We've spent a very enjoyable month at Karlene's place and have already booked to return next year! Karlene is very responsive and Alicia, the local estate manager, was really helpful, thank you both. We hired a car for the duration which helped make our stay more akin to being home from home, giving the flexibility to do what we pleased when we liked. The condos are very quiet, especially at night and had a good mix of owner occupiers and holiday makers all of whom where very friendly, especially the lovely ladies who managed the security gates who always welcomed us with a smile. An ideal base for exploring this part of the island.

We had a great stay. One Queen Street is a small block of four apartments built about 4 years ago and our unit was elegantly and tastefully furnished The flat was kept extremely clean by the lovely Denise and Asante. A ten minute walk takes you to the shops and restaurants in Speightstown which has a terrific selection of both bars and restaurants to eat in. A highlight was the beach which was only a few minutes walk from the apartment and which was almost deserted most days as it is difficult to find the way onto it unless you know of the cut through to it. Although not right on the beach we had a green outlook and caught glimpses of monkeys on their evening stroll across our garden wall. Jazz, our host, who is charming, was exceptionally helpful throughout our stay and is very knowledgeable about the area. Wish we were still there!

we had a wonderful stay at Kodi's and would recommend to everyone. clean, well appointed and exactly as described. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom clean with good water pressure in the shower. the kitchen was equipped for light cooking and the welcome basket was really appreciated! Having access to laundry facilities was helpful.. and although there was a dryer, the clothes dried quickly on the line. Mihaela walked with us to show us a shortcut to the beach/bus station. They also lent us a couple of beach chairs which made beach days much better!! overall, the location is good, the place is great and the hosts are wonderful. Don't hesitate to book with them! we are already rebooked for next year!!

We recently visited The Nest in Mullins Barbados,the accommodation was clean and comfortable with all necessary fixtures and fittings, all in running order. The bed was particularly comfortable with the air con perfectly balanced. The owners Neil and Linda are a delightful couple who were very attentive to our needs. The property is well positioned for the Mullins Beach area,with many restaurants and bars close by, there is a supermarket at the end of the road which supplies all your needs, the Wi Fi is very good which is a bonus. The Yellow Bus stops at the end of the road, that goes to Holetown ,this is a must do, provided you don't mind no windows, no exhaust pipe and Bob Marley at full volume, try it, its fun .......great stay 5 stars from us .

There are many places to stay on Barbados, but few offer such a tranquil stay as Canvas & Cave. The clean, well appointed apartments each offer a good sized covered verandah from which to watch the sun set over the Caribbean. The well maintained pool, with an equally good view over the fields to the sea, was a very pleasant option on days when we chose simply to relax "at home". Standing alone at the crest of a hill and surrounded by cane fields and trees, this adapted former plantation house enjoys a constant refreshing breeze, especially at night as you drift off in total quiet, disturbed only by the chorus of tree frogs. This is not for those seeking the dense tourist areas of the South or West coasts. A car is essential, and be prepared for a public road up to the property which reflects the state of many of the minor roads on the island. But the journey is worth it, and soon just becomes part of the experience provided by a welcoming host.

We absolutely loved our stay! The apartment was a great size for 2 guests, a lovely living space inside and a nice courtyard at the back of the property. Halim was a great host, providing clear instructions on check in and check out, he sent over a couple of suggestions of places to try near by- Caboose in particular became a fast favourite. When I’m next in Barbados I will look to book with Halim! Thank you for having us.

My mother and I enjoyed our stay at this place! The rooms were spacious with clean bathrooms and kitchen with every appliance. We loved the area where it’s located, it’s a lot of great restaurants in walking distance and is always right across from the beach and is in front of a bus stop for an option of transportation. We will definitely stay here again!

We loved this tastefully decorated and restful Villa and have already booked it for next year. Chanel and her team were so helpful, proactive and caring. She even came to our rescue when our flight was cancelled and we needed to extend the stay. Pool was lovely and quiet and the people we met around Schooner Bay were very friendly. Can’t wait to come back!

This house is incredible, if you find it available don't hesitate to book! My husband and I adored this peaceful and safe neighborhood just across the street from beautiful Heywoods beach. We spent every sunset there with a beer in hand. The house is perfect, completely comfortable, full of thoughful little amenities to make any stay great. Shari is so helpful and the concierge service is great for organising any trips, excursions, taxis, etc. We only slept in the Master but the bed was amazingly comfortable and I had a great sleep every night - the house has great energy, I don't know how else to put it but it's a special place. Walking distance as well to Speightstown so we had many great lunches and dinners there strolling back and forth from the house. I was devastated to leave after 3 perfect weeks. In summary, the most wonderful stay and already planning our return next year. Thank you Shari for sharing your home and for caring so much for your guests.

