We stayed in apartment 38 for a week in July 2021. It exceeded my expectations and the pictures do not do it justice (the pictures make it look a bit dated but it really isn’t). It is a lovely 3 bed apartment - very clean throughout. The bedrooms and bathroom are on the first floor and the stairs lead up to the living area and kitchen! The kitchen comes with a fridge, dishwasher, cooker and oven. You also get all your basic cooking utensils and dishes alongside cleaning products including dishwasher tablets. One thing I would suggest is taking some tupperware to store your food in or if you want to make a picnic. The description also stated they provided cooking oil - but there wasn’t any - so it’s worth taking some if you want to make a full english in the morning. We ordered a Tesco online shop which was delivered straight to the apartment without any problems. Note, the pools (indoor and outdoor) are not heated so can be quite cold. The indoor pool area is a bit tired looking with the paint peeling off the floor - but the kids still had a fab time. The gym is also well equipped with weight and cardio machines…but again some of the padding on the machines are a bit worn. Overall we had a fab time, the views are amazing. Meadfoot beach is literally on the doorstep and the town is only a 15min walk away. Paignton beach (10min drive) is great for the kids if you want a bit more hustle and bustle i.e. Pier with arcades and fairground. Also recommend The Inn on the Green for lovely pub grub - they are directly opposite the Paignton pier and the staff were fab too.

Dawn & Richard were fantastic hosts. The accommodation was fantastic and spotless. Bed was very comfortable with great blinds to block out the light and the bathroom was lovely and clean. Couldn’t fault anything would definitely return.

This was a first class stay. The studio was spotless, comfy and well-equipped. There was a lovely extra touch of home made chocolates on arrival. The host was very helpful, friendly and unobtrusive. Recommend!

This was such a peaceful and enjoyable stay!The flat was perfect for the two of us, and was super clean and well kept! It also has a fully equipped kitchen. The location was fantastic lots of scenic views, we did a beautiful coastal walk to Branscombe. It also had some lovely cafes and pubs just a short walk away. I would highly recommend Cath and her lovely accommodation!!

Amazing spot will definitely be returning, the views are amazing and plenty things in place to make your stay comfortable. The place was completely spotless. Plenty coastal walks around.

We had a fantastic stay at Mat & Megan’s flat. Everything was clean and comfortable, communication was fast and clear, but the absolute stand out was the incredible views front and back.

Another great holiday at Goodrington Lodge. We've stayed numerous times in different apartments here over the last 10 years or so and we still come back every year. The location is great for us and is very dog friendly. Our 2 Jack Russell's love it. Apartment 7 is ideal for us and the dogs and was spotlessly clean on arrival. Adam is a great host, very friendly and quick to reply to messages. We will be back again for certain!

We may have only stayed a few days but we would defiantly choose to stay here again, for me & my family the apartment is in a ideal location. Lovely sea view from apartment.

we had a fantastic stay at Tom's place this Christmas! the house was perfect with everything we could possibly need. walking distance from the beach and pub was fab. thankyou for a wonderful stay and the hamper which had been left for our arrival it was much appreciated.

Lovely cottage with everything you could want. ideally situated, so close to the back beach and pubs/ restaurants. very lucky to be able to park right outside of the door. Amazing veiw from the front bedroom window.

Lovely location with some great views and easy access to lots of sights.

We spend a week at Ringmore, but could have easily stayed several weeks due to the lovely atmosphere of the cottage, the village and the attractive surrounding. House and garden are beautiful. You can feel at home instantly. The house is bright and friendly and well equipped. The beautiful surrounding invites to stray around, walk to the beach, enjoy the landscape, walk the coastal path starting from the house at Ayrmer Cove, a small beach with amazing rocks. And have dinner at the Journeys End Inn with a very nice variety of food and of course ales. There are many more things to explore: lovely villages, churches, cathedrals, ports, gardens, museums, estuarys, Dartmoor, great coast ... The host Anna was very nice and gave us lots of information. Thanks a lot for staying at this special place and experiencing a wonderful atmosphere!

