Very spacious fully equipped modern house, super clean, comfortable beds and Catherine gave us very quick response when we messed up with the key. Sorry for this Catherine! Very nice and quiet area - beautiful lake! We would absolutely choose this place again. Highly recommended. Jon

2nd time staying at Katie’s. Really responsive and the cabin was beautiful. Lovely new kitchen, bathroom and spacious bedrooms. The living room was a good size with a large table. Hot tub outside with a view of the fields with horses in and a small lake to the side of the cabin with ducks. We booked some spa treatments which were great for a girls weekend, we had head massage, facial, back massage and body wrap / scrub, the lady that did them was lovely. Really peaceful place and will deffo being staying again for another girls trip, we all loved it. Great that you can also check in at 14:00 so you get pretty much a full day.

Absolutely spot on — hands down the best Airbnb we’ve stayed in to date. Everything was spotless, well thought out, and had everything we needed for a great stay. The host was sound, easy to communicate with, and made the whole process simple from start to finish. Ideal setup for a group of lads — loads of space, proper comfy beds, and a top location. Can’t fault it. Will 100% be booking again.

Lovely place to stay, only 10 minutes from York city centre and the area is so peaceful. Michelle was a great host, she clearly takes pride in hosting as the whole place was clean and tidy! My boyfriend only had one complaint, that we didn’t get more scones! 😂 Overall a wonderful place, would highly recommend to anyone wanting to have a romantic weekend away.

Even down to the finest details, we had everything to hand and couldn’t have possibly needed anything else, the surrounding area was so peaceful and beautiful, we will definitely be returning here! Such a romantic and peaceful getaway. It was a little date weekend for me and it was our first time away together. We had such a lovely time, it was cosy and private which is exactly what we wanted. We were surrounded by beautiful views and had the company of 3 cute little goats and 3 gorgeous highland cows. The local town was a short drive away so could go for walks, get food and grab any little bits we needed. Everything was more or less provided. Even got hot water bottles, socks and hand warmers which was a lovely touch. The hot tub was different to anything I’ve seen before but it worked really well. Loved the outdoor kitchen area, we made use of the BBQ. It’s perfect for 2 people. Would definitely come back

We booked the apartment very last minute as a little getaway. The photos looked great and the apartment did not disappoint. It was spotless. Lots of room and just very very homely. I am recovering from an op and this place was just the tonic. The accommodation and added hot tub were just what I needed. 100% would recommend. Harry was on hand 24/7 and made us feel right at home. Set in a beautiful location with lovely surroundings. I will definitely be visiting again and have recommended to friends and family. Thank you Harry
