Amazing place to go with family and friends!

Our week-long stay at Franklin's home was truly amazing. The house is incredibly beautiful, clearly built with love and attention to every detail, which you notice from the moment you arrive. Every part of the house felt cozy and private. The upper terrace was perfect for bird watching, dining, and reading. The Jacuzzi was extremely comfortable and a great way to spend time with the kids. The fire pit was splendid, and there were so many places for barbecuing. The dock had everything we needed for fishing, kayaking, and enjoying the water. The surrounding nature was stunning, with beautiful sunsets every evening and a variety of bird species. We even spotted a crocodile, turtles, and plenty of fish in the water. Our family was so captivated by the experience that we didn't want to leave, and my son keeps asking when we can return. Thank you, Franklin, for allowing us to stay in your incredible home!

Kim's home is as homely as one could ever feel like. The home is as genuine and authentic and real as Kim is. The experience was more unbelievable and amazing than we ever could've hoped for. I'll never pay to stay anywhere else in East Texas from now on. No other place could have been a better match, than Kim's, for my love for Lake Livingston and the East Texas area.

Comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a weekend getaway.

We had our family stay at his place and we enjoyed the place. The house is by the river so that was a bonus. The kitchen has all the tools you need. Mike was nice and responded promptly when I had questions. We will go back again.

Great host

This place was perfect for a peaceful getaway with the girls. We used the paddle boat, built a fire in the awesome firepit, made smores, had a few drinks, and decided to sleep in the room with multiple beds so it could be a true slumber party! The beds were comfy, the shower got nice and HOT, and the screened-in patio was so nice to have breakfast in. The star of the show for us was the firepit right by the water! It was the perfect weather to bundle up and sit by the fire, talk, and listen to the beautiful sounds of nature. Not to mention, the stars are incredible out here! We would recommend this place. We were only concerned about the 9pm quiet time because all of us are a bit loud naturally, but we didn't seem to run into any issues. Thank you so much for letting us stay at your beautiful place, Tuan! And for replenishing the firewood for us! It kept us nice and warm. :)

This place was so cute and cozy the weather was horrible so we didn't get to enjoy the amenities. Jenna was so friendly she definitely made the stay so much better. Having a great host really makes a difference. The place was very neat and clean. Plan on going back hopefully with better circumstances and weather

My cousin and I chose Mariska's place because of its proximity to my aunt who lives around the corner. It was an added bonus that the place was so nice, well-stocked and comfortable. Mariska is a generous host and I would not hesitate to recommend her place or return myself.
