly and helpful and gave us plenty of advices what to do and where to go. We had a great time touring the area and the house was the perfect base for discovering Rotterdam (the city center is just a 15 minute bike ride away) and many other places in beautiful Zuid-Holland.

Toller Urlaub in sehr gemütlichem und geräumigen Haus! Charmant eingerichtet und bequeme Betten. Schöner Gartensitzplatz. Strand und Stadt mit Fahrrädern super erreichbar und Busstation um die Ecke. Ruhig, wenn man mal von den Möwen absieht…;-). Pieteke war jederzeit sofort erreichbar und hat sich auch aktiv immer wieder nach uns erkundigt. Super WLAN für unsere Teenager! Vielen Dank, Piteke! This house is ideally located just a 10-15 minute walk from the train station, providing convenient access to Amsterdam Central, Rotterdam, and the airport. It's family-friendly, stocked with plenty of toys for kids, making it a great choice for families. While the property offers a peaceful escape from city life, it's still close enough to enjoy urban amenities. However, the barbecue could use some maintenance for better usability. The house features one large bedroom and two smaller children's rooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a washing machine, creating a cozy atmosphere that truly feels like a home away from home.

Vanwege werkverplichtingen moesten we drie nachten verblijven in Alphen. In plaats van een hotel kozen wij voor deze airbnb vanwege de ligging, de omliggende goede faciliteiten en de foto's. De foto's komen goed overeen met de werkelijkheid. Yvette zorgde met haar prachtige woning en vriendelijkheid dat we ons toch even thuis weg van huis voelden. We komen graag terug mocht dit nog een keer nodig zijn.

Linda‘s house is absolutely gorgeous! The pictures actually don’t do it justice. The house was impeccably clean and had everything we needed for a stay with young children. We especially enjoyed the trampoline and the many toys. Thank you Linda!

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Woche im Herzen von Utrecht, komfortabel in einem historischen Schmuckstück. Der Gastgeber hat sich sichtbar Mühe gemacht und wir haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt.

We five had an excellent stay. Photos shown are accurate. We asked for a photo of the kitchen which was sent to us. Ground floor has kitchen, living room, and toilet under the stairs. Second floor has two bedrooms and a washroom with shower/bath but no toilet. Third floor is a bedroom. The place was reasonably clean and the beds were reasonably comfortable. Heating worked well once we figured out the thermostat. Kitchen has plenty of dishes/glasses/cutlery, etc. Small refrigerator. Bathroom was clean, and plenty of hot water. Back yard was very nice. Parking on the street was free. Streets are very narrow in the neighborhood. Very quiet. We walked to the Overveen train station to take the 20-minute train ride into Amsterdam to avoid hastle of driving and parking, but would drive to nearby Zandvoort, which is a great beach town. Nearby stores. Two bedrooms on 2nd floor had no dressers or suitable wardrobes, which would be nice to have.

Wir haben uns in dem wundervollen Haus von Steven und Elli sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus war sehr sauber und super ausgestattet. Ruhig am Wasser gelegen waren alle Voraussetzungen erfüllt um einen erholsamen Urlaub zu ermöglichen. Wir wurden herzlich von Elsbeth empfangen und die Übergabe erfolgte Reibungslos und Ausführlich. Der Kontakt mit Steven und Elli war sehr freundlich und alle Fragen wurden schnell beantwortet. Da Steven und Elli ebenfalls in Urlaub waren, stand eine nette Karte und ein Willkommensgruß auf dem Tisch. Wir können die beiden als Hosts nur empfehlen und kommen jederzeit gerne wieder.

Martine’s house was lovely! It was perfect for our group of 7 including kids. The location is great - nice walk to the main square in Delft, very close to TU Delft and the Royal Delft Museum and a quick drive or walk from the train stations. Martine and her children vacate the home for guests so we felt right at home in the lived in space! It’s a beautiful old, but updated home in a quiet, charming neighborhood. Our kids loved playing the play station and spending time in the shared park off the backyard, we enjoyed using the sauna, we were able to make homemade dinner in the kitchen, and we liked sharing the space with their cats since we were missing our dog at home! Martine is very kind, communicative and laid back — it was easy to be in her space and get in touch with her for local recommendations or questions. She even left drinks for us and told us to make ourselves at home with what we needed in the house! We used it as a home base to travel to The Hague and Rotterdam too.

We have been to Utrecht several times. This was one of our favorite AirBnbs. We would return in a heartbeat. Enjoyed being along the canal. The apartment is actually much more quaint and attractive in person than what the photos indicate. There is a bit of a walk to the center of the historic district but quite manageable and enjoyable.

Fijn mooi rustig huis met voldoende ruimte om in te verblijven - ook met in ons geval 5 volwassenen. Mooi ingericht en alles is aanwezig

We really loved our stay at Ilaria’s place! The house is gorgeous, the location very convenient and the host is extremely helpful and understanding. We stayed here as a family and the kids were also allowed to play with some of the family’s toys, which they really loved. Would highly recommend!

Marie's place was outstanding and we had a great stay. It is super quiet and comfy, shops with everything you need nearby, calm yet close to the center. Would love to come again!

Wir waren 3 ältere Frauen, welche die Unterkunft von Maren gebucht haben. Uns hat die sehr ruhige Umgebung äusserst gut gefallen, vor allem, dass wir nachts ausgezeichnet schlafen konnten. Auch wenn wir von der Central Station 15' mit der Tram fahren mussten und dann 5' zu Fuss, war das für uns absolut kein Problem. Wir haben nicht in der Unterkunft gegessen, aber es wäre alles vorhanden gewesen, um Mahlzeiten zu kochen. Allgemein hat alles gut geklappt und wir würden die Unterkunft jedem empfehlen.

Een heerlijk en sfeervol huis waar je je meteen thuis voelt. Heerlijk van Delft genoten maar ook van de sfeervolle woning waar we ons prima bij de kerstboom hebben vermaakt.

Dirk ist ein sehr netter und bemühter Gastgeber! Die Wohnung hat sehr viel Charme und ist gut gelegen! 5 Gehminuten vom Kern entfernt. Amsterdam war in ca 40 min - mit der Linie 320 bis Amstelstation und dann noch kleines Stück mit der Bahn weiter erreichbar.
