This beautiful Oakland Oasis was better than I imagined it would be! This place exceeded my expectations! Coming through the gate the first night, to a path of twinkling lights leading us to our adorable cabin took my breath away! It was the perfect location for peace and quiet right in the middle of Oakland. My only regret is that I didn’t spend more time on the property. We flew in from out of state to visit friends and spent a lot of time out and about. I definitely want to come back to spend more time hanging out in the backyard with the goats and chickens. My 13-year-old loved the backyard, the trampoline and the animals. The location was very walkable and within several blocks of many restaurants and shops. We rented a car and street parking was easily accessible. Reinhardt Redwood Regional Park was only an 8 minute drive away and we spent most mornings walking through the mountains enjoying the beautiful trees and views of San Francisco. Highly recommend this listing!

Amy's place was wonderful - one of the few places we've ever stayed that was even better in person than in pictures. It was clean, spacious, and very comfortable for the 2 of us. The outdoor space was amazing, plenty of quiet spaces to lounge in the sun and walk around. The area was great as well, quiet but close to downtown, and Amy was a thoughtful and responsive host, we really appreciated her thoughtfulness. The one thing to note is that the Wi-fi could be unreliable - we both worked from the Airbnb, and made it work for the week, but something to note for future visitors. We'd definitely recommend this place and plan to come back next time we visit. Thank you Amy!

Radhia's cottage was absolutely charming, and my friend and I immediately felt at home. It is situated in a peaceful, clean, and secure neighborhood. The train station was within walking distance, and the city was conveniently close. I would certainly consider staying here again—such a delightful spot!

If you need to stay in West Berkeley, this is a very convenient spot. The cottage is unusual and artistic. We particularly enjoyed the upstairs kitchen with loads of windows.

I had an absolutely tranquil and relaxing stay at this wonderful Airbnb! Nestled in a quiet suburb, it was the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The garden was a true highlight, offering a peaceful space to unwind with its beautiful greenery and serene atmosphere. The neighborhood was calm, and I felt completely at ease throughout my stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat!

This is a gem of a stay in a fantastic location. I live close to Rezan’s place and had to move out of my house for construction. Finding a place that would allow me to bring my cats was hard. Rezan wanted them to be comfortable; she and her sister went out of their way to remove decorative touches that would be a temptation, tied up drapes, and put a beautiful cover on the sofa. The quiet, peaceful setting and fantastic bed combined to give me the best sleep I’d had in months. Rezan’s hospitality is unequaled. The pictures can’t do justice to the decor and gardens.

This is our second time staying at Ray's. Ray is a great host and always responsive to my requests. He has made upgrades to his home since our last visit. All of which were appreciated. We'll be back, Ray

We have enjoyed our stay at Kate's place. The cottage is cozy and comfortable. Bedrooms are nice and spacious. Kate is responsive and a great host. We found everything we needed. Good location and close to where we want to go. Appreciate the flexibility of check-in time.

Beautiful secluded area up in the hills. Very peaceful and quiet. Laurel is a very nice host! Lots of dishes to cook a meal, comfy bed. Lots of blankets and pillows. Lots of books and games for the kids. Lots of windows to enjoy the nature. But it was very cold and drafty. It’s an old structure and probably not very well insulated. Floor was very cold even in wool socks. Each room has a wall heater but it had to be set higher than we usually have to feel comfortable. There are lots of blankets. Small bathroom with a super tight shower, also was very cold.

Rifat’s home was as advertised and she is a lovely host! Perfect set up for being productive, creative or just relaxing. Enjoyed coffee on the expansive patio in the morning and wine in the evening. A great spot to think and enjoy the scenery. Also plenty of great hikes nearby. Check out the local farmers market on Sundays. A fantastic stay!

Yao has a great unit to stay at! The whole apartment is well kept, clean & well updated. We would definitely stay again if needed. Communication, check in, and location were also very good.

The location is fantastic. Within 5 minutes of walking you are in the open space nature and within 10 minutes you are at the ocean. My wife and I spent a whole day walking up and down the coast with one pitstop back in the house (because it was so close to the trail). The guesthouse is cosy but includes everything you might need for a comfortable stay. We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This is my 3rd or 4th time staying at Pedram's place and every time is perfect. Pedram is super easy to communicate with and responsive. The place is exactly what I want and has excellent appliances and layout.

Slavik's Airbnb is tastefully decorated and thoughtful about traveller's needs. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking condiments and basics. The garden is beautiful and the location is convenient to Downtown San Carlos, stores and services. We had a pleasant stay and will to return in the future.

Christine and her family (plus fur-babies) were very hospitable! Charlie was there to great us when we first arrived and he loved keeping us company the whole visit! Home was at a beautiful location with great nighttime views! Any questions asked host was very responsive and attentive! Home was fully stocked with household needs-be it bathroom, bedroom or kitchen.

Helen's place is roomy with a well-equipped kitchen and a nice bathroom. The dishwasher and washer/dryer provided added convenience. The location is just off busy Woodside Road with a Safeway market about 5 minutes away on foot.

Great host, very quick to respond the place was wonderful and I enjoyed my stay there and will be definitely looking forward to staying here in the future as well five stars highly recommended!

This perfectly-appointed cabin in the sky was the ideal escape “between the years.” It rained every day of our stay but that did not stop us from walking down to the beach, grabbing a bite at Parkside Cafe, and exploring every hiking trail in walking distance. (Highly recommend the Dipsea trail to Steep Ravine with a side bar to the Stinson Tree.) Carey really thought of everything: not only was the bed comfy and the place spotlessly clean, the kitchen was well-equipped (cream for the coffee!) as was the bathroom (thick towels!) We especially appreciated the clear instructions for operating windows and other things. It was our best Airbnb experience to date and we can’t wait to come back.

Great place in the middle of the silicon valley

The backyard was beautiful. They had a wonderful dog and my dog liked the stay as well. All of extra amenities provided which was really nice. Space was bigger than expected and very peaceful. Mattress was as comfortable as put on description!Will definitely consider the stay again.

What a wonderful birthday/Valentines getaway at the Bathhouse! I felt like I was at an onsen in the mountains for Japan. Suzanne was the perfect hostess and even had a birthday card for my arrival with the yummiest homemade lemon poppy seed bread. The entire aesthetic and views of the bathhouse evokes calming relaxation. The bed is heavenly as other reviewers mentioned. Muir woods ands Point Reyes were just a hop and skip away, we hiked and ate oysters in Bolinas and came back to unwind in the hot tub everyday. The plum tree petals would fall as we sat in the hot tub. It was magical to say the least! I can't wait to go back when the Japanese Maple tree has leaves again. If are looking for tranquility and Zen, this is the place.
