Marias Unterkunft ist sehr zu empfehlen. Es ist wirklich schön und gemütlich dort. Alles vorhanden was man benötigt und sehr schön eingerichtet. Die Gegend ist traumhaft und man kann viel unternehmen oder einfach nur in den Weinbergen spazieren gehen. 5 Sterne sind noch zu wenig.

Super appartement avec une belle vue sur le Douro. On a passé un très bon séjour. La petite montée avec les valises quand on arrive en train permet de se muscler un peu les cuisses en plus 🤣

Our stay at Casa Do Arco will be an unforgettable one. The house is beautiful inside and out. Marco & Ana are wonderful hosts eager to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We're already planning our return next spring!

Lovely place. Wonderful pool. Responsive host. Would stay there again - really nice place. Close to many wineries and very enjoyable to relax in the pool and patio. A couple things to note - no soap or shampoo is provided so you have to buy your own. Also don’t leave any shoes or anything outside because neighborhood dogs came to the property each day (jumped over the rock wall) and on the first day they took my son’s hiking boots-we found one on the driveway and assumed the wind blew it but couldn’t find the other shoe. The second day we actually saw the dogs and then saw they had also taken his goggles which we left by the pool and destroyed those as well. So just a tip don’t leave anything outside overnight.

Such a wonderful place and wonderful hosts! It’s remote, too far normally to walk to town, but our hosts did a great job of supplying us with breakfast food and wine, so we were never without the important things. Beautiful place, beautiful views, lovely pool (too cold to use when we went), sauna and workout room. Wineries all around the area. Many thanks to our very responsive and enjoyable host, Tania

We were a group of 3. We travel a lot and we really appreciated all of the thoughtful touches at Ana's place! We drove from Porto and arrived early and Ana was very flexible about allowing us to leave our bags earlier than the check in time. Of the Airbnbs in Portugal, this was our favorite. Do not expect modern decorations but you can count on many comforts that other Airbnbs do not have. Not only is fresh bread delivered each morning but Ana also stocked her kitchen with fresh fruit, milk, juice, sugar, honey, jams, plenty of coffee pods, and she stocked the refrigerator with cheese, eggs, beer, a bottle of wine. The place is very spacious and could have comfortably accommodated more than 3 people. There are cosy bathrobes in the closets, an extra blanket, slippers and plenty of outlets in the bedroom. The bed was very comfortable and the balcony is so lovely and peaceful. If you come to Pinhao, I highly recommend Ana's place!

Ein tolles Erlebnis, auf der Terrasse zu sitzen, umgeben von Orangen und Zitronenbäumen und auf den Douro und die umliegenden Berge zu blicken. Ein unkomplizierter Check in( Schlüssel steckte in der Tür) und eine herzliche Begrüßung mit Brot, Portwein, Olivenöl und Eiern. Die Ausstattung ist einfach aber passend zum gesamten Ambiente. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Beautiful home with all the amenities exactly as described. Perfect location within walking distance of Pinhao village and a number of wineries. The host, Francisco met us on arrival to show us through the house. His communication is unsurpassed providing recommendations for restaurants, wineries and boat trips on the river. Very responsive to any questions. Could not recommend highly enough. A totally wonderful experience.

The view from the house is spectacular. We looked down over the Pinhão River and could also see the Douro River, boats and trains that passed by Pinhão. The house is large with two floors so there is ample room for 4 people. Henriqueta left a substantial amount of supplies for us, unlike many places that leave just enough to get you started, there was enough coffee, milk, juice, cold meats, cheese, butter, fruit and bread for our entire stay of six days and laundry soap. I would describe the furnishings as "eclectic" however, where the place truly shines is outdoors. There is a lovely tiered garden with fruit trees, flowers and herbs and it carries around outside the gate up the hill which we hiked up to visit the ruins above the house. There is an outdoor barbecue with ample charcoal and wood, which we also used as well as patio tables and chairs. Outside the entrance is a long counter with 8 chairs, perfect for your morning coffee in the sun. We were too early April for the hot tub
