A casa é linda, está super bem decorada e com uma paisagem envolvente de tirar o folgo. Acordava bem cedo para me sentar na mesa que está lá fora para me deliciar com a paisagem e com o sossego e calma que essa mesma paisagem nos transmite. Fica a 1,2kms do centro de Tabuaço, que tem vários restaurantes e pastelarias.. Fica ainda relativamente perto de várias localidades, como Armamar ou Moimenta da Beira, Peso da Régua ou Pinhão. O único senão foi anunciar que tem máquina de café e ela não funcionar. A cozinha está equipada e a casa de banho estava limpa. Recomendo e voltarei quando tal me for possível

Nuestra estancia ha sido perfecta. Teresa y Jorge son unos anfitriones maravillosos, que nos han mimado durante toda nuestra estancia. Están siempre disponibles y buscando satisfacer cualquier deseo o necesidas que pudieramos tener. La casa es realmente peculiar y especial, llena de historia y bonita decoración, antiguedades y detalles exquisitos. Niños y adultos hemos estado tan cómodos con la piscina, el clima, la barbacoa, el mobiliario exterior,... que hemos disfrutado más la casa que las obligadas visitas turísticas de la ciudad e la zona. Recomendable al 100%

Petite maison en pierre joliment rénovée. Belle décoration. Beaucoup d'astuces pour rendre fonctionnel un petit espace. Quelques produits alimentaires,pour dépanner, sont à vendre. Village typique, prévoir son ravitaillement.

I would give this place 6 stars if I could. Make time to taste the wine that is made right on property, as well as the small local wineries. I personally found these wines tasted better than the big ones because the wines were made with more passion and heart into the art of wine making. Beautiful home, beautiful place and I hope to come back one day. Recommended to not have a large vehicle as the roads can be quite narrow.

Fantastic stay in Pedro's home from home, Pedro was very friendly and helpful, and the property was just what we wanted for a peaceful and relaxing holiday, and a great location for us to explore the wonderful north of Portugal. Stayed for about 10 days, and enjoyed every minute. Thank you very much to Pedro and his family.

Adorámos a casa e espaço. As fotos não fazem justiça à casa. Excelente espaço para o cão estar no exterior solto. Tivemos privacidade total. Bons trilhos e paisagens à volta para passear. Fomos muito bem recebidos pelos proprietários! Iremos voltar certamente.

Em grupo, habituados a fazer reservas por airbnb, decidimos reservar o alojamento do Sr. Rui. Foi, sem dúvida uma excelente decisão! O alojamento é muito espaçoso, com muito bom gosto, com todos os utensílios necessários, muito limpo e cuidado! Um espaço exterior muito bem preparado e confortável, desde a piscina, à churrasqueira, até às hortícolas! O Sr. Rui, foi incansável desde o nosso primeiro interesse, sempre disponível e preocupado. Aquando da nossa chegada, tínhamos uns miminhos muito saborosos. Sem dúvida, marca positivamente pela diferença o que, nos "obriga" a voltar (e voltaremos com todo o gosto). Obrigado, por tudo, Sr. Rui.

Very beautiful home in the heart of a winery, surrounded by beautiful hills and vines. The home itself was very cozy and accommodating for us as 4 persons. There was a fully stocked kitchen, so we were able to make food for ourselves. The hosts were very friendly and had a lot of recommendations. We didn't use the pool since it was a bit chilly, but it looked well maintained and refreshing for hotter days. I would definitely recommend!

Quinta Do Monte Travesso was one of the best airbnbs I have ever stayed at - it feels like a private oasis located in the beautiful vineyards of the Douro valley with your own pool overlooking the hills. The house is spacious, and the hosts were so kind to provide lots of coffee and food for breakfast, and dropping off fresh bread in the morning. They also recommended a great taxi driver to tour us around the Douro area. Would definitely stay here again and wish we’d had more time here!

La Casa Grande est une maison incroyable, nous avons adoré notre expérience, car oui c’est une expérience! Le chemin pour se rendre à Covelinhas est très escarpé, il faut être prudent lorsqu’on croise des voitures. La piscine est superbe, les chambres sont tous charmantes. Il y a deux petits café à proximité mais sinon on se déplace en voiture. Je recommande fortement.

O Sr. Peter é um excelente anfitrião. Foi sempre muito simpático desde o primeiro contacto. Preocupado e atento, fez com que os meus dias na casa corressem às mil maravilhas!!! A casa é espaçosa e perfeita para 12 pessoas, as camas são boas, tem todas as comodidades necessárias e certamente que irei voltar! Muito obrigada Sr Peter!!

