This home located steps away from Lake Nacogdoches is a perfect place to relax and enjoy a peaceful time away from home. The space and amenities are exactly as seen in the pictures on the listing. The home is clean, no clutter, fully stocked kitchen for away-from-home meal prep. The common areas are spacious, bedrooms are clutter free, beds are comfortable, and bathrooms stocked well. Although there are nearby neighbors, the area is peaceful with plenty of space in front and back of home to enjoy time outside. The hosts were quick to respond to questions in advance and during our stay. Definitely recommend for families and couples.

The home was easy to find and in a great location. It was very clean and we are very happy that it was pet friendly. Also, the people around the area were super friendly!

John's place was as described. Beautiful house with quiet neighbors. Great place for a larger group. We will definitely be back.

Ashley, thank you so much for sharing your place with us for a few days! My kids and I had such a terrific time! We were able to spend lots of time together, play games, fished (and caught) from the bank, we even swam right out front. The home included everything we needed plus the added bonus of good wifi!!! We will be back!

I cannot say enough great things about "Shore Thing" and it's host Amy! From start to finish, Amy was an amazingly responsive and gracious host! She made sure we had everything we needed to make our vacation an incredible experience. Coming from someone who is in the "people business", I can always tell when someone takes pride in what they do. Amy is DEFINITELY one of those people! Everything in this place was clean, in order, and well-maintained. From the modern updated bathroom and kitchen appliances to the multitude of other amenities, "Shore Thing" is the best place we've ever stayed on Toledo Bend Lake! I HIGHLY recommend this property and especially it's host. Thank you again Amy and "Shore Thing" for making our vacation spectacular!

The cabin as well as the view of the lake are both gorgeous! Looks exactly like the pictures and the hosts were extremely helpful and kind. Will absolutely be recommending this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat🩵

Everything was great. The house was clean and well equipped. We spent time on the porch, the fire pit, and lots of time fishing off the dock. The flat top grill was fantastic for cooking we caught on the fish. Hoping to return!

You'd be hard pressed to find a friendlier host than Jim, who clearly wants the best for his guests. That's very apparent by the care taken to keep the property so beautiful. While enjoying morning coffee, we watched a Bald Eagle soar in from the lake like a fighter jet and perch itself on a pine tree for about a half hour. It was extremely vocal and had the other birds in the area on high alert. Not something we see every day in our neck of the woods. We are already planning to return with the family. The home was very spacious, clean and well kept. There was not anything that we needed during our stay that wasn't provided or available. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks again, Jim! This is a great lake find! The hosts have thought of everything to ensure a comfortable stay! The house is modern, clean, updated, and spacious. The yard is beautiful and the proximity of being lake front is so close! The parking is great and spacious for anyone with a boat. The hot tub is a great and nice addition. Our family loved this house and location and will definitely return.
