If you're out for modern pampering, this is not for you.But if you want ti be alone by the lake, without a shower and regular toilet, but wit a row boat, wood fired sauna and hot tub, compost toilets (but also electricity, full kitchen, cellular coverage and tv) and most if all the amazing beauty around (incl. mosquitoes) memorable, then definitely go fir it. we had a wonderful time.

Viihdyimme 8 aikuisen ja koiran kanssa todella hyvin, oma rauha, kristallin kirkas vesi, hyvät löylyt, palju ja kattavat yhteis ja nukkumistilat tekivät vierailustamme todella viihtyisän ja onnistuneen. Lähimetsät tarjoilivat myös hyviä reittejä ja sieniä ja marjoja.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this cottage! It was clean, spacious, and perfect for large groups. The place felt brand new, and the view of the lake was simply breathtaking. The BBQ area was the best we’ve ever had at a cottage, and we loved having a pool table to enjoy. The host was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. The lake itself was large and beautiful, and rowing there was an unforgettable experience. The hot tub and sauna were also fantastic additions. Highly recommend!

Oli hienolla näköalalla oleva kiva mökki. Marjut oli tosi ystävällinen ja kaikki sujui hyvin. Takkakin oli jo valmiiksi lämmitetty kun tultiin paikan päälle. Jos asioi Puumalassa kyllä suosittelen vuokra mökki sieltä!

Une expérience inoubliable! La maison est construite dans un style typiquement finnois, incluant une grande terrasse, un sauna, une cuisine avec tout le nécessaire et trois lits. Nous étions venus à 5, et le séjour était très agréable. Anne nous a très bien accueillis et nous a tout expliqué au début de notre séjour. Le bateau de pêche et les oeufs frais des poules étaient un vrai plus. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir!

Mökki varusteineen vastasi kuvausta. Paikka oli kuvankaunis ja rauhallinen, saunassa hyvät löylyt ja bonuksena upea näkymä järvelle. Kauniilla säällä aivan täydellinen paikka, kun vietimme aikaa ulkoillen ja ruokailimmekin terassilla.

My family had an amazing weekend getaway at Elena's cottage by the lake. The house is beautiful and had all the amentities we needed and more. The natural surrounding are beautiful and the atmosphere was very peaceful. We would definately stay here again!

Aarre Saimaan sylissä - tunnelmalliset, kauniisti sisustetut hirsirakennukset ja hyvät mukavuudet. Saunan lempeät löylyt, uinti puhtain jaloin ja maisemaan sopivat oleskelu- ja ruokailupaikat kruunasivat kokemuksen. Ja Marja-Tertun sydämellinen vastaanotto selkeine ohjeineen sai tuntemaan tervetulleeksi kesäparatiisiin. Viihdyimme ja suosittelemme!

The cottage is really well equipped and comfortable. The location near the lake is outstanding, pure nature. We spend a great time in this place, highly recommend! 🫶🏻

La casa era esattamente ciò che stavamo cercando: uno chalet in mezzo al bosco, a pieno contatto con la natura, perfetto per ammirare la zona dei laghi. Eravamo proprio su un lago praticamente tutto per noi, abbiamo fatto anche un bel giro in lago con la barchetta a remi (c’era anche il motore ma non l’abbiamo usato) e la sauna tutta per noi! Stupendo!!! La sera mangiare all’aperto nel silenzio è stato meraviglioso. Quando rientravamo in casa accendevamo il camino, bellissimo I bambini hanno apprezzato in particolare le freccette e il molo sul lago. La casa aveva tutte le comodità, anche se il bagno era esterno e biologico: un buco con un secchio sotto, in cui bisognava buttare del concime tra una volta e l’altra, ma era tutto segnalato ed è stato anche divertente! L’unico neo è stata la pulizia, perché la casa non era pulitissima, ma così in mezzo al bosco potevamo tranquillamente sopportare: abbiamo pulito un pochino noi e ci siamo adattati. In generale la consiglio tantissimo!!

Upea paikka omassa rauhassa. Hyvä uimaranta ja rantasauna, ihanat aurinkoterassit. Päämökki hieman ahdas majoittumiseen neljälle, mutta rantasaunalla oli mukavasti lisää nukkumapaikkoja. Kommunikointi oli sujuvaa.

Wir waren drei Nächte zu Gast und dies ist unser erster Finnlandurlaub. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden gerne jederzeit wiederkommen. Es ist ein sehr schöner Ort.

Замечательный дачный дом. Красивое озеро. Близко к границе, легко найти и в то же время очень тихо. Воды в доме нет совсем. В остальном кухня вполне позволяет полноценно готовить. Летом это не будет проблемой. Как и туалет. Дача — это дача. Спальные места хорошие, новые. Теплый пол. Сауна без изысков. Топится хорошо. Очень хороший камин и зона около него. Уютно. Отличное бюджетное решение. Природа чудесная. А. И главное! Очень приятное общение. Юха гостеприимный хозяин. Большое спасибо!

Mökki oli upealla paikalla, todella viihtyisä ja kotoisen oloinen. Ikkunoista aukeni näkymät Puruvedelle. Tulikivi uunin lämpö otti meidät vastaan ja siinä oli mukava pitää tulia myös oleskelumme aikana. Puut sekä uuniin että saunaan olivat valmiina. Sauna oli tunnelmallinen ja löylyt lempeät, terassille pääsi näppärästi vilvoittelemaan. Keittiö oli erinomaisesti varusteltu, kaikki tarpeellinen löytyi. Sängyt ja vuodevaatteet olivat miellyttävät. Mikko viesti aktiivisesti ja ystävällisesti saaden olomme tuntumaan tervetulleelta. Tätä kohdetta voi lämpimästi suositella varmasti kaikkina vuodenaikoina arjesta irtiottoon. Uskon, että vierailemme uudelleenkin.

Ihana paikka rentoutua, kaikki mitä mökkeilyltä voi haluta ja odottaa yhdessä paketissa. Kiitos ihanasta kokemuksesta!

Very cosy and soulful place, where you start to feel like you're on holiday from the first step to the terrace. There is everything you need for perfect stay. Beds are comfortable, living room is new and very nice, with beautiful view on the lake and pines. Few things to make this place perfect - the smallest renovation in outdoor spaces, the smallest tap to wash hands or fruits, and some kind of shower.

Great place to stay! Highly recommend. Picturesque location, perfect place for holiday or small getaway 😊 Very nice and cozy. All needed amenities for great vacation!

The host was incredibly nice and helpful. Going out of her way to assist me, when I realized I had booked the wrong dates while already on my way. But she can arrange the accommodation for me immediately. Many thanks for her. The surroundings were beautiful, and the unforgettable sunrise views made my stay truly special. Additionally, having access to a boat for borrowing added a fun and adventurous element to the experience. I would highly recommend this Airbnb. If you are finding a lakeside cottage in Finland, it is a great choice with no doubt.

I had a wonderful stay at this peaceful cottage. It offers an authentic rustic Finnish experience, complete with a sauna, nearby lake, and a beautiful forest filled with berries and moss. My dog especially loved playing in the spacious yard. The only thing to note is that during the cooler October weather, it took a little time to get the furnace heated up to a comfortable level, so keep that in mind if warmth is a priority. Overall, it was a relaxing and tranquil escape with all the charm of nature right at your doorstep.
