Where to begin with my applause for this place! Lovely abode, tucked away in a little jungle oasis but a mere 10 minute walk to the beach & bars etc. Bikes on site which is a fun plus, beach chairs, cooler, scuba gear and more fun toys to enjoy at beach or in the great pool that was so refreshing to jump in after a salty beach day. There is also a washer and dryer that works great, countless different towels to use for pool, beach and showers. The bed was extremely comfy, the bedroom stays nice and cool, the shower has hot water and the porch is a beautiful way to spend an afternoon or evening. Communication is super quick and helpful. We will most definitely return, and bring friends and family to enjoy this wonderful spot. We love Villa Espeval!

What a beautiful, clean, and relaxing space! We had a great stay and really enjoyed the pool in the afternoon shade. Beds were very comfortable, had everything we needed for cooking, water was filtered and delicious, showers were lovely. Overall we had a wonderful time and would definitely book again!!!

Airbnb Review: A Dream Stay in Costa Rica We recently stayed at Brenda’s beautiful Airbnb in Costa Rica, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, Brenda made us feel welcome with her warm and friendly demeanor. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable, even helping us arrange transportation to explore the areas we wanted to tour (a paid service, but so worth it for the convenience). The property itself was a slice of paradise. The home is private and well-maintained, complete with a stunning waterfall pool that was the perfect spot to unwind after a day of adventures. The surrounding jungle views are breathtaking—you feel completely immersed in the natural beauty of this incredible country. We loved it so much that we even found ourselves discussing the possibility of living here permanently. Jackie was an amazing host! She is very willing to help with any questions. She was fun to be with and lives close. The beach was beautiful and safe to swim in. We are a group of 4 couples and the space worked well for us. We highly recommend this property and will return.

Beautiful! The house(s) were perfect for our group. We had 2 families and rented the entire property. The was plenty of privacy but still easy to be together with nice outdoor spaces and pool . The kitchen was stocked with most everything you could need. The beds were comfortable with plenty of closet space. We loved the outdoor showers! The house felt very safe and was in a nice quiet neighborhood. The location was good for accessing Playa Pelada. We walked a few times but it was the dry season so the roads were quite dusty so often drove to park by the beach. Lots of great little restaurants nearby. Try Tico’s Tacos as well as the smoothie cart for breakfast or lunch. Olga’s is great for the sunset and casual drinks and dinner. If you want a real treat for sunset views and amazing food try Coyol. A 30 minute drive but worth it! We had a wonderful experience and Dan the host was helpful and quick to respond to questions and recommendations. Thank you Dan!

Our group of 6 enjoyed our time at Chelsea's house and Samara. Having a pool and so many great spots to enjoy the view made our stay amazing. We didn't want to leave! Rainbow the cat was a great host who made us feel right at home. We heard howler monkeys almost every day and saw them several times plus an iguana and several anoles hung out with us too. We would love to come back again!

We loved Ruth’s home. The layout, while a little odd being separate was perfect for our family. The upstairs master was a quiet haven that we ended up loving. The pool, BBQ and kitchen were a great addition as was Doris. We didn’t follow the key rule and locked ourselves out one night and Doris so graciously came back to unlock the house for us. The monkeys, the quiet little town of Punta Islita and gym were also great additions. We loved our time at Casa de Agua.

Best Air B n B ever! So glad we stayed here. Was a magical 9 days. Very close to amazing beach, easy to get to restaurants. Excellent beds, bedding, kitchen, couches. Everything you need, and extremely comfortable. Perfect for our family.

la literie était confortable et avait une odeur très agréable. la cuisine est bien équipé. le logement est dans une rue tranquille tout peut se faire à pied mais avec la chaleur nous avons préféré prendre la voiture. pour se rendre au logement l adresse gps fournie ne fonctionnait pas mais l annoce contient beaucoup d indications ce qui nous a permis de trouver facilement.. petit conseil si vous entrez dans le gps antonio apartment villa vous serez au bon endroit .

Erica’s place was very nice and comfortable and safe. The deck was a perfect place to eat meals or read. I loved how close it was to the beach and shops and restaurants. If I ever return to Sámara I would definitely stay again.

Beautiful place and amazing staff. Pool was so refreshing and always spotless. Staff were very attentive and willing to please. Amazing location and an easy walk to the beach and delicious local restaurants. Definitely recommend and will hopefully be revisiting soon.

