We just spent two amazing weeks at Melinas Guest House near Krabi, Thailand, with our family, including our three children with partners and six grandchildren. Having the entire resort to ourselves created a special atmosphere for our gatherings. The staff at Melinas Whale Bar were fantastic, providing exceptional service throughout our stay. The location right on the beach, with stunning views and breathtaking sunsets, made for unforgettable moments as we enjoyed sundowner drinks while the kids swam in the sea. We highly recommend Melinas Guest House for a fantastic family vacation and can’t wait to return!

Peaceful and comfortable retreat away from the hustle and bustle. Though the property is located on a steep hill, which may pose a challenge in terms of accessibility, the shuttle service makes up for it! We were provided with a mobile device for assistance, and the hosts were very responsive and efficient, so getting around was an ease for us. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and we really appreciated their warm hospitality. Being on a hilltop, we had a breathtaking view of the ocean horizon. We occasionally had reptilian and insect visitors, but the staff was always quick to assist if required. The accommodation was cozy, with a well-equipped kitchen and daily cleaning service. The 15% guest discount for the restaurant was a thoughtful touch, and we really enjoyed the delicious food. Overall, a fantastic experience!

We had a great time in this place. The view is awesome, you can see the sea and the islands and it is surrounded by nature. It is set on a hill top so a bit of a climb as the tuktuks cant take you but if you have a motorbike, its not a problem. The place is huge and clean. Nice relaxing vibe. The host was great. Highly recommend to families with kids and athletic people. Will book this place again.

Sarat ist eine wundervolle Gastgeberin, sie hilft bei Allem, wo sie nur kann, hat wertvolle Tips auf Lager und ist jederzeit erreichbar. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt zweimal verlängert und waren in insgesamt 3 Bungalows. Es gibt alles, was man braucht, die Küche ist super ausgestattet, im Schlafzimmer ist eine super funktionierende Klimaanlage. Die gesamte Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und ruhig. Sarat betreibt die Anlage mit ihrer Tante und ihrem Onkel, die beide auch super lieb sind, man fühlt sich wie zuhause und alles ist sehr familiär. Wir waren hier mit unserer 12 Monate alten Tochter und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Der perfekte Ausgangspunkt, um die Umgebung zu erkunden! Mittels Taxi oder per Grab App kommt man überall schnell hin und wir hatten nie Probleme bzgl. Transfer.

TRAUMHAFT! Noi & Oliver haben ihr Bestes gegeben, um uns einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen! Die Unterkunft hat eine wunderschöne Aussicht auf das Meer. Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig und mit dem Roller (ein Muss) kommt man zu den besten Spots! Die Unterkunft war wie beschrieben! Für Thailand weiche Betten. Zu den Hosts: Es gibt wirklich keine Besseren! Sie haben sich um alles Organisatorische gekümmert. Wir wurden vom Pier abgeholt und zur Unterkunft gefahren. Sie haben sich um unsere Roller gekümmert, welche uns vor die Tür gebracht wurden. Oliver ist mit uns zum Arzt gefahren, war stets interessiert wie es uns geht und was er uns gutes tun kann. Wir haben eine lange Liste bekommen mit Restaurant- und Aktivitätsempfehlungen. Oliver hat sich um einen wunderschönen Ausflug für uns gekümmert. Wir haben in einem der beliebtesten Restaurants immer einen reservierten Tisch bekommen. Der persönliche Kontakt war sehr besonders. Eine Herzensempfehlung von uns allen Vier. Vielen Dank!

Siamo già stati in questa villa 2 anni fa. La villa è bellissima con mobili e decorazioni stupendi di gusto e qualità, tutto in stile Balinese. La piscina condominiale sempre pulita . La villa é un po’ datata e avrebbe bisogno di un po’ di manutenzione e Amore per poter risplendere di nuovo. Il team di pulizia è i manutentori sono fantastici sempre pronti a Intervenire per qualsiasi problema in tempi rapidissimi . Complimenti alla manager Khun Aor per la Sua gentilezza e professionalità. Torneremo ancora

Simple, clean, quiet detached ensuite room set in peaceful grounds about 100m walk from the wonderful beach. If you’re lucky you get a hammock and a cat to pet. Beach access is via the outdoor seating area of the adjacent beachside restaurant. Laundry service, shops, travel agents and some excellent restaurants are all within easy walking distance.

