My family of four stayed at Nyna's to attend a wedding over the Labour Day long weekend and enjoy some relaxation time at Rathtrevor Beach. The cabin had an absolutely perfect location for our purposes. It is an easy 20-minute walk to the beach, but we also drove to Rathtrevor whenever the kids insisted on bringing an excessive number of toys to play in the sand. The cabin itself was exactly as described and pictured. We were not entirely sure of our check-in time due to needing to pick up supplies on our way to the cabin, but Nyna still stuck around to welcome us in person upon our arrival and give us a personal tour of the place. She was an extremely responsive and helpful host. We would highly recommend her place to anyone wishing to stay in the area. Thank you, Nyna!

What a wonderful spot! We will return 100%. It was so clear that this cabin was intentionally put together with love and not just thrown together. The linens and furniture were really nice quality. The animals were absolutely lovely. The property was beautifully maintained. The signage and directions were very clear. The hot tub was perfect temperature.

Judy’s cabin was a great place to stay. Clean, comfortable and great location. It was spacious for our family. It’s right across from the pool/gym, a short walk to mini golf and the beach. Judy was very attentive and responded quickly to messages. Thank you Judy! We look forward to staying again 😊

Gayle and Lee were amazing hosts!! We were greeted by the hosts at check-in and they had already set-up for us the woodstove fire place. The room was immaculate, with a comfortable bed and spotless floors. What really stood out to us was all of the personal touches from the freshly baked sourdough bread with butter and jam to a folder full of recommendations to build your own personalized itinerary. Unfortunately on the night of check-in my partner got the stomach flu. We informed the hosts and they leaped into action to help us in every way possible. They provided us with medication and disinfection to prevent myself from getting sick as well. They also graciously offered us an extra complimentary night for my partner to rest. We can't wait to come back!!

From the moment we arrived until we left, we were enchanted by the serene ambiance and thoughtful hospitality. The cabin is a sanctuary of tranquility. It offers the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. One of the standout features of this cabin is the bed; the mattress is incredibly comfortable, and the bedding is soft and cozy. But what truly sets this Airbnb apart is the incredible host, Judy. Her warm and welcoming demeanor made us feel right at home when we arrived. Judy was always available if needed, ready to provide recommendations or assistance with anything we required.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The location was peaceful, quiet, and exactly what we were hoping for—a true retreat. Arriving to find the fire already going was such a cozy and thoughtful touch, and it made us feel right at home immediately. The care and detail that went into creating such a beautiful space did not go unnoticed. Everything was perfect, and we truly appreciated how welcoming and relaxing the environment was. We’re already talking about coming back one day. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

Willos place was great. Very homey and comfortable, felt like staying at a friends house. Super cozy for our winter long weekend getaway. Loved the wood fire stove. Was definitely a rustic environment and felt like a cabin, which was perfect for us and our dog. There was no full oven, but used the cooktop and BBQ lots and has some amazing meals. Great place to decompress for a couple days, was super quiet and private.

We had an amazing experience during our stay! Wendy, our host, was incredibly responsive and maintained great communication throughout our visit. The place itself was absolutely beautiful, providing a perfect backdrop for our time with family and friends. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and hassle-free, which made everything even more enjoyable. We would definitely love to return for another vacation! Highly recommend!

The cabin was as advertised. Rooms clean and kitchen/sitting area comfortable. Great little deck. Neighborhood quiet and a quick walk to the beach. Douglas was friendly and let us park our bikes in his garage. Definitely recommend checking out this cute cabin and we hope to be back again.

Raquel was an amazing host! She is so friendly and very easy to communicate with. I felt like home at her place. It’s such a beautiful and peaceful location, perfect for those who love nature, ocean and lots of hiking. Everything is within a walking distance from the place. I managed without a car and I absolutely loved it. I’ll definitely come back. It was one of the best airbnb experiences for me! I highly recommend to rent this place if you are single, or a couple travelling with your lovely pet companion.

