We had a wonderful stay!! The house has so much character and is tastefully updated to be comfortable. Great layout and sleeping options, plenty of room - it was perfect for our needs!

I stayed here for my best friends wedding. I highly recommend this space for anyone getting married at the Cannery or attending a wedding at this venue. It is honestly in the backyard and made the wedding day stress free!

This was the perfect spot for our group of five adults and one beagle to spend Thanksgiving. The house is spacious and comfortable. The kitchen and dining room were ideal for preparing and enjoying our holiday meal. The large kitchen and open space to the living room were fabulous for cooking, playing games, and relaxing. The grounds around the house are beautifully maintained. Wonderful scenery, especially while the snow was coming down.

We had a nice stay with Cora, who is so kind and helpful. We had some issues with the portable AC units and the front door lock but, she took care of it very quickly. It was the perfect place to stay for move in day. Thanks, Cora!

We were visiting Syracuse for a lax game at LaMoyne. Our visit was only 1 night but Jenna was extremely helpful. She made a great restaurant recommendation, the Rancher’s Choice! She was also very responsive to my questions. The house was spotless and quaint. The only word of caution is the stairs to the 2nd floor for anyone with littles or difficulty with mobility. We were a group of 5 adults, so we didn’t have any issues. It was so nice to have a place to spend quality time with friends. Usually we stay in hotels which isn’t ideal for building community. Sarah's Place was secluded, quiet, and lots of land with neighbors that are not on top of each other. Check-in was phenomenal (no hassle). Upon entry, house was very cleaned, organized, and spacious. We love that it has 3 bedrooms to accommodate a few extra guests, and as for the bathroom, it's huge and not very tight space. Pet-friendly as well with accommodation of dogs bowls and poop bags. The stairs leading to the 2nd floor was very narrow, and squeaky, but it does the job. You have to watch your head when coming down the stairs especially at the bottom if you're very tall. Most importantly, the welcome packet. I like how Sarah explained the check-in and check-out process, the detail of the property, and things to do in surrounding towns. Not all hosts do this, and we're glad Sarah did. In the near future, we are considering Sarah's Place as our next stay again. We would definitely recommend it. Trust us, you'll love it.

Nicole is responsive, kind, helpful, and a joy to communicate with. We will definitely return to this adorable house many more times. We were especially grateful for the quick response to questions or request for assistance with anything in the house. The Christmas tree was a perfect touch to welcome us when we arrived. We spent much time on the comfy furniture by the fireplace. If you're planning to travel in winter, bring slippers (CNY is a bit chilly in winter and you'll be grateful for the extra warmth). Drive was easy to get in and out of with the snow, salt and shovels were easy to locate to make sure the walkway was cleared and safe.

Our stay was wonderful! I loved Dylan’s property because it was in a great location, close to restaurants & grocery stores, and super easy to find. The home is full of amenities to entertain a family while staying there. I look forward to rebooking this property again in the future.

Ken is very kind, friendly, helpful and funny. His house and yard are gorgeous and the view of Lake Ontario is unbeatable! The hot tub, deck with fire table, pool and the seating with a fire pit out in the yard are perfectly set up. We wouldn’t couldn’t ask for more! The town of Pulaski is not far and easy to get to if you ever need but the sunsets are so beautiful you may not want to leave the house! Selkirk Shores State Park is only a couple minute drive and can be seen from the yard. We really love staying here each year when we come upstate to go salmon fishing. It’s the perfect fancy retreat after a day in the woods. We’ve started bringing our daughter and parents this year and even those who don’t fish were just happy to hang out at the house and enjoy the amenities. The view alone is worth the price how nice the house is and how kind Ken is, are an amazing bonus! I can’t say enough good things! We will return!

What a beautiful and cozy historic space! I loved the fireplace in the bedroom and the very comfy bed. Very quiet house and neighborhood. Extremely clean! The bathroom is tiny but functional. My only complaint would be that I was provided only a single bath towel for a 2-night stay. Other than that it was perfect and I would definitely stay again. Thanks Tim!

Excellent house, exactly as advertised. Great, secluded location. Owner was super easy to work with and very communicative. Already booked another stay.

The house was beautiful inside. Plenty of kitchen space and a bar in the basement. We were 3 blocks from the Salmon River were we got some salmon fishing in.

Ray and Kayla's place was stunning, and I had a great stay. It was impeccably clean and the bed linens and towels were fresh and delightful. The bed was a great surprise - a TempurPedic with a remote to lift the head or feet to whatever you desired. I considered this a really big perk, after all a comfortable bed when you're traveling is important and this was one of the best beds I've encountered on the road, including in high end hotels. I slept like a 🪵 log! The water in the shower was instantly hot and comfortable. They had thoughtful touches all throughout the apartment like bottled water, snacks, eggs and travel toiletries if you forgot anything. The washer/dryer in the unit was a lifesaver too. Parking was great and it was easy to find. The kitchen was spacious and tidy. Overall I just really enjoyed the place and Ray and Kayla's hospitality, and I hope to stay there again!

We had an amazing stay at this gorgeous cabin in Boonville! The location was absolutely perfect, with direct access to snowmobile trails right from the house. It made for a seamless outdoor adventure, and we couldn’t have asked for a better spot to enjoy the snow. The house itself was stunning—exactly what you’d want from a cozy cabin. The interior was warm, inviting, and beautifully designed, capturing that perfect cabin feel. It had all the amenities we needed and more, from a fully stocked kitchen to comfortable bedding and thoughtful touches throughout. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and highly recommend this place for anyone looking to get away in the area!

We spent two weeks here during a house renovation project. I had a great stay. It's quiet, private and very cozy in a convenient village setting. I had my dog with me and we enjoyed a number of village walks and village parks. Kitchen is well-equipped if you want to eat in, and it's close to a number of great places to eat if you don't. Rachelle is great at getting back to you. She's a great host. She's thought of the little details; there are loads of games to play, Netflix on the TV, a super comfy couch. It's a delightful place to stay.
