Great place in the middle of everything. We really enjoyed the stayed with the family.

We enjoyed our stay at the Lapa house. Carrillo is a nice quiet village and it’s a < 10 min walk to the beach. The accommodations were comfortable and Pia was very quick to respond to any questions or provide us with anything we needed.

Wonderful location within walking distance to the beach and to local restaurants. The house was spacious and had a nice shaded pool and patio. The host was hard to get ahold of prior to our arrival, however, we had much better communication once we got to town. The house had plenty of room for a large group— the downstairs bedroom had two bunk beds that slept four people, the second bedroom had a queen size bed and a bunk bed, and the master bedroom had a king size bed. The hosts provided a safe, an alarm and a guard at night during evening hours which helped us feel safe. The design of the house is modern and simple. We loved our stay and would return again.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Luna. It was very clean, well equipped, and very comfortable inside and out. Sitting on the porch in the morning was so relaxing. Beautiful trees and flowering shrubs, birds singing, and cooling shade. It is literally a two minute walk to the beautiful pool just across the way. A very convenient spot to go to the beach...Playa Blanca, Playa Negra, and Playa Avenella a short drive. Several very good restaurants just down the road. We found everyone to be so welcoming and helpful during our time in Junquiall. We are hoping to get back to Costa Rica soon and would be very lucky if we are able to stay at Casa Luna on our next trip. Thank you Georgina!

Erin & Peter are great host, they are great communicating if anything happens or needs to be addressed. House is stunning with a priceless view of the beach. About a ten minute ride into Nosara. You can tell Erin & Peter care about their tenants and that is worth a lot when traveling. Highly recommend!

Un lugar para desconectarse de todo, ver el amanecer, los atardeceres y las noches con luna hacen que uno pierda el son del tiempo. No ibamos de vacaciones, fuimos mas bien por trabajo, pero aun asi logramos que la naturaleza nos sacara un poco de la rutina. Exc internet para trabajar Todo estuvo muy bonito

Simon is a wonderful host, very responsive. He provided lots of great recommendations for restaurants and activities. The House was great, it had everything you could need. Simon even provided a few starter groceries which was very much appreciated! The pool and hiking trails were fun activities. The location of the house is close to the beach, lots of great restaurants and some activities. But you absolutely need a car. While these things are close it's not very safe to walk to them. We decided not to get a rental car thinking we could easily book drivers, but that also wasn't so easy in this area. There's no Uber or taxi service. You need to book your activities (a day at the beach or even dinner) well in advance with a local tour operator.

What an awesome place! My family and I stayed in this beauty for 17 days and it was simply amazing. The pictures are good, but even better in person. The views are simply breathtaking. The condo was very clean and well equipped with everything to make you feel right at home. The beds and furniture were comfy. We will definitely be back and stay at Maria's! Pura Vida

Pura vida at its max. Pure relaxation, comfort, safety. Zeidy’s food absolute perfection, the kids kept saying it wasn’t even real, calling it dream food. Pool is bigger than what the pictures show, beach wonderful, restaurant down the road a neat little touch for a dinner. We got horses and massages right at the house. The team is fantastic and Jose was wonderful to line it all up. Our private driver that Jose arranged was just wonderful and accommodating to any needs. We would give 10 stars if we could, just like other reviews. Stay here. Or don’t, which will clear up more space in the calendar for us to come back :) :)

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Drei traumhafte Monate in diesem wunderschönen Haus! Die Ruhe war himmlisch und die Lage direkt am Meer unschlagbar - fast täglich sind wir schwimmen gegangen. Die Aufteilung des Hauses war perfekt für uns. Und das Privileg in so einem Haus zu wohnen war für uns aussergewöhnlich. Danke Roxana. Als Gastgeberin warst du sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und hast alles wunderbar organisiert. Diese fantastischen Wochen werden unvergesslich bleiben und wir wollen gerne wiederkommen!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

The appartement is very close to the lovely Playa Pelada and just a 15 mins walk from Playa Nosara. It is a quite place and you have a litte shop and some restaurants super close by. Also the kitchen in the appartement is quite functional, if you preferre to cook yourself. And is hot : ) Federica is a nice host, commundation with her is fast and easy. Thank you for a nice stay, Federica.

Erik's place is perfect if you love nature. There is a beautiful open vista whichever direction you look and we regularly saw the howler monkeys both front and back. The hummingbirds were at the feeders all the time and would hover incredibly close to us at the front of the house. A beautiful coati was also a regular visitor snuffling for food. The turtle nesting beach at Ostional is about a 15 minute drive if you take it slow over the unpaved road. The local roads are in a poor state but there is little traffic and we managed fine in a rental 4x4 (Daihatsu Terios). There is a decent grocery store in Nosara (about 10 minutes drive) Overall, we would definitely recommend staying at Erik's place.

Great place, even better than the photos! About a 15-20 minute walk to the main town in Samara or the beach. Cindry was super responsive and easy to communicate with. We were lucky enough to see some howler monkeys hanging out in the trees above one morning! Highly recommended place to stay if visiting Samara!

