The place was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described. Communication was great, and she made sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Nice, well kept building. Right in the heart of Sacramento. Walking distance to Old Sac and the Capitol area. Nice balcony. All appliances function well. Well stocked. Easy, clear instructions from the host. Large TV in the living room. Kitchen well stocked. Locked parking - reserved spot. Very clean, exactly as seen in photos. Excellent communication with host. Great Wi-fi. Highly recommend if you are in Sacramento for business or for fun.

My second stay here and it does not disappoint. This place is quiet and secluded but near anything you might want to jaunt to in either Lodi or Stockton. My trip was for relaxation, sleep, and just personal downtime. There is some freeway noise, but only if you are outside. Inside, quiet as a mouse. On this trip, the lights in the kitchen were out. Gary was prompt to respond, came to fix them (a darn breaker flipped) which took no time at all, and was extremely aware and respectful of me in the space. Top notch service, in deed. I camped in front of the fireplace my entire stay. I picked up groceries from Raleys in Stockton, and was able to cook all my meals and dined with the very pretty stoneware that nicely matches the cottage vibe. I did not go outside much as this was a peace-and-quiet kind of trip, but the yards (front and back) are quite inviting. Even a stroll in the vineyard is nice. Highly recommend!

Great location, less than a mile from the supermarket, places to grab a bite and the freeway. It was nice and quiet, the place was spotless when i arrived. Host communicated instructions perfectly. Couldn’t be happier with my stay.

Beautifully appointed and updated Craftsman-style home on a tree-lined block of 20s and 30s era houses. Lovely hardwood floors, large dining room with beautiful mahogany table like my grandparents had, with other period pieces integrated throughout the house. Working double-hung windows in all rooms. Comfortable bedrooms and very clean bathroom, all of which maximize space. Same for well-equipped kitchen. Plenty of room for a few cooks in the kitchen and an outdoor grill for a stay-in dinner. Indoor laundry/mudroom, perfect to clean dogs’ feet when they came in from the cute and completely fenced backyard. We walked to shops, restaurants, and historic public buildings. Mimi was a wonderful host. We will return to this cute little place!

We stayed again at Mike's place for our annual event in Folsom. We loves this house and it always feels like home. Thanks for accommodating our group again! :-)

Great place to stay in the country yet nearby the city. It worked out great for us and our two dogs with lovely grounds and places to walk. The hosts were friendly and accomodating. Highly recommend!

Fawzia and Ash provide a private Casita for their guests, which is spacious and beautiful. Their warm , and generous hospitality is an outstanding feature. Happily this environment became our home for two months. We found the amenities of this listing to be excellent. Fawzia regularly checked with us to make sure we were comfortable and responded quickly to any request we made. Stayed here while working as a travel nurse in French camp, CA. It’s a 40 min drive but it’s an easy commute (no stoplights and typically minimal traffic). The cabin is near Rio Vista (15 min drive) where you can grocery shop and the local market, get gas etc. It’s 30-40 mins from Lodi, CA where there is a well supplied Walmart and typical fast food and restaurants. Downtown Isleton seems to have a few restaurants of its own but I didn’t drive into town due to my schedule. I chose to live here over Stockton for my safety and this community is very welcoming and friendly. I would describe this place as a cabin rather than a tiny house. There is a good amount of space here. I would stay here again!

The place was spacious, clean, and so comfortable. Best of all, it was at the perfect distance for cycling to Sac State. We were able to enjoy cooking in the exceptionally well-equipped kitchen and even took advantage of the garden and splash pool. Also, I was grateful to have a desk to work at. Honestly, there were so many wonderful aspects of our stay that I could go on and on. Needless to say, we loved every minute of it. Thank you to our host, Marwa, for providing such with a fantastic experience!

Sandy's house is clean, comfortable, and absolutely lovely. A group of 4 of us had the house for 5 nights while attending a conference at UC Davis. The house was conveniently located (2 miles / 10 minute drive) and our check-in / check-out process was smooth. Sandy was so flexible about the check-in and check-out times as well, which made our trip all the more manageable. Leading up to our stay and throughout the visit, Sandy was always available and responded promptly to any questions or concerns. Thank you for a great stay!

Excellent option for a family/group wanting to stay together and possibly have a few people over for small gatherings. We booked this house because my family wanted to stay together while we were in town for a funeral. It was perfectly located for where we wanted to be. We found the house and yard to actually be bigger than it appears in the pictures! We accidentally missed the note that the pool isn't heated, but we were okay with that because the days were warm enough to take a few cooling dips! The area is very close to the highway, but also very peaceful and quiet and we were able to spot the turkeys and the peacock that live in the neighborhood. It was nice to have two full baths available for the size of our group. We also took advantage of having washer and dryer available. The only negative that we found was that there was one bed that nobody was able to sleep in because it was very uncomfortable. We were able to overcome that issue by having one person sleep on the couch.

comfortable home, matches photos, responsive host, cutest neighborhood! we were in town for a marathon and house was perfect for our needs. well-appointed kitchen had everything we needed for simple breakfasts + lunches. checked out some good restaurants for dinner within few minutes drive. great coffee shop just a couple blocks away. adorable neighborhood to take a walk or run in. beds were comfortable, bathrooms were clean. host was very responsive for anything we needed.
