Big enough for every of us, open view face to the golf course that we are going to play next morning, too short to enjoy our stays as we've been busy to finish our golf trip in only 2 days inTaupo (Kinloch). Looking forward to book here again when I have a chance in the future :)

Charming, and large house, amazing views of the lake from the upstairs bedroom. Quiet neighborhood, comfortable beds and full kitchen. We enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very responsive. Enjoy!

We stayed for one night while travelling down the North Island. The house was easy to access and was fully fenced which was ideal as we have a dog and 2 young children. The place was clean and tidy and was family friendly.

Lovely large old villa. Well insulated with great heating and cooling ammenities. Large rooms with very comfortable beds, even the bunks have quality mattresses. Very clean throughout. We only stayed a short time but would love to come again and be able to enjoy the outdoor space and lounging, it’s very large, private with large gardens and trees.

Great overnight stay thank you. Very peaceful and everything was exactly as in photos so perfect. Handy to the beautiful lake where I had a really lovely evening swim and walk. Kuratau is a lovely, special spot.

We had a great stay here while we were visiting for the Tongariro Alpine crossing. Very comfortable, and loved the secluded feeling and the fireplace! Was perfect for recovering after the hike.

The lodge was everything we needed for a boys weekend away. Will be planning to go back in the future

Great home for families with good sized bedrooms and bathrooms. The living space was very comfortable, and the addition of a range of family boardgames was great. The home is set in a quiet tranquil area overlooking forest/bush which provided lovely walks. Easy 10mins walk to Carrotland which is an an awesome adventure playground and activity area with pump track, bike tracks, playground etc. Our 7yr old loved it. We had some issues with running water when we arrived but Charlotte was super responsive and helpful and it was all resolved within an hour...and Charlotte provided a wee gift basket (nibbles and wine) in acknowledgement of our being slightly put out. Charlotte was very thoughtful and responsive in managing the whole issue. We will absolutely stay again. It was a lovely comfortable home.

What a great house and location for a weekend away! We had a great time with the lake and mountain biking on our doorstep and other cool activities close by.

Simply the best! The views are glorious and the house is warm, welcoming and beautifully decorated. Belinda is the host with the most, providing us with early check in and was generous with towels and bathroom necessities. We (party of 5) are road-tripping down to Queenstown from Auckland (Australia), airbnb’ing all the way and we are certain that Taupo (Belinda’s) will remain the crowd favourite. We stayed 2 days at Rud and Danni‘s place and we could have stayed easily longer. The nice cozy house has everything what you need for a short or longer stay. It is spacious and has a nice woodstove. The house itself is 100years old, and this you can see. I find it very charming and authentic. Next to the house is the nice mangewhero forrest walk. I can definitely recommend a stay at their place.

We had a lovely stay here in Ohakune with friends. The fireplace and the shower were both amazing. We made some lovely memories here and the place was as described. Thank you for having us.

Stunning view of Mount Ruapehu as you drive to Ohakune! Great region to explore or rest for the night! Kate has a guestbook with everything you need to know about her place, recommendations of where to eat, and what to explore in the area. We needed a night’s rest before driving to Auckland all the way from Wellington, and I’m glad we chose her place. 5 stars!

got to spend a couple of nights here for our Tongariro Alpine Crossing hike! Great location, just a few minutes away for restaurants but yet peaceful and quiet. The spa was very nice after the long hike!

I stayed in Kosbys Cottage for 2 weeks in the New Zealand summer to hike in Tongariro National Park. The cottage was a large space for a solo traveler but provided a nice kitchen with adequate pots, utensils, and so forth for meal preparation. It was a very pleasant space to relax in after a long day of hiking, and rest days were pleasant with a large sofa for lounging and large dining room table for working and eating. Notes for future guests: the New World grocery in Ohakune is large enough to shop when you arrive; the front door was locking automatically every time the door closed so I was very careful to keep the key with me at all times to prevent lockout; read the cottage information on the refrigerator for helpful tips. I used the woodstove early in my trip when the nights were cold and it kept the cottage warm and felt like part of the adventure. Sara was responsive to my questions. I would stay here again for a long time.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and well-equipped property. The house was spotless, cozy, and perfectly located—close to town yet peaceful with stunning views. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the outdoor area was great for relaxing. One highlight was the spa pool—a great addition to the property. However, the water felt a bit over-chlorinated, which meant we couldn’t stay in for more than 10 minutes at a time. That’s just a small detail in an otherwise perfect stay, and I’m sure it’s something that can be easily adjusted. Overall, we highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Ohakune. It’s a wonderful spot, and we would happily return in the future!

Beautiful location looking towards Ruapehu - so majestic! Loved staying in a Yhurt!

When we arrive at the house, it has exceeded our expectations. It has everything we need for the stay. Very beautiful view of the whangamata bay. The golden hour was breathtaking and we really love this. It was a very nice to spend my birthday in Tania’s home. The whole house was very lovely and spacious. Minimalistic style but very modern. It can fit a whole group but really enjoyed it still with my two friends and my dog. The hot tub with the view has the cherry on top. Tania was responsive with all our queries. I cant explained further more the place. All we know is that we enjoy the house and all its perks in it. Very very much recommended for taupo staycation ❤️

This property is stunning, very cute and matches the pictures. I would totally stay again! Also the communication with Alana was great, fast and efficient.

Excellent home located very close to town and not too far from the national park. The home was very clean and well decorated. Very easy to find and get inside and the host was always very responsive and willing to help with questions about some of the things to do nearby. Would highly recommend staying here!

The Pumice house is one of the most creative places I’ve stayed on Airbnb. Evan’s tiny house is a perfect balance of design and utility. There was always a fun detail to explore, I especially loved the glass reveal that showed the inner workings of the construction. The house is cozy, with a peaceful fish pond at the front patio that makes it feel secluded from the surrounding neighborhood. The rooms were quite spacious and heated pebble bathroom floor was very nice. Evan was incredibly kind and communicative. He was always available if we had questions and just a really personable guy!

Great location to do the Tongariro Crossing. Hot tub was perfect after a long hike. David was a wonderful host.