Das Haus ist perfekt für einen Strand Aufenthalt. Wir haben uns nach einer Rundreise durch Costa Rica hier noch erholt. Adrian und die Haushälterin Roxana sind sehr hilfsbereit. In der unteren Etage ist die große Küche und oben die 4 Zimmer. Alles in allem gut ausgestattet. Die Betten waren gemütlich und durch die Ventilatoren auch bei wärmeren Temperaturen ok. Der Strandzugang ist auch toll. Ab und zu hatten Pferde vor dem Zaun als Gast, kleine und größere Echsen und freche Bunthörnchen.

Our family had a fabulous stay this past week at Patrick’s place. The photos don’t do the house and grounds justice. We watched the sun rise over the hills and set over the Pacific from the benches at the top of the cliffs each day. As others mentioned, the wildlife was never far away. We watched whales while swimming in the pool and were able to see howler monkeys, parrots and a big fat toad in the area daily. There was also a family of white faced monkeys not too far down the street. The house was quiet, pool was refreshing and the bedroom ACs kept the rooms cool at night. Dimas wasn’t far away if anything was needed and always responded quickly. Enjoy the beauty of the area and everything Carrillo and Samara have to offer from this location. We look forward to returning again next year.

Super logement très confortable peut être loin un peu mais pour nous c'est ce que nous voulions , extrêmement intime. Singe hurleur dans la cours.

Appartement pratique pour 2 couples. Nous avions 2 chambres et une cuisine séparés. L'environnement était confortable. Il y avait beaucoup de règles à suivre sur un peu tous les aspects, ce qui rend probablement l'endroit aussi propre. Nous n'avons pas rencontré les hôtes, mais ils ont été très proactifs dans leurs réponses quand nous avons eu des besoins et/ou des problèmes. Séjour très agréable.

Great location only a stroll to the gilded iguana and many other great spots. Place felt very big and more than enough for 2 kids and 2 adults. Would and definitely am staying again! Simone also made it very easy to have a car waiting at the airport for us and arrange any thing we needed to make the trip seamless.

La vue était spectaculaire, la plus belle que nous ayons eu la chance de voir ! Notre arrivée a été très facile grâce à Luis ainsi que les activités. La communication était 10/10. L’endroit était parfait, et que dire des singes hurleurs chaque matin ! 🫶🏽 La piscine était un gros plus pour les enfants. Merci à Shannon d’avoir partagé sa maison avec nous. Pura Vida

Ellos fueron muy amables y atentos, siempre pendientes a nosotros, el lugar tiene vistas hermosas, disfrutamos demasiado los atardeceres desde la casa, alejado de la bulla de la ciudad, mucha naturaleza la vista al mar es una maravilla, las camas súper ricas, la cocina con todo para preparar alimentos, los baños muy limpios y agradables!!! Gracias por recibirnos!

Das Haus liegt sehr schön am Strand in einem ruhigen Quartier. Da das Haus offen ist, muss man wissen, dass Krebse oder andere Tierchen ihren Weg hineinfinden. Da es gerade am Meer liegt, hat es viele Mücken. Ohne Moskitonetz schlafen geht kaum. Ich empfehle den Gastgeber fixe Moskitonetze zu montieren. Somit hat man mehr Platz in den Betten. Wir hatten nur so mobile Netze und mussten dann getrennt schlafen, da es zu zwei zu eng gewesen wäre. Der Pool ist fantastisch und in der Küche hats alles zum kochen. Auch gibt es ausreichend Badetücher. Die Besitzer sind super nett und haben uns herzlichst begrüsst. Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt minus die Mückenplage.

Es un lugar hermoso la casa es muy espaciosa, bien equipada con todo lo que necesitas y más, además la piscina siempre está limpia. Hay mucha tranquilidad y cero ruido desde el tercer piso tienes una vista increíble, debes de considerar que las playas si están un poco alejadas y los caminos no están en muy buen estado. Gerardo su Administrator es muy amable y siempre está atento a lo que necesites. En fin toda mi familia disfruto mucho, esperamos regresar.

This is a remote location and private. Beautiful, well-built, modern home that matches all the pictures. Very nice pool and landscaping. The road to the house is a bit rough as many roads are in CR. However, we never needed 4 wheel drive and we were visiting during rainy season and it was certainly rainy the week we were there. Fabrice and Miho live very close and were always available without ever being intrusive. We had one small issue with the dryer (probably operator error) and Fabrice was real quick to come over and fix whatever it was we were doing wrong. There are many beaches within 15-60 minutes from the house. Our favorite was Playa Real. Beautiful, quiet beach and we were the only patrons when we visited. It was quite an adventure getting there with sketchy roads. But it was a much better than the tourist trap beaches like Tamarindo. Several decent restaurants within 30 minutes of the location. But again, this is a remote location which is what we were looking for.

Huber was a wonderful host. He was super responsive when we had questions. We loved staying here. The deck overlooking the jungle is fabulous and the swings make it so wonderful! It was beautiful sitting out there for morning coffee and meditation, naps and evening star and moon gazing. The Chalet was very clean and the staff came each week to clean, change the sheets/ towels which we really appreciated. There's a path that you can walk to the beach so you don't have to get into your car. The Saturday Farmers Market is great and during the week we were able to get what we needed from the bodega in the center of town. We will definitely be back
