The location is a great place to stay. It is a bit outskirt of Tokyo but it is reasonably priced. What is great about this place is you get what is advertised and the host Haru is very friendly and accommodating to answer your queries. He has prepared everything you'll need for your comfortable stay. It is a comfortable place to stay in Japan for a large group of 8. A bit of a walk from Shinden train station (as we travelled end of winter, start of spring, so it's very cold) but taxi is also available as an option. I will definitely consider this place again if I get to visit Tokyo again in the future.

A heartfelt thank you to Keiichirou and Aki for sharing their wonderful home with us. The apartment is about a 15–20 minute peaceful walk from the nearest train station, with the neighborhood being quiet, safe, and beautifully serene. It was the perfect fit for my girlfriend and me, with everything exactly as shown in the photos. The location is ideal—far enough from central Tokyo to feel like a retreat, yet close enough (30–60 minutes by train) to explore the city with ease. After long, exciting days, it was a joy to return to such a cozy, welcoming space, perfect for recharging and preparing for new adventures. The hosts were incredibly kind and quick to respond, making our stay effortless and enjoyable. For added convenience, a taxi from the station is just 5 minutes (600–1100 yen). We truly loved our time here and would absolutely stay again. We hope to return one day to explore more, soak in the local charm, and enjoy this incredible experience once more!

Adoramos a estadia de 10 dias na casa de Keiichrou. Sempre muito rapido nas respostas e quando precisamos de uma ajuda referente ao ar condicionado, imediatamente veio a Sra Aki para nos ajudar. Recebemos o valor do taxi da estacao de trem ate a casa como cortesia e ao chegar na casa, tinha bonecos Daruma de presentes. Ficamos muito felizes. Apartamento estava limpo e organizado com todo o basico para nossa longa estadia. Adoramos o entorno, pois tinha Rio e hortas. Voltaremos com certeza.

A remote and quiet place next to a beautiful park. With the convenience of having various vending machines right outside the appartment. The free rental bikes are great to reach the train station in Asaka within 10 minutes. It can get quite hot sleeping upstairs when there is a warm sunny day which is why I suggest to move the futon downstairs if that is the case. That being said, I didn't feel like I was missing any appliance while my stay. I would gladly rent this place again in the future.

방이 깔끔하고 칫솔, 슬리퍼, 옷 등 여러 서비스를 제공합니다. 주변을 여행할 예정이라면 괜찮은 선택이 될 수 있습니다 굳이 단점을 꼽자면 욕실이나 집이 2명이 이용하긴 좁게 느껴질 수 있습니다. 1명이면 충분한 공간이라고 생각합니다

The landlord is very friendly, the room is spacious and very clean, and it has many facilities such as microwave oven, refrigerator, water heater, etc. You need to be careful of cars when walking home at night.

チェックイン時間の急な変更にも柔軟に対応してくださり、たいへん感謝しております。 畳や掘りごたつなどの懐かしさを感じる純和風な雰囲気も残しつつ、清潔で広く使い勝手の良いキッチンやバスルームなど、ひとつの建物に快適さが圧縮されており、ほっと安らげる空間でした。懸念していた和室の寒さですが、床暖房やストーブが充実していたため、ぐっすりと眠れました 宿の周辺環境も実際に景色を眺めながら教えていただいたので、現地に赴いてはじめて得られる発見もあり学びを得たように感じます。 宿の家具や造りなど、全てじっくり眺めきれなかったので、また訪れたいと思いました。リビングのドローンソフトもリベンジしたいです。 この度はありがとうございました。

This was an impeccably clean and comfortable stay! We got great sleep on the comfy beds and the sound of the river was very relaxing. We came during a cold/wet week in late March/early April and greatly appreciated the floor heaters. We liked how private and quiet this location is, and that right outside the backyard is a paved meandering walkway that runs parallel with the river. It's a great walkable location, and near the train as well. The only thing to be mindful of is that the kitchen isn't stocked with much as far as cooking tools and basics. If you plan to eat out, that shouldn't matter though, since there are several great restaurants a short drive away. The photos in the listing represent the house well and the host was quick to respond. We'd be happy to stay here again.

少し山奥で生きにくさはありましたが、近くに滝や温泉があり、自然を感じてゆっくりできるいい宿泊地でした！

複数家族で利用できて、プライベートな空間が守られて、リーズナブルな価格だった。また利用したいと思ってます。

I stayed for a full week in this house, and really had nothing to report. It's run by a really nice couple, everything is very clean and the rooms are comfortable. There is a lot of traffic in front of the house but the windows are soundproofed. I really recommend this place.

周辺環境の自然が美しかったです。 大人数で滞在し、同じ卓を囲んで食事ができるか不安でしたが、丸椅子があり問題ありませんでした。 バス、トイレ、風呂、居間、寝室及びその他全ての設備・アメニティが新しく、かつ丁寧に清掃されていました。 機会があれば、また利用したい施設でした。

The house was very beautiful and spacious. It was a little inconvenient to get to. Either 2000 yen cab or a 30 mins bus/walk from the train station. That adds a lot of time to any trips you are doing in Tokyo. But it makes up for that in the spacious house. We all had a room which was nice and everything was very clean and new feeling. The only thing I would add is that there are not much amenities like coffee mugs and plates. Also the check out time is very early. But all in all it was a good Airbnb experience.