We had a four night stay with our friends, there we 8 of us in total and it was absolutely perfect for us all. The living, dining, cooking space was exactly what I was hoping it would be and the weather was even good enough to have the bifold doors open which was so good to have the outside in! A really comfortable space to relax and enjoy each others company. Sophie was incredible from start to finish, she was fantastic at responding to any queries and totally kept us updated with everything we needed to know. She also was extremely flexible with our arrival and departure times so we didn't feel rushed at all- thank you Sophie! Also a fabulous little walk to Burgh Island and great beaches. Highly recommended 5*

I booked this beautiful Airbnb as a surprise for my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary for all the family, and it exceeded all expectations! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect, the home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Heather was an amazing host, always responsive and helpful with any queries. The location was ideal, offering both relaxation and easy access to the beach and town centre. My parents couldn’t stop raving about our stay, the comfortable accommodations, the peaceful ambiance, made this a truly unforgettable experience. Thank you, Heather, for helping make their golden anniversary so magical! We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a special getaway.

Absolutely perfect 🥰 We have just returned home from a fabulous week at this wonderful house. It truly is home from home and fully equipped with everything you need. The views are absolutely stunning. Mark, the owner, was super helpful and we knew that he was available anytime if we needed anything (we didn't) We took my elderly parents, and our daughter. My dad has dementia and it was so lovely and peaceful and calming for him and it gave my mum some much needed relaxation time and I am so so grateful for that. Our daughter loves photography and she took beautiful photos of the amazing sunsets. All in all it was a perfect holiday in a fabulous house and a stunning location. We will definitely be returning there and I cannot recommend it highly enough

Another great stay here! This time, for a longer period of time, additional cleaning and replenishment was offered throughout. A very proactive and helpful host who obviously takes pride in their property and guests. Would highly recommend to others and consider using again in the future.

Matthew was an absolutely amazing host. We loved the experience from start to finish. The place is beautiful and spotlessly clean. Had the most wonderful weekend and will definitely be returning Matthew - you have been ace! Highly recommend this place and the hosts are fab.

What an amazing stay at Karen’s - the only grudge I have is I didn’t have more time :( Karen’s place is superb - the location, the house, the communication - everything was spot on. I had read previous reviews and was expecting a very good experience but this was so much beyond. The apartment is right on the doorstep to the beach. It is situated at easy walking distance to the town centre and the neighbourhood is very peaceful and quiet. The apartment itself is lovely - there’s load of space, the rooms are very vibrant and it is built and maintained to a very very high standard. I would certainly stay here again.

This place was a really lovely cosy little bolthole, and surprisingly peaceful despite being in town. Really decent quality and lots of very thoughtful provisions in place such as real coffee and milk in fridge on arrival- plus lovely little treat / surprise laid out! Luke is a proactive, considerate and communicative host. I would definitely stay here again, and the beautiful park opposite was a real bonus and great for my senior dog as not too far for her to walk to lie in the sunshine. ☺️

Comfortable, clean, light, spacious apartment in an excellent location, a few minutes’ walk from beach, station and town. Near the sea, but has no view as it’s situated on a dark, narrow street behind other buildings. Not attractive from outside, but lovely within! Arrival instructions with photos were really clear and helpful. The flat is well-equipped with a great shower and coffee machine. Good cafes, a friendly pub one minute away, and an excellent Thai restaurant.

Helen’s place was fab and exactly what we were looking for. Super clean, with lovely comfy beds, and a really calm and nicely considering decor. It was quite, dark and cozy, but with ample space for the kids. The kitchen is well appointed and Helen had kindly left milk and snacks, which were much appreciated when we arrived with 2 young kids after a long drive. Helen has also considered lots of details to make for a fun stay, from the toys and board games to a roster of DVDs. Helen’s coms and check in details were super clear and she was very responsive. She also kindly offered as an early check in and check out as we were out of season and she didn’t have people staying immediately before or after. We loved the location of Seaton and used it as a based for some fossil hunting. I’d highly recommend Helen’s spot, she really goes the extra mile to ensure a brill stay. Thanks Alex

Stayed here over the New Year period and it was perfect. Great location, the sea view was spectacular and the log burner was a great addition given the cold weather. Local pubs were so friendly and food was great. Will definitely return, thank you.

We had a very enjoyable stay - the host was very helpful on arrival, especially in giving us ideas of where to go during our stay. The property was extremely clean and very well equipped, therefore made our stay all the more enjoyable. Would highly recommend this property to all.