Die Unterkunft bietet einen unglaublichen Ausblick und liegt mitten in der Natur und ist trotzdem nicht weit weg vom Strand (7 Minuten mit dem Roller). Der Vermieter und sein Personal kümmern sich um alle Bedürfnisse.

I 100% recommend this place! The staff are very friendly and helpful! The place feels like home. The beach is very close, beautiful and pretty empty. If you love a countryside vibe, you will definitely appreciate this Airbnb :) hoping to go back next year!

It was a unique experience to spend a few days and nights in the middle of nature in this beautiful space. We loved the open kitchen and the sleeping room above looking into the mangrove forest. Anit brought us some fruits and was helpful all the way. We rented his scooter for a good price. If youre looking for a secluded space surrounded by nature this is just perfect. We stayed here for two months. By the end of it we felt like family. What a find. A real gem outside of the busy main area of Ao Nang and nestled in the rubber plantation. We were very sad to leave this perfect little paradise. Thanks to Funta, Sumet, Jai, Wood and their family’s for having us x

Very nice villa in a calm neighborhood. You need to rent scooters or use Grab to get around. No shops or restaurants within walking distance. We had a great week!

We really enjoyed our stay at the villa. Is it located in a very peacefull and quiet location and privacy is guaranteed. The 13m pool is great for cooling off or doing some exercises. Everything in the villa is in perfect working order and was cleaned well. Wifi also works perfect. Be aware that the walk up to the villa is quite steep. It was not a problem for us, but if you have mobility issues it might be difficult. In that case you might want to make sure you have some manner of transportation. Caretaker Jan is always avaliable and responds to any questions immediately. She can also arrange transportation from and to the airport.

If you're looking for a great place on Long Beach, then you should consider Gilles Villa. My family of five stayed for a week and loved it. It is a short walk to the beach, lots of restaurants nearby, a pharmacy, an atm, a gym, etc. The villa itself is well-equipped and comfortable. The pool is smaller and shared with the villa next door, but we really enjoyed it and just got to know the neighbors. The electricity/water costs are minimal, so don't let that detract. We really enjoyed our stay and would be happy to stay again.

Spacious lodgings, friendly hosts, and impeccable location. Just off the main road so quiet whilst still being able to access tons of beaches, restaurants and bars by walking a couple of minutes. Recommended!

Great value for the price and great hosts! We like apartments with 2 separate bedrooms and a nice terrace behind the bushes. The whole area is green and adorable.

This was now the second villa in the Sai Naam residence that we have stayed at and I can say that the location, staff and villa itself was as amazing as last time. This time we stayed there with a 2,5 year old kid. The host helped us get a cozy shuttle that made the travel hassle free and we got a private welcome at the villa itself. The area is very peaceful with direct access to the beach and bunch of nice restaurants nearby. There's a 7/11 nearby and plenty of massage parlors, scooter rentals etc. We would highlight a few things about the villa itself: - comfortable pool with steps and an attached jacuzzi which made swim time safer with a kid. - separate building with a bedroom and bathroom - couch and TV were located on 2nd floor - big gaps in railings (risky with toddler) - very nice bathroom with outside shower (under roof and netting) - water/electricity cost us ~180 eur for 12 days, but we didn't always turn off A/C when going out Would visit again!

The place was amazing, we loved how clean the pool and our place was. We definitely recommended it. It was the perfect place for our family.

We are a family of 4 and enjoyed the stay in Nicks house very much. Sita & Nick were very welcoming and helpful. The house is lovely, the beds very comfortable and the outdoor rainshower a dream when coming from the small hidden beach just accross the street. The house feels like a small hidden oasis. We are looking forward to come and stay here again!

We felt very comfortable at Jay’s house. The place is truly unique – the pool with its breathtaking view of Old Lanta is stunning, and the view from the master bedroom is fantastic. The house is huge, and our kids could hardly believe they were staying in such a villa. What they didn’t love so much: in the back room, they were woken up at 6 AM by chickens and a rooster. But that’s just part of living in nature 😉 We only stayed for two nights, but we still enjoyed it to the fullest. Thank you so much, dear Jay, for everything!
