This property is absolutely amazing. Me and my friends had an amazing time. We had booked a chef to cook for us and make us a bbq. It was awesome. The house staff was also very helpful. Everything was clean. We will be back for sure ✨👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

We love this rustic cottage and having access to the private beach! Plus there are a few great beachside bar / restaurants within walking distance. The property staff are very friendly and helpful; they even started a fire for us on a cold night. Only tip for other guests is to bring cooking supplies (oil, salt, coffee, etc.) and toilet paper as well as bath towels, since these weren’t supplied and shops aren’t close by. 10/10 recommend. Already looking forward to the next chance to visit!

The Writer's Patch is a labor of love by Elizabeth, every detail is very intricately and intentionally designed. It's a beautiful place (looks just like the pictures and maybe better due to how fresh the air is that you'll be breathing). I traveled as a solo female traveler and Ramadan (the day manager) and the night manager were very helpful and made me feel very safe. Thank you Ramadan! Elizabete is very responsive, proactive and overall helpful. The kitchen is well stocked with essentials (olive oil, coffee, delicious Rwandan teas, salt, milk) and great amenities (pots, pans, kettle, etc). I would 10/10 recommend. For travel/booking considerations: Ruhondo is around 2.5hrs from Kigali and I would recommend getting there during the daylight to appreciate the beautiful lake view. I stayed at the airbnb for 1 week which was a perfect amount of time to reflect, recharge, read some books, go fishing, hike mount bisoke, go gorilla trekking (all within an hour from the airbnb).

Comme à chaque fois le séjour fut très bien. Il serait intéressant d augmenter la vaisselle proposée ( minimum le nombre de logement proposé 14 au lieu de 6) Mais le reste est très très bien
