Super cute cottage. Everything was as described. We were well aware of the tricky access to the cottage down the driveway and they weren’t lying, so be prepared for a workout especially coming back up. They’ve done their best to provide items to assist with this. Host was easy to communicate with and friendly. We loved the hot-tub. Lots of games to choose from upstairs. Overall would recommend this cottage! Thankyou!

Had a great stay at nicks place. Relaxing and very peaceful. It has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing getaway with your loved ones. Especially enjoyed the view of the lake from the hot tub. Everything was very clean and organized. Nick was very responsive with any needs throughout the stay. Thank you for being a great host we will definitely be back!

Our stay at Michal place was excellent. Great place, very comfortable, jacuzzi and sauna were just what we needed. Water was great for kayaking and fishing , not the best for swimming. but in September swimming is not the best anyways. It would have been great is kids had balls or board games to play with. So next time we will make sure to bring some along. Other than that it was wonderful.

Enjoyed our weekend away at Aaron's place. Beautiful peaceful surroundings and easy to access hot tub. Will definately go back again!

If you're looking for the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is your place. We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home. It was just as described - and even better in person. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer. Thank you for your hospitality, Lorie and Dean! We look forward to coming back here. :)

Words cannot describe how impressed we were with Laughing Moose. The minute I walked in the front door I felt I could live here for ever. The incredible views, the spacious kitchen the stylish little pieces of decor make this place comfortable, relaxing and luxury. Janice pays attention to every little detail to ensure we had a fabulous time! From the selection of quality glasses, crockery and cooking utensils to the games and puzzles ( we completed a full jig saw puzzle between us) we had everything we could possibly need and much more. Even a thoughtful and delicious blueberry pie to welcome us !! We were visiting from Australia and planned this weekend with our two sons and families for a getaway together. It couldn’t have been more perfect and we made such fabulous memories. So much space for all 8 of us plus the 2 dogs! I can’t thank you enough for this special visit! My fiancee and I wanted a place where we could experience winter with our 14 month old son. This cottage was perfect. It's on a beautiful, quiet, large piece of property. There was so much snow on the ground but we were still able to enjoy ourselves! There was a massive snow storm coming so unfortunately we had to end our visit early. The inside of the cottage is set up beautifully and has everything you should need. Our son is just learning to walk and had a blast zooming around the main floor. Even though we had to leave early we still enjoyed our stay and would love to check it out again. Luke, Kelce, Grady

Davids place was beautiful and made for an enjoyable stay for our group visit. He was responsive and provided all additional details both in our chats as well as leaving a small booklet in the cottage itself highlighting places of interest nearby. The firepit and the gazebo are the most impressive parts of the property. Wifi coverage inside the cottage was fantastic and was very useful for any further research since the cellular network coverage is spotty at best. Bon Echo is just about a 20 minute drive away and there are more places within a 1 hour radius though we chose to mostly have a leisurely time on the property itself. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet, private fun time in the middle of nature.

Barry has a nice place with a peaceful and spacious dog park. We had a great time with our dogs—they loved playing in the dog park and enjoyed hiking on the nearby trail. Barry always responds quickly and has simple check-out rules.

A lovely and relaxing cottage in a serene landscape. Truly enjoyed our stay and hope to return back one day.

It was our second time staying at this cottage, and both times in the winter. It’s been 3 years since we came here before, and a few things had some general wear, like the outdoor transport wagons etc. But it was mostly the way we remembered it. Some issues with the tv, dvd set up, ( we couldn’t locate the dvd remote or find the Xbox.), but we LOVE this cottage and the hosts are so responsive and welcoming and have made the kabin’s interiors so magical and thoughtfully considered. Even though it was a very snowy wintery stay, there was still lots to do in the area. Our favourite spots are the sculpture forest, the wolf Center, and a day trip to Bancroft! Highly recommend this magical spot.

Everything that we could possibly need was here. We came to the area for snowmobiling and it was beautiful. Easy access to trails, pretty much just at the end of the road. The cottage was clean, fully stocked kitchen pots, pans, Everything. Views were beautiful, neighbors quiet.

I can’t say enough positive things about our stay here. It was truly an escape that we got to experience. Great hosts, great place, great atmosphere! The only knock I think I have is that the photos do not do justice!! This place was homey and beautiful, not to say the photos aren’t that but they don’t do it justice! We will surely be back if we’re in Bancroft again!!

My husband and I and our 2 kids stayed at Amanda's for a week stay. It was a lovely cottage, very comfortable and cozy on a beautiful lake. Having access to kayaks canoe, paddle boat made the stay great, along with the hot tub was a great bonus. The cottage instructions were helpful to better plan the trip, and Amanda and Cindy were very responsive. A lovely stay for some rest and relaxation with family.

We stayed here for the weekend, attending the Bonnechere Cup Snowmobile races in Eganville. Only 13 minutes from the track! Comfortable, cozy private accommodations- definitely recommend this AirBNB!

This cottage was the absolute perfect place to enjoy some down time as a family! The cottage was clean, well equipped and located on a beautiful, quiet beach. Everything we needed was provided and more! We enjoyed playing soccer on the large sandy beach, swimming, fishing, board games, campfires and watching movies in the evening. The kids and parents loved it!

My family of 11 (parents, grandparents, siblings, kids) had a lovely stay over Thanksgiving weekend. The cabins were so well stocked with everything you could possibly need for cooking etc, and Janet was quick to respond to any concerns and questions we had during our stay. The weather was lovely, the cabins were so charming and comfortable, and we couldn't have asked for better weather. We would absolutely consider coming back again.

This was our first time staying here and using Airbnb. We had a great stay and would definitely come back again to explore the area more! Everything in the home is comfy and cozy!

This gem tucked on the Madawaska River is ideal for many reasons: - the cabin is situated on a small hill overlooking the flowing river, it is peaceful and beautiful, cosy and cute. - it is located in an area that is great for those looking for a little wanderlust/adventure close by - Tooey's Lake & Lake Clear were the nearby lakes that were great for day trips! - and the cabin itself is very clean, well equipped for making meals, and super comfortable - the mattresses were amazing, plush and comfortable. Luka is a terrific host, attentive, quickly responsive, and added some nice touches to our stay (provided wood for our fires, and dropped off some extra essentials that we needed). Keep in mind to bring your linens, and that swimming is not ideal for those with mobility issues, although, for those more experienced swimmers, it is a great spot to enjoy the water. We will be back, thanks Luka! 5 Stars all around.

our stay at the Lazy Bear Lodge was great! it was such a peaceful getaway, surrounded by nature and wildlife. We had an issue with the tv the first night and it was fixed the next morning once we had let the host know! The welcome package and videos included were super helpful for getting to know the property and how to use the wood stove. Some of the kitchen utensils were dirty when we arrived but that was an easy fix and about where the list of downsides ends. I would definitely recommend booking this place for a nice getaway!

What a way to spend Christmas week! Perfect location on what felt like a private lake, beautiful views from the cottage and deck, toasty warm thanks to the excellent wood stove, very comfortable beds - basically all the amenities we needed for a low-key, winter-wonderland Christmas. We kept saying it felt like we ordered it through Hallmark - our host even decorated for the holidays! Definitely more winterized cottage than a winter home (as advertised) and some of the core amenities (like water pressure) reflected this, but nothing was an issue for us, particularly since that's what we wanted. Overall a very authentic, rustic, extremely comfortable experience. The roads are not for the faint of heart in dicey weather, but as long as you have winter tires, all-wheel drive and you don't have to get anywhere on a schedule while you're waiting to get plowed out, you'll be fine. An outstanding experience in every way and we will definitely be booking again