Brian and Shannon are some of the best hosts I've ever met. They have exceptional hospitality, are super cool and are realizing such a stunning vision of their property. Hosting a pizza night was an unexpected treat and got to meet other guests. It is a slice of heaven. From the sauna and cold plunge to the hot tub and fire pit and bbq to the wonderful setting nestled in trees this place exceeded expectations. I biked from Vancouver with the Sunshine Coast connector for one cheat leg. It's not that hard to get to and loved having my bike to explore. Go to Emily's lake for a trail run. Also as a solo female traveller I felt very safe. Recommend and hope to be back.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cute cabin. What a special spot! We enjoyed exploring the inlet with the canoe provided and exploring some of the local hikes. Be sure to try to the local Mexican Restaurant. We loved the seclusion and quiet this cabin provided with easy access to any groceries or other amenities we might need.

Very comfortable bed, good projector for watching movies at night with a beautiful view into the forest behind it when you raise it up. There are 3 dogs on the farm, who are working hard to protect the animals and family, they will bark but they are good dogs so dont be scared. Owner is very friendly and accommodating but also gives you your privacy. Very easy to find and owner provides directions aswell, I highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Powell River

We have a 15month old puppy! She was completely welcome at Darren’s. The property is surrounded by woods, making dog walks a truly lovely experience. The property is 15 mins from everything in Parksville so easy peasy in that regard. We loved our visit!

Neo & Sky's place is a great small oasis in the Forrest, with lots of love for small details and cozy cabins. We had a great stay! The open kitchen concept and showers give it a natural touch, though I guess when it gets colder it could be more inconvenient. hence, perfect place for the summer months!

The cottage is very cute and clean with a nice, private patio. The kitchen has everything you could need. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at Amy’s place! We travelled with our besties and all felt so at home there. Amy had a fire going for us upon arrival so the cabin was nice and cozy. The kitchen was well stocked, the bathroom was lovey and the beds were comfy. We loved the sauna and spent hours staring out at the ocean. We will be back. Thank you so much Amy!!

Patti & Corrine’s place was exactly what we were looking for. You have a wonderful view of the ocean through the trees. Though there are other houses around you, it felt very private. There cottage is surrounded by trees & open grass to walk around. Waking up & ending the day to the sounds of birds was beautiful. We even saw a fawn on the property. They do have two cats which we only saw once & they were very friendly. The beach is a 2 min walk down a quiet street. The cottage itself is my dream home. It’s simple but homey. We loved the personal decor & book selections about the area & wildlife. We slept with the windows open to let in the cool ocean air. In the mornings I stood in the living room watching the sunrise through the giant window. I could have moved into their cottage if it was allowed. It was perfect. Patti was also wonderful at giving suggestions of things to do & explaining the ins & outs of the cottage. I highly recommend staying here! You won’t regret it!

This log cabin was amazing!!! We were shocked at how beautiful the cabin itself and the surrounding area was. Margaret was an incredible host— she was so kind and provided lots of blankets and coffee and snacks and wood for the fire place which was a nice treat. The cabin was super cozy and clean and had everything we needed. The bathroom and kitchen specifically were stocked which was very useful because we were coming from out of town without many things. The property was beautiful and we saw deer and lots of bunnies, and there are dozens of trails to check out within walking distance. Some of the prettiest sceneries I’ve ever seen!! Would definitely recommend this cabin, it was a lot nicer than it even looks in the photos :)

Had a lovely time on Savary- it’s a rustic cabin, but has everything you need. Only note: it is technically beachfront, but there is no beach access on the property, it’s about 8 minute walk away. All together lovely.

Easy check-in and responsive hosts. Spacious and well designed cabin in Madeira Park. Lots of room for 6 people. Very cosy with the wood stove. Lovely treated surroundings. Comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen and great barbecue. Lots of board games and puzzles. Close to several fantastic hikes, including the beautiful Francis Point Peninsula Park. Can definitely recommend staying here!

Beautiful oceanside spot, so peaceful and private, watched the river otters and bald eagles every morning by the floating dock. Perfect place to unwind and unplug. Photos don’t do it justice. Would 1000% recommend!