It would be easy to end up in the wrong area or with a bland villa in Barbados, but Mustard Seed is ideal on both counts. Sally at Chestertons was extremely helpful, this is not the cheapest holiday, but you definitely get what you pay for. Everything was made safe for children - we had a toddler in the group - and the very well appointed rooms had quirkiness and an authentic tropics vibe. Walkable excellent beach and restaurants, but I would recommend the concierge service for airport transfers, initial food shopping and car hire. You're better with your own car. Great holiday, great villa, great host.

Very clean and as described

Such a beautiful house and location. Views from the infinity pool down to the coast was stunning. Our host was exceptionally friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend this house.

Really enjoyed our stay at Adela's beautiful cottage, we were so surprised when the gates opened revealing the most beautiful tropical garden complete with parrots, humming birds and the occasional family of monkeys passing through! The space and layout of the cottage worked really well for us and we very much appreciated how well equipped it was, both inside and out. It is a short walk to the beautiful Gibbs beach and close to Mullins beach - also walkable, where you have The Sea Shed restaurant and the wonderful Adrian's Corner, where you can hire sunbeds and who make brilliant Pina Coladas! We now feel that we have found our home from home in Barbados and have already booked for next year!

Great townhouse within a few steps of a beautiful beach and bars/restaurants. Cozy and well set up with everything we needed. Regular housekeeping a lovely touch and quick responses from hosts when we needed it. Felt secure and safe with easy parking. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We had a fantastic time at Ashli’s apartment in Speightstown. The apartment exceeded expectations - it was beautifully designed, immaculately clean and had all the little finishing touches of a really premium stay. I was a little reticent booking purely because it was a new listing with only two reviews but I needn’t have worried - Ashli was a fantastic host with excellent communication and was clearly really invested in us having a brilliant stay. Would defo stay here again and we loved Speightstown.

Speightstown is a fabulous spot on the island. Michael’s place is close to everything you need all in walking distance. The balcony was our favourite place for morning coffee and evening cocktails while watching a beautiful sunset. Having a washer and dryer was a bonus. Michael was quick to respond to any questions we had. Thanks Michael.

Sarah's home is a GEM, simply beautiful, amazing, relaxing & superbly located in a private & peaceful area. It felt much bigger than the photos described, we felt very at home, lots of space/ bathrooms. Super comfy beds, linen & towels pristine & plentiful. The balcony was huge it has stunning views which were breathtaking, so relaxing. We were able to see the pool from our balcony which is handy to check-in on my youngest who couldn't get enough. The pool was spotless & cleaned regular. Gibbes beach was very close less than 10mins walk, Mullins extra 10min & lots of places to eat CCs etc. We visited Speightsown, Oistins, Bridgetown & Holetown mostly by bus, the yellow one. it was fab. Took the Blue bus to Bridgetown & has WiFi (blue bus is Government) have exact money drivers do not handle cash, fare is placed directly in pay box (no change given) Big supermarket in Holetown has everything. Collis was fantastic aswell as Marcia. We look forward to returning Thank you Sarah Jacinta

Loved loved this place It’s a gorgeous, spacious apartment with everything u need to relax and enjoy. The gardens and pool area are beautiful with plenty of sunloungers. Loved seeing the hummingbirds and monkeys in the garden. The ladies who clean are so sweet and friendly so is the gardener we loved chatting to them. Ian and Helen were amazing hosts so accommodating and helpful Defo recommend and hope to Return soon.

We enjoyed our family stay over the holidays. The local beach was the best on the island for snorkeling in my opinion. The location had everything we could ask for.

The unit was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The location was perfect for experiencing the island, with easy access to attractions and beaches. A car rental is highly recommended to explore everything the area has to offer. Would definitely stay again!

The Appartment is lovely and very comfortable with a large balcony. It is set in a quiet gated area just opposite Mullins beach. Rose who manages the property is charming and exceedingly helpful. We have now stayed there three times and are coming back next year! We would highly recommend it.

What a fantastic place this is. Port St Charles is a beautiful place to stay with bars, swimming pools and the wonderful beach all within very easy reach, either by foot or via the water taxi service. Oliver's apartment is extremely spacious, comfortable and has a stunning view across the port lagoon. All instructions from Oliver and John were super-clear, check in and out was easy and flexible and everything that we needed was there. This really is a brilliant place to stay and hopefully I will be returning soon. Many thanks to Oliver and John for everything.
