We love our stay at the villa. It’s gated and private with direct access to the lake behind the house. On clear days you can see the three volcanoes at the lake. The house is surrounded by beautiful gardens. Very peaceful, you can hear birds singing. The interior is beautiful and cozy for the four of us. The house manager Juan is there during the day and took great care of us during our stay. We love that we are just a few steps from the center of the village with a church, market and few local shops. Santa Catalina Palopo is a charming, small, very local village. Just 10-15 mins tuk tuk ride away from Panajachel where you can catch public boat to visit other parts of the lake. We are glad we picked this place as our home base during our visit.

My family and I loved this place! The house and the yacht club grounds are beautiful and we had fun using the pool. Vanessa was the best! She showed us around when we first arrived, got us groceries that we had forgotten, and cleaned every morning. Would definitely recommend this house!

Es una casa muy bonita, con una hermosa vista al lago, el personal es muy amable y siempre estuvieron al pendiente resolviendo nuestras dudas. Mis familiares y yo pasamos unas agradables vacaciones en este lugar. Los anfitriones muy amables

La casa de Mutty es el lugar perfecto para relajarse en familia. La vista al Lago Atitlan y volcanes es asombrosa. El entorno natural crea una ambiente de paz y conexión con la naturaleza. Cada rincon de la propiedad fue aprovechado por mi grupo. Nuestro favorito fue el mirador. Alojamiento perfecto para grupo familiar.

Excelente lugar para descansar, ambiente agradable para disfrutar con la familia, lo disfrutamos al máximo, esperamos volver pronto

Julia and Daniel's place was beautiful. The place was clean and as mentioned in the listing. They also provided coffee, sugar, salt/pepper etc. Including filtered water. Daniel also arranged to have requested groceries ready for us through the property manager Bartolo who was very helpful and always available to answer questions. I got locked out of the laundry room and he came right away to open the door for us. We enjoyed the warm hot tub/pool with beautiful surroundings. We would definitely stay here again.

The house is beautiful, the view is breathtaking. The house is very comfortable and clean. The only downside is the AC situation. There is no AC on the house. The host was kind enough to get us a fan but it was only one and we were using both rooms. Other than that, great airbnb

Bonito lugar para pasar un fin de semana, el lugar es súper acogedor y el jacuzzi muy cómodo y completo, no es muy turístico y no hay nada que hacer. La vista es preciosa, pero el lado en el que el Lago comienza no es recomendable meterse, ya que las personas lavan su ropa y también se bañan en el lago. Lo recomiendo! Pero lleven un itinerario para ver qué pueden hacer fuera del pueblo, porque no hay nada que hacer o visitar. Héctor fue muy amable y servicial.

La casa es preciosa, espaciosa muy limpia y muy bien cuidada, la atención de Patty muy buena y el señor Santos y sus hijos muy amables, las vistas desde la casa son hermosas, el lugar es muy tranquilo, definitivamente volveré en otra ocasión

Carlos is an extremely friendly and responsive host who lives on the property in a separate fully contained unit. His motto," Mi casa es tu casa" is evident in all the interactions. He provides eggs from his 14 chickens to start your day. The main house that you stay in has two bedrooms with queen size beds that are comfortable. There are two lofts with steep ladders that could accommodate more but we did not use. There is another attached unit with a queen sized bed and kitchen but we did not use them. The kitchen has all the utensils you need but could be organized a little better as it feels a little cluttered. There is a water filtration system in the house for your drinking water. We had ample hot water for showers but not in the sink in the bathroom. The area feels very safe and for Pana is relatively quiet except for occasional barking dogs. The house has a lovely garden that Carlos takes a lot of pride in and is frequently watering. Overall, it provides a good value..

Irene and Sven’s home was an extremely special place. The surrounding area, the perfect views of the volcanos + lake Atitlan, and of course the expansive gardens that offered a natural connection, was truly unique. This impressive home/location but also with such kind and accommodating hosts, was the perfect combination.

El lugar era muy amplio. Los cuartos grandes, de techos altos y muy ventilado. Tuvimos la facilidad de dejar las maletas antes de la entrada y después de la salida. Nos gusto mucho el lugar!

Todo muy bien, la piscina muy bonita, la casa con suficiente espacio para convivir y parqueo grande. El jardín muy bien cuidado.

We absolutely loved this place! It is such a beautiful and tastefully decorated apartment! It is spacious, cool, cozy and just so well equipped. The host even placed some flowers and fresh fruit for us. The apartment has a huge private terrace and the place is just so well equipped with a full kitchen, cooking necesities, a large fresh water tap, hairdryer, smart tv, super comfortable bed, extra blankets, a perfect (hot!) shower, a private parking, we could not fault a thing! Just a few things to keep in mind: the appartment is not in the city centre, so a 10-15 min walk or short tuctuc ride. The appartment does not have airco but fans, but was perfect for the temperature in Panajachel and the fans worked perfect. Although we really like Panajachel, as we felt it is just the most authentic and people are so nice! I can imagine it might not be for everyone. It is the main hub to go to all other villages around the lake, so we found that a big plus! All in all would 100% recommend!!
