Great house and location for exploring Joshua Tree (only 20 minutes away). Everything in the house is new and the sunsets are fantastic. Christina and Marcos respond quickly to questions you may have. Don't miss The Yucca Valley Eatery and Sky High Pie in Joshua Tree when you visit. In Joshua Tree the rock climbing, trail hikes and even star gazing are fantastic.

We loved the dome! The location was perfect. It felt private and the property is big, but still close to shops. All the artwork and furniture are so much nicer than most Airbnb homes. It was truly a unique and beautiful space that we would love to come back to someday. It also can really hold a larger group in a comfortable and not cramped way.

My friends and I had a great time at this place! Tony was great and communicative when I had questions! If you plan to cook here, remember to bring your extra spices since there is only salt and pepper! Loved the spiral staircase and it was just a great experience! Would definitely recommend and come back!

Great place to stay with a big group! My family loved it! Feels like home, cozy, spacious, comfortable, and cannot forget its beautiful decor. We couldn’t have asked for anything else. We had everything we needed and so much more!

The only thing that was unclear about the start is where the thermostat was, but the owner was very responsive and made everything easy. Was a fun house to stay in. Might like to do it again!

What a relaxing place to spend some time. It exceeded our expectations. kitchen was well equipped and the home had everything we needed. Scraped my knuckles getting in the front door so be careful. The dome was everything I hoped for. I plan on going back!

I had never been to Joshua Tree which was a unique experience that all started with our stay here at the super cute Desert Dome! What a fun way to glamp. My husband and I appreciated the very comfortable bed, coffee maker, mini fridge, and bedside lights, & string lights. I knew the shower was outside but was happy to find the bathroom (toilet & sink) were connected to the room. Unfortunately for us, out of anyone's control, it was downpour rain and wind gusts galore at night BUT that Dome is solid - did not move/shake even though it sounded CRAZY outside. During our stay, we had several questions and our host promptly responded which we appreciated. Tips - arrive before dark 1st night to get your bearings on the lay of land for the key and generator (headlamp to be hands free). Due to weather we didn't get to use the bbq, fire pit, or outdoor shower (wind knocked that down) but hope to be back one day to enjoy those inviting amenities. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Shawna was very responsive and very nice. We had a bike breakdown, and they were very helpful and understanding about letting us leave it there and go pick it up in the afternoon the day after. Would recommend to anyone wanting to go to Joshua Tree.

The home was great for our two families (4 adults and 4 kids, one of the kids is less than 2 years old). It had a dedicated play room downstairs which was very very well stocked with board games, sleds, wii games complete with a lot of accessories, and snowball making tools. The backyard was also huge and the kids were able to build an ice mountain, have a snowball fight, and make snow angels without having to leave the property. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking pots / pans / counter appliances / tea / coffee. The only comment I will make is that the 4th room (the second room on the top floor with a queen bed) is not actually enclosed. There is a wall and a door but the wall stops before it reaches the ceiling. That means that the bedroom is subject to all the noise of everything going on in the living space. It was perfectly fine for us as we put the baby in another room but just something to be mindful of.

We had the best stay! I can’t say enough…our host was friendly, responsive and very willing to accommodate. Such a unique place and very accommodating. Everything was spotless and they thought of everything. There is so much to do on the water front and the jacuzzi was an amazing plus. We loved it and definitely will be back.

This Airbnb stay was fantastic! The host was welcoming, and the property was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The location was perfect, close to national park and town. We had a relaxing experience, and everything exceeded expectations. Highly recommend this spot for anyone visiting the area!

The dome was so so cozy! From start to finish, Bailey ensured that we had a great stay. We encountered some bad weather the first night and so could not drive up until the next day. In response, they offered a late check out and even to stay an extra night without charge. When we are in Big Bear again, no doubt we will be staying here!

We booked this space because we wanted to be off the beaten track, with great views, peace but with easy access to Joshua Tree. This space is special. Inside is contemporary, open plan. The mezzanine with disco ball and window bed funky, the bedroom downstairs and bathroom modern, sympathetic and serene. There is a dining space for 6 and kitchen with eat at bar. A built in sofa space completes. The outside space made it for us, with fire pit, sofa seating and table for 6, and with a hot tub that heats up super quickly, and icy cold pool with views to the mountains beyond. (The pool can be heated for additional £ but we like to plunge!) We brought food and drinks with us so we could stay put for the evenings. The right decision! Whether snowflakes falling or a sunset, this was a space for all seasons! It is a drive to Yucca Valley, on un-made roads, so whilst an SUV is not strictly essential, we would recommend. The hosts are warm, proactive and responsive in their comms! Visit!

We had a wonderful stay at this Joshua Tree glamping site from March 8th to March 9th! The owner was incredibly helpful, giving us a warm welcome and sharing fascinating history about the place, which made our stay even more special. The glamping tent itself was beautifully set up with a lot of thoughtful details that made us feel both comfortable and safe. The sunset and sunrise here was breathtaking. You can tell the owner puts a lot of care into the space, and it really shows. We highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to enjoy a unique and cozy experience in Joshua Tree!

Our stay at the dome was unlike any other Airbnb experience we’ve had, and we have had many! It’s in a truly unique and magical spot. Might not be for everyone given the limited attractions in the immediate area, but it’s completely worth it for the experience of living amongst the wind turbines of Palm Springs. The interior design is a really cool, cohesive theme with lots of unique and special touches. Be aware that, being on a wind farm, it’s likely to be windy, sometimes extremely so.
