Spacious apartment with 1 master- & 2 twin bedrooms. The master and one twin have a great ocean view. Very spacious lounge & dining area, kitchen with Nespresso machine, washer & dryer. Weber BBQ on the very large patio. Just down the hill from the promenade. We had a great time, thank you Filip :) - a 1A-host!

We had a wonderful stay. Jana was proactive and responsive to communication and was kind enough to assist us with late check in as we ran into delays whilst travelling. The apartment is well equipped from beach buckets, beach mats, umbrellas, a pram, they really have thought of everything. 👏👏

We stayed for seven days and had a lovely stay. The host was very helpful and the location was perfectly situated near the beach. The space itself was modern and clean however the kitchenette is quite small but was easy to work around. I would definitely recommend.

Me and my friends stayed for a weekend. The apartment was very clean and aesthetically pleasing. It is a very safe place. This was a very beautiful and lovely airbnb. It had two pools and the pool at the 4th floor had a beautiful ocean view. This place is only 8 minutes away from Oceans Mall. Thami was very helpful throughout. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

The listing description was spot on - the apartment was serene, calm, and perfect for unwinding. The location was fantastic, with plenty of shops, restaurants, and establishments just a stone's throw away. I felt safe throughout my stay, and the views from the apartment were breathtaking! The space itself was clean, and the host had thoughtfully provided everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a relaxing, convenient, and enjoyable getaway. The pool is accessible for guests and the beach is easily accessible. Its a very beautiful apartment with a breathtaking view

Beautiful spot, perfect for a family holiday! Easy access to the beach, wonderful entertainment area where watching kids in the pool is easy! Could do with a few hooks for towels etc outside by the pool and outside shower, but other than that small suggestion, we loved our stay!

We have found a new gem - Sovereign Sands in Blythedale. Away from the chaos of Ballito and surrounds, it was a breath of fresh air to be a short forest-walk away from a pristine uncrowded beach. It felt like Mozambique (beautiful quiet beaches, dune forest etc), but with the added convenience of Checkers Sixty60 delivering to the Estate. Blythedale itself is a simple town with not much to do, but The Estate is a short beach walk away from Grumpy's beach bar, which was awesome (and made us think of Mozam even more with their jugs of R&R). The accommodation was spacious, clean and comfortable, and while we wished we had a sea-view - the sounds of the ocean were awesome. The kitchen was stocked with all the usual kitchen gadgets (even a Nespresso machine) you'd need. Elsie was communicative and friendly. The Estate felt very safe & well-run. The communal pool area boasted a very large pool that the kids loved (but the adults wished that there was some comfy seating around).

We checked in Friday afternoon with my family for the weekend. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. The house is exactly how it looks as advertised, great view to wake up too and a walkable distance to the beach. The entire house is well furnished with fresh bedding and towels for us to use. Really an enjoyable place to stay at. The hosts were so friendly enough to let us check out abit later. I would highly recommend this place for everyone ( families and friends).

What a wonderful weekend by the beach. Our morning coffee on the deck overlooking the ocean was simply blissful and being able to have our family dog with us made it all the more special. My family really enjoyed the stay!

Melissa was simply theeee best!!! We at no point felt neglected, the checking in was the smoothest I’ve ever had, driving to the place, she kept checking on us, we arrived late but she stayed up until late just so she can be able to assist us check-in. The place is amazing, more beautiful in person that it even is on the pictures, the view is breathtaking!!! With the sea breeze, we walked to the beach, for less than 3 minutes, that’s how close it is to the house. My friends and I really enjoyed our stay at Melissa’s, apart from the above mentioned, Melissa has humanity and we found that gold about her! She’s not just making money from here guests but she’s considerate of them and makes sure they’re happy and convenienced.

Rascals Rest is a little haven on the east coast , Salt rock is one of our favourite places to visit as a family ! The house is right on the main beach with easy access to the beach and tidal pool. The views are spectacular. The house is perfect for a large family and boasts optimal different spaces to entertain and eat. Isabel & Zanele were fabulous, professional and always there when we needed them! The house is well equipped with amenities, utensils and had everything we needed ! Will definitely go back and can recommend over & over !

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Tamryn’s place—a stunning beachfront property. From the moment we arrived on Saturday, we were blown away by the breathtaking views. Waking up to the sunrise over the ocean every morning was truly unforgettable. The home is beautifully maintained, stylish, and perfectly located just steps from the beach. It offered everything we needed for a relaxing and memorable getaway. A special shoutout to the cleaning staff and housekeeper, who were fantastic—so friendly, efficient, and made sure everything stayed spotless. We’re missing it. Highly recommend Tamryn’s place—we’d return in a heartbeat!

We absolutely LOVED our stay here. We are already planning our next visit! The apartment matched the description and was exactly what we needed for a weekend away. It’s right on the beach, so you can pop up and down easily and enjoy the view and soothing sound of the ocean from the comfort of your balcony any time of day. The apartment was well equipped with everything you need to stay in and rotate between the beach and home. We will definitely stay here next time we are in Ballito!

I had the pleasure of staying in this stunning apartment on the quieter side of Umhlanga, which exceeded all my expectations! The apartment is beautifully decorated, cosy, and perfectly equipped for a relaxing getaway. But what made my stay special was the hospitality from Jono and Cathy - they surprised me with a lovely bottle red of wine, which was such a thoughtful touch! The pool area was fantastic, and the entire complex was ideally suited for those seeking a peaceful, private retreat. The location is also super convenient, with a delicious café downstairs serving the best Chai latte, and a Checkers grocery store just steps away. If I have one regret, it's that I didn't make it to the nearby casino - but that's definitely on my agenda for next time! Overall, I highly recommend this apartment to anyone seeking a serene and comfortable stay in Umhlanga. Thank you, Jono and Cathy, for an unforgettable experience!

Sheena's place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described in the listing. Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying breathtaking ocean views from the balcony was truly unforgettable. What an impressive complex! So clean and neat and had such friendly security guards. Easy access to the beach and promenade. It's not right on a swimming beach, but it's still lovely. The unit is extremely comfortable and has all the amenities and more! It's the perfect spot for a girls' running weekend!

Paola’s place is beautiful and peaceful, I booked it as part of my rest and recovery, and it gave me just that if not more. My only regret is not booking for more days. Paola is a gracious and generous host; you can tell everything was curated with warmth and care. From the small laundry bags to the Nespresso pods and Turkish beach towels, it didn’t feel like home - it felt like what home should be.

This stunning property truly feels like a home away from home! The scenic views are absolutely breathtaking, and the host is incredibly responsive and always eager to assist whenever needed. The house is exactly as shown in the pictures, and falling asleep to the soothing sound of the ocean was nothing short of heavenly. Loren’s place was an amazing stay. Checking in was seamless. The hosts were very welcoming. Our long trip away from home with the children felt like home away from home.
