Costa Rica is an incredible country, and we were thrilled with our stay in Marbella, which is a hidden gem. Mihaela is a welcoming, caring and knowledgeable host whose house is comfortable, beautiful, clean and has everything we needed. It has a beautiful backyard with a lovely pool. We slept really well in the comfortable beds listening to the jungle sounds. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could need for cooking and the house is beautifully furnished. There's a large community pool right around the corner if you want to swim laps.

Great location only a stroll to the gilded iguana and many other great spots. Place felt very big and more than enough for 2 kids and 2 adults. Would and definitely am staying again! Simone also made it very easy to have a car waiting at the airport for us and arrange any thing we needed to make the trip seamless.

Beautiful home, although remote has a beautiful location with gorgeous sunset and views. We were a party of 9 and had more than enough room. One recommendation I would suggest if planning on eating in at all attempt to buy your groceries at a super compre (in a larger area) as the groceries were incredibly expensive at the local “convenient” stores or have them get your groceries as offered for a $ 100 American fee. Would be worth it I think if they were purchasing from one of the larger stores, and save yourself aggravation.

Magical Memories Made! Casa Nube was everything and more than we could have asked for 6-8 adults during our 10-day stay! The jungle and sunset views, the multiple gathering spaces inside and out well-appointed kitchen were greatly appreciated! The monkeys greeted us morning and evening with their howls- yet not excessively and we didn’t always see them. Birds galore to watch and listen to! Both Helena and Maria were extremely responsive, kind and warm. Tucked away in privacy yet minutes away from 2 world-class beaches and the charming town of Samara! Restaurant recommendations were excellent. We spent a lot of time just relaxing in this beautiful space! This home was built with love and to fully experience the beautiful nature around it. It was a welcome retreat to return to after excursions snorkeling, horseback riding, hiking, Belen waterfall, scarlet makaws, zip lining, etc. The pool was refreshing and rejuvenating! We can’t wait to return to this slice of heaven!

Where to start with Casa Ibu - it may be hard to believe but it’s even better in real life then the photos. We had the pleasure of staying here with our family for Christmas 2024, during which Jonathon looked after us so well. He is such a friendly informative host and clearly cares so much for the place and about his guests stay. The house itself is incredible - finished to such a high spec, this villa is true luxury. Jonathon has design it down to all the finer details and we really did not want to leave. If you are a big group you can rent the whole house, for smaller groups, Jonathon has other properties of a similar design that also looked amazing. Situated to the north of Playa Hermosa, whilst needing a car, it is perfectly placed to get to the beach, go shopping or out for dinner in town, and then retreat home to the wonderful tranquil wildness of Casa Ibu. We hope to be back before too long. Thank you Jonathon. 🙏

Stayed here for a month with our 2 toddlers. The home was clean and super comfortable, had everything we needed for our stay, and the location was fantastic. It was an easy drive into town to hang out at the beach and local restaurants, but we also loved spending time at the home in the pool (with a view of the howler monkeys, butterflies, and gorgeous birds). On top of everything, Louis was an amazing host - responsive and had great recommendations for everything we needed. Cannot recommend this place enough - we’ve already booked our next stay!

Wow wow wow!! Paradise on earth! Go to sleep to the sound of waves hitting the shore, wake up to a sunrise walk on the beach, head next door for delicious sunset drinks or just down the beach for delicious sushi and spa. And if you surf, even better! Kevin's property is the perfect blend of creature comforts and low key beachfront vibes. I couldn't have been happier. Kevin and his team are super responsive and always there to help, and the property is both private and central to anything you would want to do in or around Santa Teresa. I will be back for sure!

This house was our home for a couple of weeks, and it was exactly right. It's beautiful and spacious, surrounded by lush landscape, wonderful details. It was the perfect location for us, as we were a group of friends all doing different things that were all accessible - surfing, yoga, ceramics classes, etc. The house was also great for everyone to hang out in the together comfortably and go swimming in the beautiful pool and make meals together. There was a beautiful pixote that visited, and a family of howler monkeys that ate the little papaya tree in the yard. Heaven! This place is perfect, and in a perfect location. Would book again for our next Nosara trip for sure.

The Villas were absolutely stunning. The kitchens were fully equipped overlooking beautiful views and infinity pools. Each bedroom had comfy king beds and full ensuite bathrooms. It was the perfect place to connect with family away from touristy places. But also a short drive to a variety of beaches. Our host, Fabrice, responded to my many questions from the start of reserving the villas and throughout our stay. He was the nicest person. The property and the villas were immaculate. The tourist town of Tamarindo is just over a 30 minute drive. We preferred the beaches closer to the villa as they were less crowded and perfect for swimming and surfing. Playa Negra was our favourite. And a couple of good restaurants in the town. We also did a hike in a National park near Santa Cruze, but staying on the property with all its amenities and bird life and monkeys in the distant trees is an attraction itself. Be sure to use the location coordinates to find the villas. Better than we imagined!

A year later, and we found ourselves back with Anna at Samara Serenity in Costa Rica. This villa is such a perfect tropical escape with its laid-back yet luxurious Costa Rica vibes. The private pool, the open-concept design and indoor-outdoor living was such a great space to enjoy with our family and friends, so much room! We love the location—just minutes from Samara Beach with tons of local adventuring. We chose to surf for the stay, but there was also zip-lining and horseback riding on the beach. We chilled in the evening, enjoying the sunset from the upstairs patio. Anna made everything easy. Everything you need tours, recommendations, private chef, she's amazing! The villa itself is immaculate—modern, well-equipped, and incredibly comfortable. Honestly, we had everything we needed any more. This place is so great, we can't wait to book it again when plan Costa Rica trip #3 happen.

