We had a wonderful stay at Anna’s place. The location is perfect; close to many beautiful spots and hikes, and easy to get into town for restaurants or supplies. Being directly on the water was amazing. The views are incredible. We had great star (and comet!) watching off the dock and really enjoyed taking the kayaks out in the cove. The house is very well appointed and Anna is a great communicator with lots of helpful tips for local activities.

The home was very welcoming and accommodating for our family of 5. The views were spectacular at sunrise, sunset and during the snowstorm. Bald Eagles and hawks would land in the trees right in front of the house. Also, there was a skating pond down the street my family love to visit almost each evening. There was an alarm going off as soon as we arrived, Debbi was incredibly fast responding and sending someone to check it out clear it up. On the plus someone came and plowed the driveway after the snowstorm it was great. She left a basket of local food and my family ate it up. We are so thankful for our relaxing week and would love to return.

Gorgeous views that immediately feel relaxing and exciting at the same time! We loved that it felt secluded, yes also safe and around other homes. Kids skipped rocks, explored tide pools and loved just looking at the boats nearby. We had a rainy day where we hung out at the house for a few hours, but had games and a well-organized kitchen to cook in. All the essentials for cooking were there and plenty of extras! We went into Brunswick to eat one night (Portland Pie company) and Freeport (highly recommend Tuscan Bistro and The Bakeshop!) for shopping and food. Loved Freeport. Highly recommend walking the Cliff trail near the house- gorgeous 2 mile trail with beautiful views). Wish we could have stayed longer!! Nice dark window shades, comfy mattresses and good water pressure for showers. Not a single complaint!

My wife Paula and I found this to be a perfect place to spend our visit to coastal Maine. We loved this was rustic and cozy cottage that was furnished with antiques and filled with perfect local decor. The view of the bay from both the inside and outside was gorgeous. Drinking coffee on the porch we were treated with the enjoyment of watching boats, and abundant wildlife. We lacked nothing as there was plenty of cups, dishes, cookware, utensils, linens, etc. We took advantage of the access to live lobsters sold from the dock down below that was an easy walk. And enjoyed watching the lobstermen work their trade. We drove across to Orr and Baileys Islands for additional shops and restaurants, but the Dolphin Marina restaurant was our favorite. All in all, this cottage exceeded our expectations, and the bar was already set high. We certainly wish to return. Many thanks to our host. Keith and Paula

Wow! What a delightful place: incredibly lovely surroundings, views from every room, graceful and comfortable furnishings, fantastic deck, history and character, really terrific instant hot water and great water pressure, friendly and tactful hosts. But, that's not all! There are charming animals, both domestic and wild. Regal and hilarious white peacocks stroll around, beautiful chickens who lay colored eggs, a friendly feline. The gorgeous woods and water support herons, eagles, ospreys, terns and LOONS, in addition to seals, deer, and porpoise. There's a pretty stroll to a double hammock overlooking a secret bay. The dock is beautifully looked after and the kayaks are easy to launch. Lifejackets are included. We had a fine time as a couple, but if our children had been with us, they would have been thrilled with the upstairs, which is magical. If you are looking for a jacuzzi, you won't find it-- but you won't miss it. WONDERFUL!

This was our second stay at Lily and Blake's cottage, this time in the thick of winter. The cottage was super cozy (the wood stove is perfect!) and comfortable, and although we stayed in for much of our stay we still ventured out to an oyster tasting in Phippsburg, beer and wood fired pizza at a local brewery, and a visit to our favorite Italian bakery in Bath. Still so much to enjoy in the winter months in the Brunswick area!

Popham beach stay was great! We enjoyed the easy access to the beach and long walks twice a day. The house itself is very roomy with lots of space for everyone. Good heating and comfortable furniture. The tapwater is very rusty so be prepared but drinking water is provided. The floors are unfinished wood so you’ll need shoes to avoid splinters but overall, it’s a very comfortable place in a great location!

We had a wonderful stay at this Maine house--Barb, the property manager was incredibly responsive, helped with a heating issue while we were there and had the repairs done same day--The house was well equipped with everything you need for a family getaway at the beach! puzzles and games galore, kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed for family meals (including lobster cooking essentials--bibs, crackers, steam pots) Great little fire pit out front which we enjoyed, and fenced in back yard area so pets or kids can be safely contained :) Linens, towels, all clean and provided--truly a wonderful home away from home, perfect for our family trip to the beach!

This was our family’s second stay at the Bay House. We love the ever-changing views from the picture windows and watching the various birds fly about. We enjoyed using the included beach pass to the state park, but were also comfortable staying in to play board games on the one rainy day we had. I’m sure we’ll be back to visit Popham Beach in the future!
