The cabin sits on a beautiful lake. It was very cold and snowy when I was there and it’s exactly what I had hoped for! The cabin interior was great- loved having a king-sized bed. The kitchen was very well-stocked and made it easy to cook every meal every day. Having the electric fireplace made this cozy cabin the perfect place to spend a winter’s day, watching the children playing on the lake.

The place was super cute and home-y! Close to town, but felt private and secluded.

Had a great time fishing for the weekend. Cabin had everything we needed and the owner was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely come back again!

Troy was a great host. Quick response on communication. The place was spacious and clean. Much bigger than in the pictures! We loved the large yard and proximity to water. Will definitely be back!

It was a very quaint little place, like we expected. Plenty of room for two people for a weekend.

We have stayed at the FishTale lodge three times. Every stay has been has been great. Tom wants his guests to enjoy their stay and it is incredibly evident. We look forward to coming back next year!

We stayed at Barbie’s place for a relaxing girls weekend “up north”. Barbie’s place was perfect, cozy and secluded. The home was very clean and looked even cuter than the photos. The view of the lake was stunning. We went in the winter so the fireplace was a very cozy touch and kept us warm all weekend long. Barbie was very responsive and home instructions were very clear. We made dinners at home and we had everything we needed to chef it up in the kitchen. The home smelled like fresh linen and we felt right at home. I would recommend Barbie’s place to anyone looking for a relaxing cabin weekend!

Great, relaxing weekend!!! The cabin was beautiful and very clean!! The cabin had all the amenities needed!!! Absolutely wonderful that they welcome dogs!!!! We had a very great, well needed vacation!!! Thank you Courtney!!!!

We had such a wonderful time. It was quiet and peaceful and so cozy. The place was exactly how it was showed in the pictures. It was easy to navigate and to enter. The host was very sweet and always responded to my messages very quickly! If you’re looking for a weekend getaway this is definitely the place to go!

Such a cute, cozy place to stay! We went with some family friends and our kids… everyone had a great time. I would definitely recommend Jamie’s place if you want a peaceful get away for a weekend ☺️

Would like to say first how great this cabin works for us on our annual ice fishing trip. This is our 4th year staying at Amy’s cabin on potato lake and it was another great time. There were 9 of us and we all had comfortable beds to sleep in and a nice clean cabin to come home to in the evenings. This is not the only VRBO we have rented through the years but will tell you it’s totally our favorite and having Amy as a host only makes it more relaxing . Amy your cabin is perfect for us and you are by far the best host we have run into. If you are lucky enough to get a chance to stay here, Lured Inn bar is half a mile down the road and is a great compliment to the cabin. Good food, good people and great cocktails! Thank you all for memories, and yes we have always come home with a lot of fish!
