What a great place. Brought the family for Thanksgiving. Plenty of room for everyone. Saw 4 bucks the day we arrived. We had fires, fished, played games and relaxed. Kitchen is very well stocked. Love the “second” kitchen. It sure helped with Thanksgiving. The whole house is. Thomas is a great host. Don’t hesitate to book. I bet it’s great in the summer.

Had a great time at Jennifer's place! The home was easy to get to and both check-in/out was seemless and uncomplicated. We love that her place is very family-friendly and provided lots of games and books that entertained our whole family down to our 3-yr-old and even included some necessities for our pups. We definitely enjoyed hanging out at the fenced-in backyard with the dogs and loved the fire pit and hot tub along with the community amenities! Everything was as described and clean and cozy. The property was super clean, cozy and in a great location. Beautiful views of the lake and a private backyard. Interior had all the essentials one might need. Linens were abundant and clean. Bathrooms and kitchen were all upgraded and very nice. Quick drive to the market and a walk across the street for coffee, drinks and food. Also a quick drive to Chinmey Rock. Patrick, the host, was very responsive and always friendly. Definitely recommend. We will be staying here again!

Great location on Lake Lure. Quick access to the central part of the lake. Inside the house is on the small side but outdoor decks provide plenty of space to spread out. Everything you might need to enjoy your lake stay is provided, including the option for an on-site boat to rent. Parking is tight for larger vehicles - would suggest more compact size cars for easier maneuvering on street/parking area.

Will stay here again, great quiet retreat that provided my family of five plenty of space and options for all. Home was welcoming and had items in it that made packing easier. Host was very responsive and accommodating, can’t wait to come back!

Adorable, vintage fisherman cottage on the lake. We loved this little cabin and it's obvious its owner does, too. The cottage is quaint and small but has been very well thought out from extras in the kitchen, plenty of comfy porch furniture, to space efficient furniture in the rest of the home. We also enjoyed the fantastic outdoor spaces and two SUPs. Finally, although the home sits off (two lane) Memorial Hwy, nights were quiet and we felt the location was worth it for the convenient distance to both restaurants and the Ingles. Additionally, the home sits in a wide cove and provides great views. We just loved the well cared for, vintage lake house vibe. It's well kept, too!

We had a great stay here! The amenities were wonderful! Our kids loved the pool and the beach at the lake. Lots to do in this area! Jamie was super sweet and very responsive and helpful! She also makes great recommendations! We would definitely stay again!

Such a great price for this stay. The location is awesome. We had such a fun time! Rumbling Bald did not disappoint. We have a 3.5 yr old and it was perfect for her - the swimming pools, beach with playground, etc The kitchen is minimal and there isn’t a freezer so you have to be prepared to cook with that in mind or eat out often!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Linda and Robb were very accommodating. We felt right at home. Robb made some wonderful recommendations about the resort.

We felt very lucky to find this place in a pinch. Our other air bnb that we booked a month+ ago had frozen water pipes. Tamera responded very quickly to our panicked, last minute booking. The place is immaculate. We had everything we needed. We were grateful for our stay here.

Was a peaceful and beautiful get away. Loft was stunning and well taken care of. Worth every penny we spent of the trip.

The cabin was great! Just as described with comfortable beds, quality linens, fun outdoor toys that kept the whole family entertained. The kitchen has everything needed for a meal, quality grill, and overall 5 stars and would come back as a family of 4 any time. Thanks for an amazing week at the lake!

The Cottage at Lake Lure provided unmatched views and a relaxed and peaceful retreat. Outdoor spaces are beautiful but unfortunately the boat house that was present at the time of booking had been taken down by the time of our stay, reducing the ability to be on the lake. Access to paddleboards and kayaks a plus and the ability to rent a pontoon was a wonderful bonus. Wifi access was spotty and phone service challenging - this provided some challenges to individuals who planned to work a remote day from the booking. Overall a great stay with fire pit, grill, time on the water, and gorgeous scenery.

Well Daniel is an awesome host. He always responded very quickly to any questions. I had the Treetop cottage was a beautiful cozy spot. My family loved it. My kids didn’t wanna leave him. I didn’t wanna leave either but I totally recommend it and the deck is breathtaking. Thank you so much Daniel for the stay looking forward to doing it again

The Five Oaks Cottage was just what we were looking for to celebrate Michele’s birthday. The cottage was very cozy and everything we needed, and nothing we didn’t need. David and Penny were very accommodating and responsive. There was a great boat house, canoe and kayak for our use, at no additional charge. We felt welcomed and right at home. We bought one of the children’s books David had written, and David signed it and personalized it for our granddaughter. Lake Lure is a magical lake, and we are looking forward to returning one day.

Wonderful getaway for the family! The kids had the adventure we wanted away from the city. We had zero allergy issues, a few of us have allergy and asthma challenges and this home was clean and allergen free for us! We spent most mornings with coffee and either board games or exploring, the days on the lake with the kayaks and canoes, then nights around the fire with burgers and s’mores. Wonderful place for our family of 5. Thank you!

Place was beautiful inside and out. My only complaint was that there was no laundry detergent, paper towels, or trash bags. Otherwise the host was responsive and the house was clean.
