Where do I start. Juli is AMAZING to work with. She is TRULY a GEM. I feel like we've gained a life-long friend (as odd as that sounds). Her communication is SUPERB. She is full of ideas, recommendations, and just all out GREAT ADVICE. She was our first Airbnb booking and she made the process absolutely seamless. She had outstanding ideas and recommendations to local grocery stores, things to do, etc. She explained the check-in process in AMAZING detail and we had no questions going in. She was always available to reach out to if we needed ANYTHING and gave the BEST advice. Thank you, Juli -- for an AMAZING week full of memories. This was our FIRST family trip as a group of 7 and we can't wait to make this a regular thing. You truly are the BEST to work with!!

The place was a winner - new, clean, well-maintained and a beautiful view of the pacific. Really a lovely setting.

This place was so lovely abs restful. The Internet was great for working from home and the yard was perfect for our pups. Walking distance to the beach and lots of fun restaurants. We would highly recommend this place in Oceanside!

My family stayed here for a few days while in town for a reunion, what a great place! The house is very comfortable with plenty of room for three people, a fully functional kitchen, and a porch with a stunning view of the woods surrounding the house. The neighborhood was safe and very hip, and easy to walk around. John recommended the ice cream place nearby and it did not disappoint. The house is also very close by to the museums in Balboa Park, and a very easy drive to several nearby beaches. Communication with John and his son was easy and immediate, they were great hosts! I would definitely recommend staying here!

We were very happy with the place! Bigger than expected and very comfortable! We loved the location because we could pretty much be anywhere in 15 min. The kids loved the game closet (so many!!!) and the treehouse. We enjoyed the Viking stove and spacious kitchen. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were fine. Grill wasn't working but we let the management company know. Parking was easy. Washer/Dryer was new and easy to use. Single cup coffee machine was a little tedious. Neighborhood is very quiet and calm. There is a great view of the bay from the house. Liberty station is notorious for airplane noise so be ready for plane noise starting at 6:30am sharp as they are creating their new runway at SAN. The planes stop at around 10pm so its very quiet for sleeping. Most days the planes were taking off right overhead. One day they were landing instead because of the fog and that was a little quieter. It was exciting watching them take off from the upper balcony. We all got used to it.

We had an amazing stay at this place. The house is clean and has everything you need. It is inside an amazing farm where you can walk , see animals .. great for kids. And short drive from wineries and supermarkets. The host was very friendly and responsive. Totally worth it !

The “Tuscan Villa” was aptly named as it truly had a very Mediterranean vibe. The place was spacious enough to accommodate my extended family for our Thanksgiving Day dinner. Everyone had a great time catching up with all the comings and goings on of different family members. Needless to say, a good time was had by all! Heidi answered any questions I had tout de suite and dealt with a minor problem in a timely manner.

Jamal's home is beautiful with a 360 view, comfortable and spacious. Great location! Would recommend anyone staying in SD to visit this home! The neighbors were friendly. I especially appreciated the parking and safety!

Lan was very kind and responsive to our requests. Our family had a great time and felt right at home. I will definitely recommend her.

I had celebrated my birthday party with family and friends that flew out from Texas and all I can say is that we ALL were excited! This place, with immaculate views, is the BEST Airbnb I’ve ever experienced. We my family and friends plan to come back for the summer for an entire MONTH! It was that GREAT! Stunning home. I want to travel back to 2019 when it sold and buy it. Lol. Super quiet and peaceful! Hot tub was clean and fancy, the whole family loved the dedicated home theater. We went on walks up to the top of the property and wow!

We really enjoyed our stay at Paul's Air BNB! The house was clean and comfortable. We loved that we could give Alexa commands for the lights, TV, and music. The backyard was amazing with a nice pool, jacuzzi, and sitting area. Paul was very accommodating and worked with our needs. He always responded promptly when we reached out to him. The house was well stocked with everything that we needed during our stay. The neighborhood was welcoming and calm with a park near by. We highly recommend you staying here! It felt like home to us!

My colleagues and I loved your home. We were attended a local conference and found everything we needed. The upstairs patio was a lovely place to unwind and we enjoyed being near Little Italy and so close to the water as well (wonderful runs and walks every morning!). The pool was a huge hit with our kids, and every detail-from the amenities to the little thoughtful touches-made our stay extra special. Wonderful, quiet location! Loved walking around the neighborhood and seeing the big horn sheep. Comfortable beds, lovely clean home, kitchen very well stocked. We ate in most nights and the kitchen had everything you could want to prepare a meal. We would definitely come back. Ryan and Darnie were very responsive to our inquiries...very gracious hosts!

Our stay with Mieko was amazing! The property was stunning and peaceful. The only downside is that we didn’t stay long enough!!

The house was immaculate, the views gorgeous, the pool was sparkling, and everything in the kitchen was so nicely labeled! I loved not having to open each drawer to find things. The kitchen was very nicely stocked which was a welcome surprise. My mom visited me while at the house and wanted to book her own stay there! 10/10.

We had the best stay at Casa Nera! The house was even better than the photos. My kids loved the pool and we enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the sunset in the evenings. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and the beds were super comfy. Perfect, peaceful spot for us to relax for spring break!

This place was super cool and much bigger than expected (when judging by the pictures). The downstairs "apartment" was a big hit with the teens. Its fairly secluded, which we like, but you will need a car to get to anywhere. Also, its on a private road which is closed in one end (the "left" or west end) but both ends still shows up when using GPS directions. So, when looking at a map make sure you come at the house from the right side (east), not the left (west).

As others have said, Elmar is a great host and the property was beautiful. We loved the view of the orchards from the patio. Our elderly parents especially appreciated all the citrus from the property that Elmar generously shared with us. Meandering through the grapefruit groves brought them back to their agricultural roots. Furnishings and accessories were all very tasteful and reminiscent of boutique hotel decor. We were there for an engagement party and there was plenty of space for our family to spread out and hang out around the massive dining table and the outdoor patio. Wished we could have stayed longer to relax and just enjoy the space.

Overall, the space is amazing and the views are some of the best in San Diego County. I've stayed at this property twice. At the price point we paid, it is definitely worth the price for the privacy and views. The house and grounds need a lot of work. The pictures are outdated - like at least 15 or more years in some cases. There are stones/tiles missing, broken, water features are rusted/dirty and not always working. The pool robot doesn't function, despite not being allowed to move it from the pool (in the rules) and it takes up the whole pool space - pool isn't the cleanest because the robot doesn't function. The cleaning staff is very inefficient. It smelled like they sprayed fabuloso and left - but not before the cleaners' dogs (3) left behind poo in the yard during our stay. Our feet were black from the floors, so we had to clean ourselves. The maintenance guy (Beto) is very friendly, helpful and is a local. The people co-hosting seem to not know about the property state.
