This was a great stay while visiting family in the area. Very walkable. You can see the ocean from many of the windows. The place was clean and as pictured, which I really appreciated.

Darryl’s beach cottage is relaxing, peaceful, and private for the ultimate ocean getaway with a nostalgic feel and modern amenities. It’s fully stocked with everything needed for a comfortable and restful stay. You arrive and see a breathtaking view and hear the roar of the ocean’s friendly greeting on a large patio with comfortable outdoor furniture, a BBQ, and charcoal (there was even sunscreen inside.) Darryl thought of everything for this studio cottage…kitchen is fully stocked with condiments, necessities, and cookware (it was our anniversary and Darryl had snacks and bevs waiting for us.) The bathroom has skin friendly soaps, plenty of nice towels and TP that isn’t the cheap scratchy stuff! Don’t get me started on the comfortable bed, my husband and I have different sleeping preferences and we both slept well on the bed, pillows and linens. It faces a large TV and we watched our fave show in comfort and style (we’re hoping to get the same bed now.) We’ll definitely return ASAP!

Andrea's place is in a very desirable area, close to restaurants and waterways. Sadly when we went, it was rainy so we weren't able to see it's full beauty. I'm sure it's wonderful. The unit was very clean, modern and perfect for the two of us. Loved having a full washer/dryer in the unit, and the primary suite is lovely. The only thing I wish I knew was that there are different levels. When you enter, it's a step down. I tripped the first few times I entered. There's also a step down from the kitchen and from the primary ... again tripped a few times. So if you're one who needs one level floor plan, you may want to ask Andrea questions about the flooring. Otherwise, it's a beautifully clean and quiet place. And as other reviewers stated, you definitely will need a "thin" car to fit into the parking spot. It was fine for us, but if you have a full sized truck or SUV, it will be tight. Highly recommend this place!

The stay was great, location was right by the pier which was lovely and we really liked the apartment! The hosts were super communicative and friendly.

The Cali Blue Bus was the perfect base setup for a weekend music festival I attended. The area was super quiet when I returned each evening. It was a very neat and unique experience for sure. You can hear and see the ocean out of the windows or close the curtains and have plenty of privacy. Would definitely recommend it for people to stay.

We had an incredible stay at this Santa Monica house over the holidays while visiting family. The location is unbeatable—just one block from the beach and one block from Main Street, offering easy access to shops, restaurants, and the ocean. The house itself is spacious, comfortably accommodating our group of five, with plenty of room to relax. It felt like a true home away from home. Our host, Summer, was exceptional—accommodating, responsive, and genuinely kind. Her hospitality made our trip even more enjoyable. Having stayed at numerous Airbnbs, we can confidently say this is one of our all-time favorites. We can’t wait to return for another visit!

This is easily the favorite Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. Only reason I contemplated leaving a review, is because I don’t want others to fill the slots 😂😂 Will definitely be back soon. Thank you to the hosts!

Overall a great place to stay in Malibu. Ideal location on the beach with its own private entrance. The house was complete furnished as described. If you plan to airbnb keep in mind that this place uses a septic tank. If you are not used to the smell of the septic tank it may throw you off. It wasn't a nasty smell but a unique odors that we needed to address occasionally with candles and airing out the unit.

Very comfortable relaxing listing in a very nice, safe neighbourhood only 10 mins to beach. All equipment you would need for a stay. Tony and Artem are extremely responsive and kind hosts.

Great place to stay. Close to everything! Very clean and Peter is very kind and friendly. He is very fast and responsive. The place is exactly as shown and it’s a great place to enjoy the city but enjoy the sites and has the marina as a great view! Thanks Peter!

Melody's place at the Malibu Outrigger is a total gem - peaceful and private, with the sound of crashing waves. Access to the clean, private beach couldn't be easier (head down to the ground floor and it's steps from there), and the pool, jacuzzi and lounge area on the grounds are all well-maintained and comfortable. Great jumping-off point for exploring Malibu (a plaza about a mile down the road has a ton of great shops and restaurants, including Howdy's and Taverna Tony).

