Pete and Jill are such incredible people. You can see the love they have poured into their property. They strived to do everything possible to make our stay enjoyable, even though we had so many hold ups in getting to the property and arrived very late. Breakfast was absolutely beautiful and we really were made to feel at home. Thank you both so much!

Felicity and Lew's place was such a great getaway for a few nights. The house inside was just amazing set up. The outside we enjoyed the company of the cows, horses, beautiful King parrots and of course the possums at night. Just had the best time. You must also visit the Witches Garden which Felicity and Lew have done an amazing job of the garden. Felicity and Lew were also very welcoming. would highly recommend this farm stay. WOW – What an incredible stay! I had a special and meaningful weekend planned with close friends, and our time at Victoria’s Barn exceeded every expectation. From the stunning views to the spacious interiors, everything was perfect. The kitchen and dining area were equipped with everything we needed for a big group dinner – not to mention how picturesque it all was! The location offered quick access to town, plenty of space to relax and unwind, and we were even treated to the company of so many kangaroos – a magical touch. Victoria's communication was flawless. She provided a clear breakdown of bedrooms and bathrooms before our arrival, which made planning for the group seamless and stress-free – something I truly appreciated. If you’re looking for the perfect spot for a large group or family gathering, immersed in nature, Victoria’s Barn is it. Beautiful memories are guaranteed here. An excellent location which suits the needs for large groups of people - everyone was able to have their own space across the three floors while also meeting in comfortable communal spaces to hang out together. A great space with a lot of personality and a very responsive team - we lost power during the stay and the Bright Escapes Team was very quick to answer our queries and link to resources to help us out. A short distance from the town made getting around and engaging in what Bright has to offer very easy, but if you're walking or riding be aware that there are two very big hills leading in and out of the property. Would definitely stay there again, a great space for a holiday.

The unit was clean as recently been updated, with everything you need and close locations to shops and easy access to everything.

We had a brilliant stay in Porepunkah and would not hesitate to stay again. The log cabin was set in a beautiful, quaint location and it made for a very relaxing week. Claudia was great with helping us check in and showing us around with the property being walking distance to the town of Porepunkah. Thanks for having us!

Our five nights at Damian and Rachel’s was just what we were looking for: a peaceful getaway in nature. The apartment itself had everything we could want and, even though the weather got up there, our rooms stayed cool. The surroundings are really lovely; it was great to see the chooks walking around and nice to visit the horses and garden. But the standout feature has to be the fact that the property backs on to the State Forest. The trails just behind Oak Gully are well-maintained while still being a little adventurous. Even though there are other walks in the area, we ended up preferring what was literally in our backyard. The scenery and terrain were impressive, and it was fun being able to pick heaps of fresh blackberries (even though they are a terrible pest). Damian was a perfect host; informative and responsive and the rest of the family were super friendly. We really couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommend Oak Gully.

Nicole was a great host. Excellent accommodation for our 2 furry friends. Felt right at home. They loved it as much as we did. Very safe and secure for pets. Nice eateries around and it's a shame that we didn't get enough time to enjoy the area much. Definitely worth a longer stay next time around. Highly recommended.

Stayed here a second time at Barbara's place. It has continued to be a gem in this valley with the clean air and mountains surrounding us. Barbara was very kind, and went out of her way to ensure that you have the best time and feel at home.

We loved our stay at the cottage! The house is comfortable, welcoming and in the most stunning location. Travelling with 2 young kids, there was so much to do - exploring the walnut farm, fishing and kayaking in the river, jumping on the trampoline and playing soccer and basketball! We would love to visit again. Thanks for having us!

Our stay at Moyhu was lovely, Juliana is an amazing host and nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation itself is beautiful, comfy bed, gorgeous styling and we fell in love with the feature tiles! It was very tastefully decorated and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Our pup was welcomed as much as we were, and she loved watching (and barking at!) the neighbouring cows. We highly recommend staying here with Jules, and we'll definitely stay again!

A 'home-away-from-home'. This great BnB is centrally located, just up the road from the IGA, easy to walk to local pubs and restaurants and a fantastic walk along the Murray River. The home is one of the best equipped self-contained accommodation that I have ever stayed in. Everything for the traveller and their family. Dogs also welcome, and all set up for this too! Very comfortable and clean! Definitely worth staying.

Thank you for sharing your log cabin. We had a comfy stay and enjoyed a beautiful sunset view out to the Winton Wetlands in the distance. Beautifully private and peaceful. Great instructions on getting there and we appreciated the clear signage once on the property.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this stunning property! The beautiful home boasts breathtaking hill views, and its cleanliness and amenities exceeded our expectations. Everything was provided to make our stay truly feel like home. The whole family had a fantastic time lounging by the expansive pool on warm summer days. The outdoor shower and BBQ area were additional highlights, perfect for relaxation and entertainment. The spacious house features generously sized bedrooms and exceptionally comfortable beds, ensuring a restful stay. We highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in the high country. Lastly, our host was incredibly friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with, making the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. Five stars, without a doubt!

What a charming and delightful place - the Tuscan style pool was as good as we'd hoped it would be on a 36 degree day! Peter and Jamie are the perfect hosts, so too was Djinni the dog as other reviewers have pointed out. Beautiful gardens (thanks again for the tour!), quiet location, excellent amenities, within walking distance of the rail trail - what more could one want?

a lovely little place ! my partner and i stayed for a weekend to read a new book together and we adored our time here. tab was lovely, the space is clean and cozy and the location is so so peaceful. little greyhound max is also so sweet but im partial to dogs

The property was stunning, a beautiful home on a beautiful farm with cows and free range chickens. Kids and I loved hunting for the chicken eggs each day and the swimming pool was amazing in the dry country heat! Sue provided detailed instructions to find the property which I was grateful for Google maps would’ve added 20 mins onto the already long trip if I didn’t have Sue’s directions guiding me!

Three couples booked the home to attend a friend's 70th birthday, which was in the same street, so the convenience was fantastic. We had a three night stay and loved the home, it provided great accommodation, verandahs for relaxing and the pool was amazing in the hot weather. We were able to walk to local shops, cafes and restaurants so didn't have to use our car at all. The home provided everything, we only needed our beach towels. Thanks Gabrielle for a great weekend, we would recommend your home to others.

This is a fabulous house. The location is brilliant and we loved that we didn’t have to use our car. The river, with the play area was a few minutes walk, and cafes, brewery and shops just across the bridge, a few minutes further. The house itself was perfect for our large group. It’s open, airy, and I loved how the living area opened up to the outside area with huge glass sliding doors. The pool/spa was a lovely addition and it was great to come home after a day out, to enjoy a swim. The kitchen is well equipped, and has basic condiments that you need. The bedrooms are spacious, with comfortable beds. Linda, the owner was extremely responsive and also gave a few tips of local gems. Do not hesitate booking this house, you will definitely not be disappointed. 10/10
