Simply spectacular! The loaner car was parked generally near the ferry when we arrived at 10:30am; easy to find. The studio is minutes from Oban central and has a harbor view, with a beach across the street. Everything was comfy and efficient, and Amanda responded quickly to questions and offered tips and recommendations. The beds have individually adjustable head and feet areas! The shower was hot. Toast and muesli options were available for breakfast with coffee and tea. We were able to keep the car past checkout, then all we had to do was repark it “in town” before getting back on the ferry.

Lucie's place is amazing, I felt at home the whole time. It's very close to the beach, but it was hard to leave the house as it was so homey! We came back from the beach to enjoy the sauna, which is a huge plus. 10/10 experience, we'll be back :)

We were so impressed with Pura Vida by the Sea. Deborah’s lovely home is at the top of our list, as it was wonderfully clean, comfortable and cosy. We noticed the special touches and attention to detail - even an apron supplied in the kitchen! We only stayed two nights and would have loved longer. Beds are extremely comfortable, decor is lovely and the view of the bay is glorious! A very quiet home and handy to the beach walkway. We did not get around to using the outdoor bath but it looked very inviting! We highly recommend staying in this home.

Lovely place to stay - so relaxing. Grant and Marianne are wonderful hosts. They went beyond most hosts - provisions in the fridge and range of teas on the shelf! Highly recommend staying with them

Cheryl's place is the perfect place for a relaxing break. Lovely walks along the waterfront or just sit back and watch the beautiful views from the whole living area and main bedroom. Only noise you hear is the sea as you are so close. The house is set up with everything you need for a longer stay, I stayed 4 nights. Has many things I did not make use of this time as the evenings were a little cool (but lovely and warm inside - woodburner and heatpump) but next time I will try them out. The bbq, outside fire and huge deck area would be fabulous on a sunny evening. I will definitely be back again.

Me and friends had the best stay, being right on the beach was exactly what we needed! Had everything we needed, we all loved that it had a fire pit plus beautiful views of the sea! Will definitely come stay again!! Was quite an old place but made it more homely we were outside most the time as the weather really out it on for us! But love an old batch/crib! Thanks again

Sara was truly amazing! Our accommodation changed at the tenth hour and Sara was able to help immediately. It’s a really funky house and we were very comfortable. We might have left a lot of crackers for the next people by accident! THANK YOU!!

Would totally stay again - my husband and I came here to refresh from camping for a while. Everything was so clean, the bed was comfy, the environment was peaceful, definitely go to gemstone beach! A good off-the-beaten track in NZ stop. Host was also kind and helpful - thank you! ❤️❤️❤️

Absolutely perfect for us and our adult son. The unit was like brand new, impeccably clean, minimalistic modern presentation and a perfect ocean view. Whilst we did not get to use the ocean front deck (weather), it would have been awesome for enjoying a GnT (next time as we definitely intend to return). 100% recommend.