Alisa's place was exactly what I was looking for - a quiet relaxing apartment, with kitchen/laundry/internet/TV etc. as advertised, with lots of nearby shops and a peaceful outdoor pool/spa. I highly recommend Alisa's place and would definitely book it again!

Excellent location with walking distance to the marina and great restaurants.

The views are wonderful and walking around the marina is pretty. The condo is spotless. Claudia was extremely responsive throughout the rental. I see why she is Superhost. It was winter so we didn’t use the pool, but the pool area and close-by patio area with hot tub are nice. Whole Foods in Venice is great and close by, as is Costco, so we had many meals at ‘home.’ A few cons: there is no bedroom. It is a studio. No fluffy white towels in bathroom as shown. Can’t use the small balcony. Finally - not a reflection on the host at all, but the building has shared water and morning showers were not always hot. Evening showers were fine. A nice place if you want a home base away from downtown in a pretty area.

To say we had a great time would be an understatement! The instructions to everything were so clear and all of the amenities were amazing. I highly recommend this place to anyone who's thinking of booking!

Very nice home and great area! We were a party of five and this home fit us very well. Very clean home and well equipped. It was a two minute walk to Venice beach and boardwalk as well as numerous restaurants and shops within two minutes! We would hang out on the back deck and sit around the gas fire pit as well as using the gas grill to cook dinner. Shawn was always very responsive with any questions we had and made sure our stay was comfortable. I would highly recommend this property!

I am a single mom with twin teens. We took a road trip starting in Washington down the coast. This was our last stop. It was the perfect place for us to end our trip. It was clean. My type of clean. And the bedding was so comfortable she gave me the name of the pillows. It was such a great location. Walked to restaurants and the beach. Close to airport. We never wanted to leave. Thank you for a wonderful landing spot! Highly recommend.

The most beautiful and clean AirBnB I've ever stayed at. The inside was decorated incredibly beautifully. Very clean, private, beautiful garden area. The view and walk to the beach made this 5/5 stars. I would recommend walking to the 'Coastal Access' beach that is just a minute walk from Geoffrey's. This place was perfect for a weekend trip to Malibu. A tiny note is I did have trouble checking in (not many instructions) and the landscaper was confused that we were there. Wish the hosts could have communicated a little more there, but not a huge problem as it all got figured out. :) <3

The house is in a great location with all the amenities you would want, as well as multiple bikes, boogie boards, beach toys and towels. Perfect for a family stay. It is an easy walk to the beach, good restaurants, or biking on the strand. Montie was very helpful and responsive, making sure we knew how to get in and operate everything. Great home for a family beach getaway.

A great place to stay in Venice Beach - safe, spacious, clean, and comfortable. It’s a townhome with 3 floors - so know that if any of your party has mobility challenges. The master suite, in particular was quite spacious. The 2nd floor was nicely laid out and provided a great place to convene with family. Literally steps from the beach, and we also walked to the main drag for a plethora of restaurants. On site parking a plus, and plenty towels and beach accessories. We would definitely come back to visit.

angela went above and beyond to accommodate the repeatedly changing dates of my business trip, it was super helpful. i loved that the beach was so close (3 min by walk). i really felt like at home - thank you for welcoming to your place.

Eleanora and Ian are excellent hosts. Perfect communication, super responsive to messages. Their place is cosy and spotless, with a nice little courtyard, in a quiet side street with no through traffic. Parking on the street - always a spot free while we were there, and we had no issues getting one literally right in front of the gate most times we returned. Two short blocks from the beach. 5-10 minute pleasant walk to the stores and restaurants at Venice Pier, and only a few minutes drive to Abbott Kinney / central Venice. Close proximity to LAX as well - all in all, excellent location, great hosts and a good choice for a long weekend!
