Make sure you read about what is and what is not included in the amenities, as it seems some other reviewers did not.

This is a great place to stay, with incredible views of one of the very best beaches in Antigua. Instant response time to messages, very friendly staff, great food, bananas and papayas in the garden

This is the most stunning house in the most amazing location - the veranda was such a joy to sit on overlooking Galleon Bay which is a such a fabulous beach. Just down from the house - a short walk is the beach and a beach bar and restaurant which is super cool and delicious food - even if the service is relaxed! The house is slightly tired in places but charming and it didn't bother us at all as we felt so lucky to be in such a special spot. Simonetta is so responsive with brilliant suggestions and really made the holiday for us. The local area is great - lots of other good beaches, sailing, horse riding and restaurants. I unreservedly recommend this place - there is AC in the bedrooms and you don't get too hot in the main rooms with the ceiling fan. Pack your mossie stuff and go and have a brilliant break!

Great house with the best location on the beach. Only thing - we did not know this is inside and part of a resort with resort routines for checking in and out and coming and going. Charming house and outside deck is top notch!

I was thinking of giving Merlin House a negative review so that no one else would go there and we could keep it a secret. Instead I’m going to say that this is one of the best AirBnB’s we have stayed at, and absolutely unbeatable for views. Nathan’s hospitality was superb, the location is stunning and peaceful. A better place to relax and enjoy I can’t think of.

The Seaside Studio exceeded our expectations, along with the hospitality of Toy-Ann and John! We arranged with John to have someone pick us up at the airport, as we were coming in 2 nts early before our cruise departed and did not want to rent a car. We were timely met by friendly Toy-Ann, who was so accommodating, even let us stop at their local grocery. She was very informative about the island, & gave us many suggestions on what to do. Our check-in was very smooth and the studio - very clean, spacious, stocked kitchen with snacks & beverages & in a wonderful quiet condo village. We took advantage of the beach, Salt Plage (walkable, local restaurant & bar) that provided Steel Drums & music both nights. And the swimmable Tiki Bar, local bars on the beach and chaise lounges in the complex. Also, a nice pool. Toy-Ann also drove us to the port and showed us the downtown area of many markets to walk through before we departed on our cruise. We had a wonderful 2 nt stay!

Stayed here for a my birthday trip. It’s spacious, clean, comfortable with plenty of towels/ linens and fully stocked for a vacation. Elena was an amazing host- very kind and accommodating. Made sure we were welcomed at check-in and personally handed keys. She even gave me a small gift! She also helped arrange the airport transfer (Manny) who ended up becoming our new friend & driver the entire stay. Cannot thank her enough for going the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable. The area is very safe and peaceful. Having the golf cart included was a huge benefit since it’s quite inside Jolly Harbor. The golf cart was perfect for getting around in the complex, going to the beach, getting groceries, etc. If you’re looking for a peaceful stay in Antigua, home away from home, this is great. I’d definitely book again.

What a great place! Amazing ocean views and ocean access. Property clean, up kept and is lush and beautiful! Sounds of the waves lapping the shore cannot be beat. Bugs were NOT bad like we were expecting.

Beautiful location in the water near to beaches and bus stop . Stefan and Maria were so helpful - made sure we had everything we needed and how to get to places. Perfect beach 5 mins walk and went on beautiful trips snorkelling . Very homely place with everything needed for cooking . Supermarket 5min walk .

Great, clean apartment with an amazing view of the Caribbean sea. Well managed with 24x7 security and a day reception that was helpful for us to book cabs etc. The staff was very friendly and were also helpful for letting us stay a bit longer since our flight was in the evening. The location is perfect as it's pretty much right on the beach and there are several restaurants in neighbouring resorts + a convenient pickup point for excursions right on the beach. There's also a grocery store right outside the property which means you never have to drive / walk anywhere too far

Such an amazing villa in a quiet and beautiful setting. Couldn’t ask for a better week’s holiday to kick the feet back and relax. I felt right at home with their friendly service. Supermarket, great restaurants and beach all in very short walking distance. Just an ideal spot. Will be looking to stay again next time I’m back.

My husband and I stayed at Bill's place for a month and found his condo comfortable and the cleaning ladies were super nice. We loved the easy ground floor access to the pool, which was always quiet. We enjoyed having sun chairs included around the pool and some at the ocean front. Yoga on Mondays was fun and having drinks and appetizers put on by the village around the pool was a nice gesture. Having dinner on the patio looking at the beautiful and amazing landscaping around all units was a special treat for the senses. Definitely worth another visit in the future.

The home looked like it did in the photos. It was clean, had supplies that we would need. Stacy was very responsive and accommodating. The hole is in a great location. It is quiet, there is a grocery store within walking distance; there a fine restaurants in the complex; the are local vendors; it is on the bus route; close to the beach.

Stacey was always available to answer questions regarding the place, though there were lots of labels so everything was easy to find without needing her to tell us where to find what we were looking for. The place itself was so lovely, the other people staying in the apartments were friendly, and sitting on the deck with the morning cup of tea watching the sun come up was so peaceful. Also suitable for getting around the island nothing was more than a 50min drive away. Definitely would stay here again

The house is absolutely beautiful, new, clean, and spacious, located in an excellent position. The hosts, Chelsie and Jenny, are fantastic and incredibly helpful. They went above and beyond by offering to assist me with booking restaurants and excursions. The Villa we stayed is recently renovated and offers all the amenities, comfort and luxury shown in the pics; we had a fantastic time at the villa. certainly value for money. After staying at over 25 Airbnbs, this place top the list with a 10/10. Felecia and her team was friendly, responsive and professional. The location of the property overlooking the inland waters and just 2 mins walk from Jolly Beach was spectacular. Our group of 4 enjoyed the complimentary communal swimming pool and had a barbecue on the spacious patio. This place is highly recommended.

Excellent location, close to the beach, great restaurants nearby - highly recommend this spot for a stay in Antigua. Jolly Harbor was our favorite spot in Antigua and is a great home base for anyone's visit. Kevin was a great host, very responsive and helpful getting us checked-in.

If you are looking for a peaceful getaway, this is your spot! I cannot explain how beautiful the views are. Every day we woke up and felt like we were in a movie. There is access to a private beach (we were there almost everyday and had it to ourselves). Maria was so kind and welcoming, we felt so safe and at home. There is no place like this! We also rented a car through their recommendation and it was the best experience. Grocery store is less than 10 minutes away, restaurants, etc. We cannot wait to go back!

Excellent small apartment complex, right on Runaway Beach. Probably the best kept secret on the island. Staff great and friendly. Right next door to a great restaurant. Suggest you need to hire a car for the stay