Amazing property and beautiful view. Looks just like the photos. Stayed with our 5 kids - plenty of rooms/beds and bathrooms made it very comfortable. Ronald, the property manager was sooo helpful - booked us a chef, fishing and was always in contact with us. Road into punta islita was a bit rough for the van that we rented - 4x4 would have been better. Can’t wait to come back! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Absolutely beautiful house with amazing views of the coast line. The house was very clean and comfortable and looks exactly as pictured. The house feels very private and sits at the top of a a steep winding road, but we did not need 4 wheel drive. We had a great time and would stay again.

Our stay at Villa Lola was amazing. We had 3 families stay there and we all felt so comfortable and relaxed. They made everything so easy for us. You can walk everywhere from there and if you can’t, David will help with any transportation, and/or activity you would like to do.

Patricia and Susan are the best hosts imaginable! They were beyond helpful, were extremely thoughtful, offered many useful tips - like notifying us when there is about to be a baby turtle release - and always responded to any questions within minutes. It was as if they made it their personal mission to make sure we had the best time possible. Their house is magnificent, with lots of wonderful touches. It is only a few minutes walk to beautiful beaches and there is a large, lovely pool we spent a lot of time in with our family. Several very good and reasonably-priced restaurants are nearby - our favourite was Restaurante Lonchitos , which the seafood lovers in our group said was one of their all-time favourites anywhere. I would highly recommend Patricia's place to anyone wanting to spend time in Costa Rica. .

Wow. What a beautiful private place looking out over the jungle. Before we went to dinner a family of monkeys came by and they were enjoying the trees. The pool was gorgeous and private. We noticed some negative reviews six months ago but the place was remodeled and was very nice. We almost didn’t book due to the review. We are very glad we did not. Walking distance to top restaurant La Luna. Short walk to the beach. Definitely would go back. Local Host Kattia was responsive and professional.

Sibylle’s place is paradise for one to commune with the outstanding natural beauty of the country; where you feel like a guest of the surrounding flora and fauna, and feel an intimate connection with the very private beach. It is the only one of four properties where we stayed that had illustrated lists of Costa Rican Mammals, Reptiles, etc. in the cabana. You may find yourself walking on the beach twice or more each day. It is that easy. You can hear the waves day and night. There is no AC, but the proximity to the wind coming off the ocean and the three ceiling fans more than made up for lack of AC! The owner, Sibylle, with her late husband, began creating this ideal oasis decades ago, and she continues to provide loving care of this very special property. Her quiet presence only adds to the richness of your stay. This is a place for those who seek renewal, as well as for those who find great joy in intimately experiencing nature in its many beautiful forms. We can't wait to return!

Wonderful house, location and host! So many great restaurants within just a few minutes of the house. Absolutely stunning views. The pictures don't do it justice. Our only concern was the construction next door, but Mary was very up-front about that. Overall, our favorite Airbnb that we've stayed at! Would absolutely go back.

Our stay exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we arrived until our departure, Juan was incredibly available, always ready to answer our many questions with patience and care. His recommendations were absolutely fantastic, allowing us to experience unforgettable moments. Thanks to him, we had the chance to witness a magical sight: hundreds of turtles on the beach at sunrise… a memory we will cherish forever! As for the accommodation, it was simply perfect—beautiful, clean, well-equipped, and secure. A true haven of peace. We wholeheartedly recommend Juan to anyone looking to rent in Nosara. A huge thank you for everything!

Casa Jobo is the perfect place in Nosara - far enough away from the crowds but close enough when you want to partake in Guiones activities. Additionally, the property is amazing as it was the perfect size for us and for friends when they visited. The pool and the outside property is beautiful and David and the rest of the team are exceptional - always there for you when you need. Can't wait to be back!

This place is a little slice of heaven. The view, the pool and terrace, the nicely appointed bedrooms and bathrooms! If you are at all on the fence to secure this spot, just do it. We would stay here again in a heartbeat for the view and pool alone.

The only issue we had was upon arrival we could not get access to the house as the cleaning lady mistakenly took the keys home with her. Our neighbor helped us out by calling Raymond and locating a key for us...a slight mishap. Other than that our stay was wonderful. Raymond was very quick to answer all our questions and provide recommendations for restaurants. The location was great, very quiet and rural. Access to a few of the beaches just a short drive away ( 5 mins). The place was superb. very clean and well taken care of. The pool was great! Would highly recommend the surrounding restaurants as the food was delicious. Very authentic. The local grocery stores carry majority of your needs. Overall the hosts were fantastic and we had a fabulous time. So happy we chose this place and should we return to that part of Costa Rica again would definitely go there. Highly recommend it!!

We loved staying Aaron’s home, it felt like an oasis with a beautiful garden and private pool. It was only a few minutes walk to Playa Guiones, with walkable distance to surf board rentals, cafes and delicious restaurants. The home was beautifully appointed with comfortable beds and lots of storage. We felt welcomed and well taken care of at every turn, muchas gracias Aaron!

Vi hade en toppen vistelse! Det var enkelt att ta sig dit och fantastiskt skönt att ha gångavstånd till hermosa stranden. Vi testade även bo i santa Teresa, men lugnet i hermosa va oslagbart och denna strand var överlägset vackrast och enligt mig roligast surf. Kommer garanterat komma tillbaka till detta boende nästa gång.
