We cannot speak too highly of Antje and how she helped us settle in and had great advice on things to do. The house had 270* views looking over Opua and the marina as well as out towards Paihia and Waitangi to the north. The house was very comfortable and had all the amenities necessary. Getting there using the Opua car ferry was a breeze as it’s only a hundred metres up the hill. Thank you Antje and David. Will recommend it to our friends in Australia to come and stay at your fantastic house.

What a fabulous place to stay! A beautiful location overlooking the bay. We saw two orca in the bay on our first night, which was amazing. The accommodation is wonderful. Fabulous furnishings with beautiful sculptures and art on the walls. We arrived to find a selection of wines, chocolates, home-made biscuits and granola, as well as some wonderful ham, cheese, OJ and other useful fridge staples. Communication with Heather was great, with plenty of helpful information about the local area. Absolutely perfect - thank you!

The Loft is a remarkable place! If you are thinking about staying here, don’t delay and book. The Loft delivered, and exceeded, all our expectations! It is immaculate, well equipped and has every amenity you could want for your stay. We used it as our base to explore the Bay of Islands and it was perfectly situated. Evenings spent enjoying the bay view from the balcony and eating yummy food at nearby dinning options. Anita Jane is a fantastic host. Super responsive, helpful and guided us well. One of our best AirBnb experiences!

Alles sauber, leider keine Wäscheleine auf den Zimmern. Man ist gezwungen den teuren Trockner zu verwenden. Das wäre noch zu verbessern. Sonst alles gut zu Fuss erreichbar. Der Preis ist im oberen Segment. Allerdings hat man eine vollausgestattete Wohnung inkl. klimaanlage und geschützen Parkplatz. Im Grunde ein Sorglos Packet Danke

Kiva ja siisti paikka. Pieni sisäpiha oli just sopiva istuu ja nauttii aamuaurinkosta kahvin kanssa, grillatta ja vaikka pelkää oleskelusta! Tracey on tosi mukavaa ja ystävällinen ihminen! Kaikki tarvittama oli olemassa ja olo mukavaa. Suosittelen!😊

Eine tolle Unterkunft in der man sich gleich wie zu Hause fühlt. Die grosszügige Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll und originell eingerichtet und Küche und auch der Aussenbereich ist überkomplett ausgestattet. Die Gartenanlage lädt zum gemütlichen Verweilen ein und die Hühner im Garten von Shelley liefern täglich frische Eier. Shelley ist eine sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin und gab uns gleich am ersten Tag Tipps für den Besuch eines Weingutes in der Nähe von Russel und für eine Segelausflug mit David. Die Unterkunft eignet sich super für ruhesuchende Paare die einen gewissen Komfort schätzen. Auch selber Kochen und BBQ sind ausgezeichnet möglich.

Roy's place is one of the best Airbnb's we have ever stayed in. It is spacious, comfortable and has everything that you could need. The views from the deck are spectacular. With the access to the garden for a BBQ was the icing on the cake.The only criticism is that communication was a little slow.

Great stay! We enjoyed swimming at cable bay and walking around the hills by the ocean. Large room with good amenities ☺️

Hayley had great communication and was pleasant to deal with. I loved the location and how peaceful it was and to top it off I did not have to leave for food as Hayley had already provided a selection of snacks with great selection of drinks suffice enough (sweets, savoury, biscuits, breakfast, juice) and would be one of the best stocled pantrys ive seen in all of the accommodation I have stayed. Simple and elegant.

We miss Jacqueline already and she went out of her way to give us info on what to do and where to go. We honestly did not want to leave. I forgot to get my picture with her! Loved her. The place had lots of extra touches... 🥰🥰🥰

Jo was a wonderful host… yet stays out of your hair if you are worried about that sort of host. Great communicator before the stay as well. Highly recommend her place.

The Motel is an easy walk from the town centre, and the unit had everything we needed. Fixtures are quite dated but clean and functional. Would be happy to stay there again

This property is divine, and we loved everything about it. It’s so thoughtfully curated and Murray and Pam have such a generosity of spirit which is reflected throughout the apartment. The bay views are to die for and the photos in the listing don’t accurately convey how gorgeous they are. We loved the location, privacy and amenities (and very much appreciated the breakfast supplies and snacks provided). We thoroughly recommend this property and would love to return ourselves.

Jane place is exactly as described! Jane has provided everything you would need with a million dollar view 👌 Jane and Graham were both very helpful with local information and recommendations. I highly recommend Jane's place for a stress free vacation!

We stayed 5 nights and it felt like a retreat. It had everything we needed including Tui birdsong, Weka walking across the grass, comfy bed (with a little climb to get to it), big fridge, and gas cooker. We found 2 lovely walks that took us up to a ridge overlooking the Bay of Islands east and west. Just our kind of place to stay. Thank you Robin and Rick.

The apartment is in a great location with excellent views and in a peaceful location. It is well stocked with all the essentials for a long or short stay. Mark was able to give excellent recommendations for a day trip north and for local beaches. We stayed with our family and would highly recommend. It was lovely listening to the ocean and seeing the ever changing scenery. Local shop is 10min walk just along the beach and carries bread and milk, the essential ice cream, great food and takeaways and some great locally produced items.

We loved being close to the beach (5 min walk) and the dive shop (5 min drive) while also having a beautiful, private garden. We enjoyed the hot tub and were very thankful for the laundry area as well!

Superb balcony views from an elevated position. The hot tub was an added bonus. Peter gave us a welcoming run down of how to operate things which was very useful. Really enjoyed our stay.

We ( my parents and myself ) had 4 smashing nights at Paul and Nuttha's place. They were exceptional hosts..friendly, very hospitable and full of all sorts of recommendations for us each day. Nuttha was kind enough to cook a delicious selection of Thai meals for us as well so I'd highly recommend that option. The property is really quite and it was lovely to sit out in our own private courtyard in the mornings and evenings. The garden was lovely. The place itself was great... plenty of space and comfy beds with all the facilities we needed. It was quiet at night as well. The location is great. a short walk from Charlie's Rock and just down rhe road from the river trails and a couple of the historical sites in KeriKeri. I'd highly recommend a stay here.

We had a fantastic stay at Pacific Rendezvous, there were lots of amenities on site and beautiful walks we could access straight from our accomodation. The staff were friendly and the apartment was comfortable and gad everything we needed. We would love to visit again!

Room with a view for sure! It’s right on a very pretty beach, but up a few stairs so there’s privacy. The room is very spacious, it’s good a great little kitchen at one end, and a modern bathroom. There’s a nice patio to sit out on and enjoy the view, would recommend for those wanting a beach space.

Fabulous stay at Tui Cottage. What an incredible place with great amenities and the most amazing view and soundscape. Hot tub also fab. Shops and restaurants 15mins down the hill and 20mins back up. Don’t worry about the driveway - honestly - provided you are reasonably mobile it’s no issue. Just park down by the meter at the bottom of the drive. It’s a little walk up but not too far. Couldn’t fault this wonderful stay! Thank you John (for Bay Stays) and Paul (the owner) for all your welcome and rapid responses to queries we had during our stay.