We had a lovely stay at this Airbnb during our last two nights in Santa Teresa! The apartment had everything you need to cook your own meal and chill after a day in Santa Teresa. It was nice that you could park your car / ATV behind the entrance gate. There’s a lot of nice restaurants, a supermarket and a laundry service within walking distance. Marilin was very helpful, providing us with lots of tips for our time in Santa Teresa and helping us rent an ATV. The apartment is tucked away from the main street, which makes it a perfect place to relax.

Yessenia was a really helpful & responsive host - helped coordinate a ride from the airport and was really responsive to any questions we had! Location was great as well, quick walk to the beach. Thank you!

We loved our stay at Kristian and Rosella’s home in Santa Teresa! We felt immediately at home. The place was spotless and exactly as described. It was walkable to many excellent restaurants, such as eat Street and Ani’s. And right across from the beach! I loved the ambience of the pool out front, but unfortunately never had the chance to use it because we were out exploring so much. Kristian was easily accessible and even arranged for us to take a surf lesson. He was able to provide recommended taxis and ATV vendors as well. We enjoyed getting to know him better! Wonderful person who takes pride in providing a wonderful stay to all who visit. We felt so welcomed and hope to cross paths again. Pura Vida!

Great location! Walkable to everything in Playa Guiones while feeling nice and private. Host were proactive with check-in instructions making it an easy arrival and stay.

We come every year and are always so happy and grateful for Andrew and JoAnne's place. It is just perfect for us and reminds us every time why we love to be down in Pelada. A simple walk to the beach, a spacious home with beautiful accents that captures more of the Costa Rica feel. It is close to everything but secluded too. We love it!!! (Just don't reserve our time down there ;-). Thank you Andrew and Joanne, always great to work with.

A Hidden Gem – 10/10! This place was our favorite stay in Costa Rica! The condo is beautiful, fully equipped, and right on the beach with stunning views—even from the balcony. The pool area is lovely, with plenty of seating to relax. Junquillal is a quiet, charming retreat. We mostly cooked at home, but there are restaurants and a grocery store nearby. Tamarindo is just 40 minutes away, perfect for day trips. The condo includes boogie boards, surfboards, and beach gear. The surfboards were a bit advanced for us, but the amazing property manager delivered a foam board—such a highlight! Perfect surf out back, poolside afternoons, and sunset walks filled with seashells made this trip unforgettable. Highly recommend—worth booking! We’ll be back!

We had a great experience in Samara. Karen's place was centrally located. It is on a busy street but the sounds did not disturb us. Space worked really well for our family. Kitchen was easy to work in with lots of of varied pots and pans. The internet and electrical issues were attended to and resolved as soon as possible. Hosts were nice. We felt at home and loved being in Samara. Beautiful beach. Nice pool. A great place to stay!

This is best air bnb we’ve stayed in (and we’ve stayed in a lot)! This place felt like paradise. The apartment was so clean and beautiful - the space felt even bigger than the photos showed. Spyros was super responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The pool is a beautiful place to watch the sunset and we were joined by monkeys a couple of times which was incredible! I recommend this place SO much and I hope one day I am lucky enough to come back.

We stayed in the Condo for over a month and the place was a great location. The condo is well equipped for a young family and has everything you need. The host and manager are great at dealing with any issues and they actively try to solve any problems or request promptly. The A/C and fans was perfect for the climate and the family had no problems sleeping in the condo. The swimming pool is perfect for both younger and older children and they can be supervised comfortably from the Rancho. The laundry facilities work well and are big enough to accommodate a family wash when needed. A shop on the corner for most ingredients and cold drinks. The surrounding neighbours are so kind and engaging with us and the children and we often shared breakfast or drinks outside with them. The people here really do make the stay safe and more enjoyable. The wildlife in the immediate area is incredible from monkeys and iguanas to horses and coati’s all while having a coffee on the balcony. Thank you!

Great stay! Easy walk to the beach and to town. Great shared pool area with very friendly residents within the condo complex. Definitely recommend staying here for a quiet and relaxing Costa Rica vacation.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay! The pool was great and the beaches nearby were a lovely addition. The kitchen is fully equipped which we really appreciated. Far enough away from all the hustle and bustle of tourists but close enough to pop into town for the day should you choose to explore Tamarindo. The hosts were a pleasure to deal with from the start to finish. Clean, quiet and accessible.
