I can't find the words to express my gratitude for Shanna, Kenny and Rudy. they took such great care of us. We loved relaxing in the howler house and swimming in the pool. We left to a new location and had some trouble with the host, so I called Shanna and she invited us back to stay in one of the cabanas, at a discounted rate to help us out. We were so so lucky to have them looking out for us! Rudy is a passionate and very kind driver, working in tourism for many years. we were so grateful he was available to come save us from our other location and bring us back to Howler Resort. he also drove us to the ATM tour and is so knowledgeable about his country. I can't wait to see this family again. special shout out to Keniyah, their 4 year old daughter who stole our hearts and brought us many laughs ❤️❤️❤️

James was very friendly and helpful. We felt safe staying here. We enjoyed using the pool and relaxing on the deck.

We had a wonderful week in Lisa’s house. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The house is large, confortable and real clean. Lisa is a very generous host, providing so many extras, even a blender, which I tryly enjoyed. Her brother drove us from Belize docks and later to Hopkins. Perfect professional service and knowledgeable conversation. Her mother cooked tasty meals at a very affordable price. I strongly recommend!

Such a precious family! We did not stay the full amount of days because my husband’s friends who live near San Ignacio saw we were in Belize and wanted us to come be with them. But we really enjoyed our short stay. Communication was excellent and the food Sitnah’s mom cooks is outstanding! She even catered to our preferences on spices. The bed was very comfortable. Enjoyed our conversations and we highly recommend. Sitnah is very helpful in helping with suggestions on what to do in the area. Our only regret is not renting a car ahead of time. They were sold out at the airport.

We absolutely loved this place. Off the beaten track the log cabin and the surroundings were perfect for us and if. Outside the cabin is a seating area by the lake where you can just sit and survey the surroundings..turtles in the water, birds in the trees,iguanas running up the trees. David is a great host picked us up from Belize City and shared history of the country on many of our journeys with him. We visited an area where there were a few Howler Monkeys to see; made Belizean chicken and rice with Rachel at the cabin; went on a river boat tour up to the Lamanai ruins. Everything was great. Not much more to say really other than would highly recommend a visit .

Our 3 nights stay at Konstantin's place was the best of our visit to Belize, we were very disappointed of Belize City but at least when we went home we felt safe, we got some peace in this beautiful property. Near Altun Ha and 45mins to Belize City. I highly recommend it.

My husband and I stayed one night at Lily's place before going to the airport and it was a great spot for what we needed! It's a super quick taxi ride to the airport, the bed was comfortable, and the AC worked great to keep the room cool while we slept.

There aren’t a lot of options if you need to overnight near the airport. Pamela’s place is where it’s at. We stayed here on the front and back end of our trip. It is perfect. You can arrange transportation with her, for a fee, but it is so nice knowing you have that taken care of after a long day of traveling. Plus … they have a puppy! 🐶 ❤️

We bookended our trip at this spot to make getting to the airport easy. It was a great crash pad! Our host was so friendly and made us delicious breakfast on both of our stays - highly recommended! She was responsive to any questions we had as well. The ceiling is open between rooms, so a bit less private than we are used to, and I don't think the hot tub was operational - but it was all fine in the end and very affordable! We would stay here again next on our next trip if flights lined up similarly. SERIOUSLY - try the Belizean breakfast <3 Thank you!
