We really enjoyed staying at Tracey‘s house which is a great starting point for exploring Tongariro National Park! The house is well equipped and very clean.

Phenomenal view in a lovely location just outside of the main Taupo town area. The sunset was magical and we also enjoyed some star gazing at night. Would definitely choose this place again if I return to Taupo.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in dem Bootshaus. Es ist sehr gut ausgestattet und das Frühstück ist sehr lecker. Wer das Tongariro Crossing machen möchte, erhält viele hilfreiche Informationen von den Gastgebern. Ausserdem konnten wir Kayaks ausleihen und einen wunderschönen Fluss hinauf paddeln. Wir können das Bootshaus sehr empfehlen. Wir danken Barb und Mike für ihre Gastfreundlichkeit.

Jenny is very welcoming and generous - we enjoyed her fresh eggs, garden vegetables and delicious shortbread. We found this such a relaxing spot with views of the beautiful hills & grazing sheep. Just 40 minutes to Tongariro park. Everything needed to cook a meal and enjoy it on the deck. Highly recommend!

Pleasantly surprised to find the place nicer than the photos. Very comfy bed, with great curtains for a much needed sleep in.

Has the basics you need for a few nights that you would expect at a holiday park. Doesn't have a luxurious feel that some other cabin homes do though, but it's reflected in the price.

Schönes Tiny House in ruhiger Umgebung; modern und sehr sauber; gut geeignet für Ausflüge zum Tongariro National Park (ca. 40 min Fahrt); wird im Hochsommer nur wahrscheinlich sehr warm im Tiny House

The view of lake Taupo from Jade’s place was amazing! It was very peaceful, we loved sitting on the deck in the evening looking at the lake enjoying a glass of wine! The suite is very spacious which was nice. It was a great spot to stay and enjoy Taupo( a 5 min drive to the town and lakefront) and to do day trips to Rotorua.

Nikki’s place was a peaceful retreat. Very quiet and lovely surroundings. We liked the closeness to the river walk. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We’d stay again, for sure.

Jolene’s Airbnb was beautifully clean, well equipped, and had lots of thoughtful touches. She was also a very friendly and responsive host. Thanks so much for having us :)

Wonderful place to homebase for a trip around Taupo and the surrounding area. Waking up to the gorgeous views of the lake each morning was such a treat. The room was cozy and comfortable and had all the amenities we needed to make our stay a great one. Elizabeth and Jeremy were super responsive and friendly hosts. Highly recommend for any couple or single person looking to stay in a lovely spot!
