I have visited Gangtok several times, and previously, I preferred hotels near MG Marg. This trip was different; I planned a road trip to Sikkim with my wife and daughter, so I needed a place in Gangtok with parking. This property met all my requirements, so I booked it. Upon check-in, my expectations for Airbnbs and homestays were exceeded. The cleanliness was exceptional, every item was perfectly placed, and all amenities were provided. The mountain view from my room was breathtaking. We were welcomed with tea and delicious homemade cookies. We had pre-ordered lunch, and our host prepared a wonderful chicken dish with homemade chutney, which surpassed my expectations. Our host was incredibly helpful. Whenever I return to Gangtok, I will certainly book this property again.

What's special about this place? EVERYTHING!! 1. Hospitality: to be honest ...it didn't feel like we were away from home for even once. The owners are very warm hearted, loving and take care of everything without even leaving anything to complain about. They even invited us in for traditional drink - Tongba (I am sorry, if i have murdered the spelling). It was really inspiring to see how they have preserved their traditional values like this. 2. Location: This place little bit off the main road which leads to the most amazing feature of this place - serenity. You will listen to the rooster at 4 in the morning, the moment sun rises , birds starts chirping. The impeccable view of sunrays falling on the kanchenjunga peak is beyond explanation. And the lush green surroundings with Rhododendrons all over the place will make you fall in love with this place. 3. Food: They cook the food with lot of love and nutrients. Although, sikkim is an organic state but their food quality will make you lick your fingers everytime you take a bite. Cleanliness: Sparkling clean!! That's all I want to say. I just want to give one example about how they took care of every teenie tiny thing when we were there: "They put one pair of scissors for cutting the coffee sachets in the room. " I have never seen such gesture anywhere. I just loved this place .

We had a wonderful stay at Birendra's Airbnb! The place boasts a modern touch with stunning infrastructure, surrounded by lush tea gardens and serene forests truly a nature lover's paradise. Birendra was an exceptional host, always communicative and eager to help with any questions we had. One of the highlights was the delicious home-cooked meals prepared by his family; they were a delightful addition to our experience. The cleanliness of the space was impeccable making us feel right at home. The surrounding attractions, including scenic trails and local tea plantations, provided ample opportunities for exploration and relaxation. Overall, this was a perfect getaway spot for anyone looking to unwind in nature. Highly recommend!

This place is just heaven for people who loves peaceful stays. Right near the MG road area, this place has a lots to offer. You get the beautiful Garden with surrounding hill view. The beautiful cozy room with good surrounding views. Once you enter the property, you get fragrance of beautiful flowers from the Garden. And the cherry on top is chirping of birds in the morning. this stay felt just right like the home.. Loved the local food prepared by Karma's family. also Karma was very responsive and helpful host throughtout our stay... I will definitely come back here in my next sikkim visit... Highly recommend for folks who loves nature and peaceful stays along with some local vibes.

Superhost! Our stay at this homestay in Gangtok was truly wonderful! The property is beautifully maintained and equipped with all the amenities one could need. Nestled amidst nature, it offers a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. Getting there can be a bit tricky, but it's worth the journey. The host was incredibly polite, welcoming, and eager to help, making us feel right at home. We were lucky to visit during Diwali and got to learn so much about the local culture and traditions, which added a unique touch to our experience. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay in Badamtam in Rebika ji’s house. It’s a very pretty house, with thoughtfully decorated interiors and spacious balconies having great views of the surrounding mountains and tea gardens. Rebika ji is an amazing host and made us feel right at home from the moment we had checked in. Her home cooked meals were delicious and always served hot and with lots of love ❤️. We also enjoyed bonfire every evening and Rebika ji prepared a lovely barbecue along with the bonfire on new year eve 🥰. Rebika ji’ son Ashu was very helpful and courteous. He showed us around the place and took us to nice view points. It’s pet friendly which was an addendum advantage to us. Overall we had an awesome and fun stay in Rebika ji’s place and would like to visit again. Thanks Rebika ji for your wonderful hospitality and warmth for us!

I recently stayed at Newa house and had a wonderful experience. Dhana Di was incredibly welcoming and ensured I felt right at home before we arrived at her place. The location of the homestay was perfect for me. It was in a quiet. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. I loved the attention to detail, from the fresh flowers on the spacious balcony - where we friends could have an excellent time together to cleanliness in the bathrooms. The beds were comfortable, ensuring we had a great night’s sleep. One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional cooperation and help from the host. We are grateful to the host for serving us hot, delicious, tasty food. The warm hospitality, comfortable accommodations, and delicious food made for an unforgettable stay. I highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a home away from home.

I had an incredible stay at Little Singamari Homestay in Darjeeling. Hosts Ramila and her husband were warm and hospitable, making me feel completely at home. Alka and her sister, the staff member, was always attentive and cheerful, ensuring every need was met. The rooms and washrooms were impeccably clean, with thoughtful touches like bed warmers and extra blankets that made the stay cozy and comfortable. Spending time with their adorable pet dogs, Lucy and River, added extra joy to my experience. My only suggestion would be to replace the white lights with warmer ones and add bedside lamps for a cozier ambiance. Overall, the hospitality, cleanliness, and attention to details made this a truly memorable stay. Thank you Ramila for the yummiest Thupka and Momos🍜 .The stay did feel like home, indeed.