This property is beautifully appointed, with great amenities and a wonderfully peaceful location. It's a great stay close to the Douro Valley and surrounding nature. João was a very responsive and welcoming host, we had a couple of very minor issues on arrival and they were resolved within an hour, exceptional service and hospitality! If you are looking for an authentic getaway in Portugal this property is a fantastic choice.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour logement situé dans un village viticole en montagne complètement pittoresques avec une vue incroyable sur la vallée du Douro.Les hôtes étaient vraiment chaleureux aux petits soins pour nous le logement était magnifique avec ses murs de pierre et décoré avec élégance je recommande sans aucun doute

Huis is helemaal zoals op de foto’s. De tuin en het zwembad vonden wij geweldig, met mooie vergezichten over het dorp en de druivenvelden. De ontvangst was zeer gastvrij en leuk om te ervaren hoe trots de eigenaren zijn op hun woning, de omgeving en hun port. Wat ons betreft helemaal terecht. We kregen leuke tips om te doen, een tour door het huis en de tuin en een welkomst drankje aangeboden. Er zijn overal hoekjes en zitjes waar je de zon kunt opzoeken of juist kunt ontvluchten. De keuken is goed uitgerust en eigenlijk alles is wel aanwezig (en ook voldoende) De slaapkamers zijn erg comfortabel, zeker de twee met badkamer. Het dorpje is erg rustig, zijn onder andere 2 kleine supermarkten, apotheek en wat eetgelegenheden. Op 25 minuten heb je echter volop supermarkten en andere winkels. Het heeft onze verwachtingen overtroffen, de eigenaren zijn zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam, communiceren snel en hebben ons zeer welkom laten voelen.

Un emplacement magnifique avec une vue à couper le souffle ! Il faisait trop froid pour profiter de la piscine, mais le jardin, plein de charme, nous a conquis. La maison est très bien pensée, pratique et parfaitement équipée. Tout est moderne, récemment rénové avec goût. On recommande sans hésiter !

Die superschöne Anlage ist eine Oase im etwas trubeligen Umfeld der Stadt Vila Real. Ins und ihre Leute sind sehr freundlich und extrem nett, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Jeden Morgen wird frisches Brot ans Haus gebracht, toller Service, auch die tägliche Reinigung des Bungalows ist sehr angenehm. Die Gartenflächen sind sehr gut gepflegt, der Pool wird täglich gereinigt, das Wasser ist superklar und erfrischend. Unser Bungalow war geräumiger als es auf den Bildern aussah und durch die dicken Granitwände auch bei 33 Grad Außentemperatur wunderbar kühl. Die Ausflugstipps sind liebevoll gezeichnet und gut durchdacht. Alles in allem hatten wir zu viert eine wunderbare Woche bei Ines. Vielen Dank!

I don't think you could ever tire of the views from Quinta do Fraguil. They're breathtaking - we kept taking just one more photo! It's so special to be able to see so far into the distance and right down to the bottom of the valley. Even the local viewing point didn't match it! From start to finish, Rui was a friendly and really responsive host. He made us feel confident as soon as we had booked that we were going to be staying somewhere special. He turned up to meet us when we arrived and was in really good contact any time we needed to ask him anything before or during our stay. The pool is a total highlight - a good size and really clean. The house itself was also really clean and tastefully furnished. The outside eating area was perfect and made you feel happy to stay 'at home' and cook! We had sunshine every day and warm evenings sitting outside. This is the sort of place that you feel really sad to leave at the end of your holiday and one that you're very likely to visit again.

There are few words to describe the peacefulness and tranquility of the Douro region in general. however, the time we spent in this lovely, comfortable, and welcoming home magnified our enjoyment of the area multiple times. Anabela was such a wonderful host, even providing us with a loaf of bread on the front porch from the local Baker the morning after we arrived. It was a wonderful home, it felt like we'd lived there our entire lives. I really wish I could say more, but I just can't find the words. To summarize, I would recommend this place to anybody, at any time, but I can't help wishing a little bit that my review wouldn't help attract more renters, because in my selfishness, I'd love for this place to always be available to me. 10 stars.

Un accueil chaleureux, Dario n'étant pas présent il a passé le relais à 2 personnes dont la femme de ménage à notre grande surprise d'ailleurs, elle nous a apporté un magnifique pain et confiture maison pour notre arrivée. La maison est très propre est agréable fraiche pour l'été parfait ! Provsende est un petit village typique et agréable. Nous avons toujours peur du regard des gens vis a vis de nos chiens et tout c'est très bien passé, il faut juste s'organiseravec Fernanda la femme de ménage pour qu'elle puisse faire son travaille tout les 3,4 jours les lits et serviette de bain son changer. On a été chouchouté comme dans un hôtel ! Le stationnement y est relativement facile, il faut juste ce faire au clocher les dimanches matins lors de la messe 😉. Merci pour tout !

Studio apartment opens onto garden patio with fantastic views. Dinner and wine tasting provided by hosts (for a fee) was a highlight. We really enjoyed our 2 hour hike through public paths through vineyards.
